He came out when he was supposed to and called when he was supposed to. He was very professional and very thorough with his work. He came out one evening and went out of his way to help us.

Kevin Caparo is a gentleman, a professional, and an outstanding HVAC expert and technician. He carefully diagnosed the problems with our system, had necessary parts overnighted and installed them the next day to get our heat and hot water system, which suffered a catastrophic failure due to defective sensors, up and running. He carefully and thoroughly cleaned and inspected the entire system, recommended replacing parts prone to failure, and returned to replace an additional part that began leaking. His work ethic is one of diligence and integrity and I truly feel he did the same quality of work for me that he would do for himself and his family, as he does for all his clients. I have full faith in his judgment and abilities and would HIGHLY recommend hm, without any reservations whatsoever, to anyone in need of his services. Additionally, per conversations I had before calling him, he is highly regarded by his colleagues and peers, as well as by Angie's List. Kevin Caparo is THE go-to man for all HVAC and plumbing needs, and is VERY knowledgable in all construction matters. He has also been retained by The Hideout as a consultant, and is a registered contractor in Pennsylvania.

After having had an abysmal experience with a prior contractor whom we had to dismiss because of gross incompetence, we consulted Angie's List and found Kevin Caparo, a local heating/plumbing and fireplace contractor. After interviewing Kevin over the phone, we arranged a time for him to service our fireplace, the performance of which had deteriorated over the last few weeks. We soon found Kevin to be the consummate professional: knowledgeable, competent, courteous, clean, and fair. We are very pleased and intend to use him for all our future plumbing, heating, HVAC, etc. needs. We couldn't recommend him more highly!

I obtained the service provider, Capero's HVAC, from Angie's List after a considerable search for a gas grill repair service. This is a family business, and my initial contact was a prompt return call from the provider's wife. She was most courteous and arranged for her husband, Kevin, the actual service provider to call me. After discussion of the problem with my gas grill, Kevin attempted to give me advice over the phone about possible ways that I could diagnose the problem and repair it myself. Although I was not inclined or particularly encouraged about any attempts I might make to find and fix the problem, Kevin's willingness to do so out of a desire just to help me out was an indication that the service and not necessarily the business was his first inclination. Nonetheless, because it was late in the day, and the distance between Kevin's and my location was about 40 miles, I was surprised pleasantly when Kevin accepted my unusual offer to bring the grill to his location that very evening to have him fix it. I arrived at Kevin's driveway at about 8:00 p.m., where Kevin worked for about the next two hours two to identify the problem and attempt various solutions until about 10:00 p.m., when Kevin determined the faulty part ( the regulator) that had to be replaced. We agreed that I would leave the grill, Kevin would buy the replacement part, and I would return the next evening to pick up the repaired grill. When I returned, the grill was ready, Kevin showed me how to fire it up, and I left with the knowledge and satisfaction that the grill would be available for the Memorial Day holiday. Unfortunately, when I attempted to fire up the grill two days later, it did not work. I called Kevin back a few days after that. He inquired about my procedure in attempting to fire up the grill, reiterated patiently the instruction he gave me when I picked up the grill, asked me to re-try the fire-up procedure, and call him back immediately with the result which, by the way, was positive. Upon calling him back, Kevin took the time to discuss other alternatives available to make sure that the grill operated properly. Not only did the experience with Kevin result in my grill being fixed. I also learned a bit about the grill's operation from Kevin who was eager to have me understand as much as I could about the grill. In my driveway discussion with Kevin, I inquired about the range of other services available from Caparo's HVAC. Based on my experience with Kevin, I feel that I have a friend to call upon for reliable advice, service and repair for virtually any appliance, electronic or plumbing problems in my home. I would not hesitate to call upon him.
