One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning

Description of Work: Replaced oil furnace with forced air compressor. They had us with heat within 24 hours. The price was a little higher than hoped but the options given could have saved us, but appreciated being presented with options.

He spent a great deal of time trying to sell me "packages." But I expected that. I will probably call them again if I need service to my A/C.

The service person was right on time, performed the service and provided feedback on the condition of our unit. It was a great deal at $49 since we've paid over double in the past with other providers.

Description of Work: The rep was very professional and thorough. He really wanted to sell me one of several service plans which I was not interested in. He added 1lb+ Freon and the system seems to be working well.

Description of Work: I connected with Rohrer's One Hour through an Angie's List promotion for an AC checkup. Seth C. arrived on time and was professional & polite throughout the entire service call. He was very thorough and answered all my questions as he performed his job. I have to say that we had another company come out about a week prior to Rohrer's for a checkup, and the other technician didn't complete even half the checks that Seth did. He did a great job representing himself and his company. The protection plans he described to me are comparable in cost to others in my area, but the service is what has us leaning toward Rohrer's at this point. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Description of Work: One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning performed the Angie's List $49 A/C tuneup on my system. Tyler was very professional and took the time to answer any questions. The checks were thorough and there was no pressure applied to perform unnecessary services. The only issue I had was scheduling the appointment since they are so busy and my time off work is limited as well.

Description of Work: I bought the 20 point inspection for $49 for my air conditioning unit. They were on time and did as was expected. They informed me of a part which may need attention in the future and gave me options for service plans I could purchase as well. There was no pressure sales pitch, just the facts and what was available. I would use them again and recommend them for use. I do plan to purchase a service plan which will cover the part I may need to fix.

Description of Work: My central AC wasn't turning on, paid for a service call and they came out right away, that was the good part. Tech proceeded to look at the system and after 15 minutes came up and told me that 4 components needed to be replaced at a cost of nearly $1000. He recommended that I not do that because of the age of the unit(1998). He then called a sales rep over to sell us a whole new HVAC system. | |To get a second opinion I call a friend who owns commercial buildings and he sent his HVAC guy out. He fixed the unit with a $150 part and told me "I would love to sell you a new system but you don't need one yet". When I informed the One Hour sales rep about his comment he didn't respond and I haven't heard back from them. | |One Hour is a sales organization and not a service organization, that is fine, that industry is full of of these type of companies. Just be aware that if you are looking for service and an honest evaluation of your situation don't call these guys. If you want to buy a new system, they are courteous, professional sales people who almost had me sold. Like you do with a doctor, get a second opinion!

Description of Work: Discovered freon leaks in coils. Ran diagnostic test to determine the best way to proceed. Explain our options and is allowing us to process and determine how to proceed.

Description of Work: Provider did a great job, very professional and courteous for the coupon service. But the estimate I got for further work seemed high.

Description of Work: They tested refrigerant levels. Washed condenser coils & fins. Inspected contactor and capacitor. Other activities as normal for maintaining and inspecting cooling system. Technician Mark was on-time and courteous, explaining what he did as he did it. He wore booties on his workboots while inside our home, which was a nice touch.

Description of Work: Came in to check my A/C unit. Discovered mold in my duct work and I will be having a LED light installed on 4/22/14 He also said my capacitor was a little weak and I will have a new one installed also. The total of this work will be $987. The inspector that they sent was very professional and very informative and spend almost a hour and a half going over every thing. I had a inspector in about 2 years ago from another company because I smelled moldy air when the A/C was working and said he didn't smell or seen anything and spent no more then a half a hour,so no where was he a efficient as "One Hour's inspection. I will see how it goes once the LED light is installed to kill the mold. Hoping to smell fresh air this summer. Thanks for the deal, well worth the $49 for inspection and solution.
