Caparo's HVAC

Kevin did excellent work on cleaning our oil furnace & was very detailed in cleaning every part of our furnace. He went the extra mile in coming back and puttting an oil guage on the oil tank for no charge. We would highly recommend him.

I am so grateful Kevin has come into our lives. He answer the phone on first ring and was here within 15-20 minutes. This is the third time we’ve called him this summer. The first two occasions were handled promptly and to our extreme satisfaction. On this occasion, he checked it out and then recommended who to get. I admire that… he could have gone in gung-ho to fix it, but he recommended someone better suited. This is an honorable man. I can’t say enough about him.

He answered all of of my questions, arrived promptly to my house, diagnosed the problem and fixed the fireplace! I recommend Kevin very highly. Kevin is a professional to be admired for his thoroughness. I live in NYC and needed Kevin to meet me at my vacation home in the Poconos at a specific date and time (I'm a 2 1/2 hour drive away). He arrived on time and quickly determined why my gas fireplace was inoperative. Unlike some plumbers who would then tell me that they needed to pick up a replacement part at a distant supply store and wouldn't be able to return until the next day, Kevin had a well-stocked inventory of parts in his van, including the precise replacement pilot assembly my fireplace needed. What a time-saver that turned out to be! Throughout the replacement process Kevin informed me what he was doing and why. His easy-going manner helped make the repair process "painless" and my fireplace hasn't worked this well in years. I would use Kevin Caparo again without hesitation for any future heating problems I might have and I heartily suggest you do too!

The job was excellently executed by by Kevin Caparo. The job was far from easy as Mr. Caparo had to crawl under a trailer and do all the work on his back . He cleaned and sanitized the ac once he dismantled it from the trailer then went on to put in all corrected ducts after he went to various supply stores to buy all the supplies needed to correct situation. All this was done in 95 degree temperatures. Mr Caparo was skilled and performed his job in such a professional manner. It took 2 days to complete the job and Mr. Caparo was loyal in completing his difficult duties. We recommend Caparo's HVAC very highly. Would not hesitate to use him again!!

Mr Caparo responded promptly to my Angie's list inquiry and was able to perform the service the same day. He arrived when he said he would, was courteous and professional, and seemed very capable at his work. He was also happy to educate me on my boiler system about which I was woefully unknowledgeable. I would and am planning to hire him again for some additional services.

Kevin did a fantastic job and went above and beyond. He stayed for hours until the problem was fixed and he was a gentleman and it actually felt like I knew him for years. He will be my new plumber for all our plumbing needs. Very happy!

This is my second review of Caparo HVAC. Kevin Caparo is by far the best contractor we have come across in PA. I am so glad I found him on Angie's list. He is professional, courteous, quick to respond to calls and, has never let us down! If you have an HVAC or plumbing issue do not hesitate to call him! You won't be disappointed!

EXCELLENT. Two other plumbers could not fix this problem but Kevin did in a very short time. He is a professional. I will absolutely call Kevin for all of my future plumbing needs.

I can not tell you how glad I was to find Kevin Caparo on Angie's list! After a month and a half of getting jerked around by another company we threw them off the job and hired Kevin. From the first day we spoke I could tell that I had found a good company and man. He actually went to our home on Friday afternoon at 5pm to check out our problem I was floored! He diagnosed the issue and got the ball rolling immediately. He explained everything he was doing and the different cost options up front. Ultimately we decided to replace the whole unit after he discovered an unforeseen issue and recommended we buy a new one rather than dump more money into an unsafe older unit. Knowing we were in a rush he drove a very long distance to pick up the new unit so we didn't have to wait for it to ship! Kevin is one of the best contractors I have ever dealt with. Kevin's A rating here on Angie's list should be an A+++ Do yourself a favor and hire him to do your job! You will not be disappointed! No more big companies for me its owner operators from now on!

Great service! Kevin came the same day I called. He explained clearly what my problems were and ordered faucet parts to be sent to me directly. He returned as soon as I received the parts, fixed the kitchen faucet and repaired the leak in the basement pipe. Kevin knows his business very well and cares about customer service. We originally called Kevin for a routine A/C tune-up after moving in to our new weekend home, and realized very quickly (after an avalanche of house problems) that we had found an invaluable resource. Since then he has fixed our hot water heater, installed outdoor LED driveway lights, diagnosed a broken washing machine and fixed a broken refrigerator … all in the course of a few weeks. Aside from being knowledgeable, Kevin is always very professional and personable, and is there for you when you’re in a bind. He maintains contact, explains everything, and is upfront about costs. We feel very fortunate to have formed the relationship. “We should call Kevin” has become a common phrase in our home, and we’re never disappointed when we do!

When I called for services he told me ahead of time how much it would cost, came that same night, and changed the hardware on washing machine. He was prompt, professional, and very courteous.

Extremely well. Kevin was prompt and professional, and did the job in a timely manner, at our convenience. We were also having difficulty installing the new above range microwave, and Kevin offered to do it for us. Again, it was accomplished quickly and competently, at reasonable cost. Work was done and completed and unit has been operating fine since work was done in June.

Kevin is great. He is very professional. He came on time and addressed the problems we had. We have only been in our home for a year and Kevin was great to give us more information on how to keep things running smoothly.

Kevin had cleaned the original heater for us and told us that it was in pretty bad shape and so when it stopped working, of course, we called him and he was willing to come out right then - which was late on a Friday night. Since we had another heat source, we told him that we could wait till the next morning. Kevin came out promptly that next day and after investigating told us it needed to be replaced. He took some measurements and told us he would call with some prices on different heaters so we could decide, which he did. We agreed on one and he then ordered the equipment. Once he got the oil furnace in he came back and did the installation in the bitter cold of a crawl space. Kevin tested the heater and installed a Nest thermostat that he had recommended so we can control the heat/ac from wherever we are through our phone which we absolutely love. TY Kevin. He came back the next day to install the propane insert. and made sure everything was working well with the oil furnace. In addition, we could not get the propane insert to light that night after numerous attempts so I called Kevin. He came out that night and again showed us how to do it which we really appreciated. We would recommend him to everyone.

Called him early saturday morning was here about 2 hours later, tested the machine found defective part, order the part return to to install it ,good as new, definitely would hire him again.

He is on time, he explains things thoroughly, he is helpful, and he will come in the evening if you need it. We have use him multiple times and each time we are satisfied.

Kevin Caparo, as always, was efficient, professional, responsive, personable, thorough, neat, and very effective in his servicing of our air conditioners to get them "summer ready."

The job went very well especially considering the very cramped space he had to work. Mr. Caparo pointed out problems with my old water heater and offered tips on how to make my new one last longer. He answered all my questions and took all packaging and old heater with him when the job was done. I didn't even have to miss work, he did the work after I got home. I was very happy with the whole experience.

The provider was immediately responsive even though he was called rather late in the evening. He was both personable and professional, and, most importantly, very efficient. Prior to his arrival, the leak was progressing rapidly (and rather suddenly). It definitely had the potential to cause major damage to our finished basement. He saved the day (or the night, actually).

The title should be "Who Ya Gonna Call ?" 1:30 am Friday Night { technically Saturday morning } and no running water in the house. A house full of people, including an infant and house guests coupled with our need to be away from the house in the morning created quite a problem. We called all of the local plumbers - answering machines,,, then i remembered that the HVAC guy Kevin Carparo was also a plumber. Ring ring and his wife answers the phone. I sheepishly asked, is it really true that you have 24/7 service? With what seemed like a smile, she said yes , and I asked to speak to Kevin. Hmmm seemed like he was enjoying his sleep. Best i figured was that at least he would come out during the weekend SOMETIME. He asked if it was an emergency and i said well i guess that is based on how your define it, but no .the house has not floated away, but it is a problem for us. He said no problem i will be right out. BTW he lives about an hour away. Sure enough he shows up in an hour - bright eyed and smiling.. We go thru the paces of tracking down the problem and it turns out he has to go outside in the rain at 2:30 in morning to completely strip and re-work the wiring in the pump outside. By 4:30 I get the high sign and we turn the water on. Prettiest sight i had seen in a long time. Water flowing from the faucets. What more can i say.. Incredible service hardly does just to this miracle man. Thanks

First came to give an evaluation and called with the price for the parts. When given go ahead, ordered parts and set date to come to do repair. Arrived within timeframe and did work required. The unit is now running quietly. Polite and careful including taking off shoes so that he would not dirty the carpet.
