Jonathan was professional and very thorough throughout the entire survey process. He quickly responded to our initial email and let us know upfront what he would do and what the cost would be. Due to the courthouse not having the proper documentation he had to come out several times, but he always called us to let us know what was going on and when he would be working on our survey. Also despite the extra work he did not charge us more than the original estimate. After finishing we met when it was mutually convenient (i.e. we did not need to take time off work!) Overall we were very happy with the survey and Jonathan's work and would recommend him to anyone in the area.

Excellent, I would definitely recommend Jonathan to everyone. He was very professional and communicated the exact work and time frame for the work to be completed. The quick turnaround time was excellent as well. We received 4 permanent markers at the corners and also property line wooden stakes as well. Exactly what we needed to have done for our property. I was pleased working with Mr. Tabas - He was responsie to any and all questions - explained the details. patiently - kept in touch via, telephone and email. Always advised me when he was coming, ahead of time. He was very thorough and conscientious about the quality of his work. Weather related delays , especially Hurricane Sandy- he would contact me to discuss the delays and reschedule.

Excellent experience - Jonathan and his team came as promised, stuck to their schedule, and delivered the final survey as promised. He maintained constant contact if any delay or other issue arose. We were fully informed - not a single bump in the road.

Mr. Tabas was unfortunately unavailable to do our survey as he was already booked.

He did a pretty good thorough job, he explained and everything. You could have the city do it, but you have to wait forever, and still pay, or you could have this guy to do it and he comes out faster. We paid about $80.00 more than we should have, but he comes out fast.

He asked and received from me the date of the job and the cost for his own information. It was refreshing to consult with this type of professional who seems to be looking out for the best interest of the consumer.

Jonathan returned my call quickly and was very helpful in describing what he did. He came when he said he would, seemed very serious about his work, and spent time after the survey was done making sure I understood what he had marked. Great experience.

The survey was performed in a timely manner and was reasonably/competively priced. Mr. Tabas was professional and thorough. We would use his services again if needed in the future.

I called just before the holidays and arranged for Jonathan to come out at the start of the new year. He came on January 4th, as scheduled. Before coming out, he had performed background research (checking county records and deeds of neighboring properties). He was able to find existing corner markers, 3 of which I had been unable to locate. He confirmed the accuracy of these markers, made them more visible, and added additional temporary (wood) markers along the sides of the property, as I had requested. He then walked me around the property and explained what he found and what he had done. He also followed up via email to make sure were satisfied with his services.

We have found Mr Tabas at times rude or at least sarcastic, and he has not completed the job he was paid for after what is now 4 1/2 months. We contacted Mr Tabas after finding him on Angie's list, to survey a property we were under contract to purchase. Via email, he sent us options for the property survey. Option #1 was the property survey to locate and mark the boundaries of the subject property, and note any encroachments, etc, as indicated for $675. Option #2 included all of Option #1, adding an "as-built" plan. This means that he would draw out the permanent structures on the property for an additional $400, totaling $1075. We chose option #2, so that we could use this "as-built" plan to help us plan future development of the property. We made this choice in our reply email which was short and to the point. Mr Tabas completed the boundary survey on 7/27/10, and walked us through the property, pointing out the borders and an encroachment by one of our neighbors. We paid him $1075. He then stated he did not do an "as-built" survey, and would have to return later to complete that. He returned late in August, without our prior knowledge that he would be there that day. When I arrived at the property with another contractor I did have an appointment with, Mr Tabas and his equipment were blocking the driveway. He was actually angry that I wanted access to the driveway. When I was able to speak to him before he left, he said he would get us the completed survey mid-September. I accepted this answer, although I was disappointed. Mid-October, after not hearing anything from him, we emailed Mr Tabas to ask when we could expect to receive the completed survey. He said, "I didn't realize there was a time limit". We emailed him again in mid-November, stating that we wanted the survey by the end of the month. He said he would get it to us. Dec 1st we emailed him again, and stated then we felt we had been patient. He emailed a reply saying he was grateful for rain that day, and for a busy season. He said he would get it to us within the next day. It did not come. We have emailed him again today (12/6/10) requesting he complete the work immediately, and to please not answer with a tart reply, as most of his replies are slightly caustic. We gave Mr Tabas an N/A in two areas in order to explain further here: Responsiveness: He generally responds quickly (within a day) to our emails, but they always have a somewhat sarcastic edge to them (I am taking this with the tone of his voice in a couple of our phone or personal dealings). Punctuality: He was here at the property on the day of the original appointment as scheduled, but he took a month to return to complete the work that he failed to read in our email which served as the method for ordering the work, and has failed to complete the work 4 1/2 months later.

We hired ACRE to survey the property since we recently purchased it and want to install a fence. The entire experience was positive. All communication was done via cell phones and email until the end. Johathan surveyed the entire property and staked it out. Then he met me on a separate day to review the paperwork and walk the property. Thanks to ACRE.

Jonathan did a great job. I chose him after seeing positive reports here, and was not disappointed. He was responsive, his quote was $1,000 less than others, he was professional, and I have no complaints. He offered to walk the boundary with me after he finished, explained encroachments, and at all points was proactive in asking pertinent questions and offering helpful comments.

This went very well. The surveyor was recommended by our relocation company and he was excellent from the beginning. All calls were promptly returned and all of the work was done efficiently. Do take the time to walk the property with him after he has completed the survey. He can explain everything clearly

Wonderful job I believe and a very nice gemtleman. Was very patient and was prompt and showed up when he said he would to do the work. I am very happy with his services and would definately use again.

EXCELLENT! Jonathan provided a clear explanation of my property rights and boundaries. He placed inconspicuous, permanent metal stakes/monuments at the four corners of my new property as well as wooden stakes in between about 20 - 30 ft apart. At the end of the job he gave me a walk-thru and pointed out where neighbors were encroaching as well as provided a certified statement indicating the work that was performed. He was very professional and courteous. I did not have to be home for the majority of the time, he called me about 1/2 hour before he was done so that we could do the walk-thru.

Shocking results show four feet of my neighbor's property, fence, etc. belongs to me! Suggestions how to deal with such a perplexing problem, ranged from "WW III" to a written 'gentlemen's agreement", the last of which I trust will suffice. Sometimes we can learn too much information....

I found Jonathan Tabas on Angie's list. He was very reasonable in negotiating a discounted price for a partial survey we needed prior to planning a garage. I happen to be around when he did the survey and he was professional and friendly. He left us with exactly the information we asked for and he promised he would deliver. I recommended him to a neighbor a few houses away who wants to pave a driveway. I would use him again.

Acre was the first company I contacted for property survey estimates. The phone was answered by Jonathan Tabas, who went over the service details, pricing options, etc. He took my contact information and immediately followed up via e-mail, summarizing our conversation and service options. After calling a few other businesses in the area (who were all priced similarly), I decided to go with Acre. Jonathan notified me when the survey was about to get done, I didn't need to be home at that time. We then met the next day to go over the details and property lines. He was very polite, on time and extremely professional. While doing the survey, he noticed that our neighbor had their ladder slightly on the property line. He just walked up to them, introduced himself and asked if he can move a ladder. I didn't have to worry about anything! At the end of the job I received survey documentation and a certification letter.

Survey was completed on time and was very professional. Post survey, we are to receive paperwork outlining the survey and official survey papers. We have not yet received this (over 1 month since work was completed), but trust that it will be in order when it arrives.
