About us

Steelway Cellar Doors does not cut corners on anything we do. We manufacture everything we install and we do it all with our own employees and never use subcontractors. This means you can be assured that we do the job right and if you want something unique that we have the ability to do the job. We only do basement entrances - we don't finish basements, do waterproofing or decks or additions. Excavating next to your home and opening up your foundation wall is a big deal that's why we insist on gettting permits so you can be assured that the job is done right. We have specialized equipment to do the job with the minimal amount of interuption to your home - engineered headers, special saws to reduce dust and yard mats to protect your yard. All part of the benefit of using a company that specializes in one thing.

Description of Work: I called Steelway because I need new basement doors. They called promptly and gave me the information I needed. They don't do foundation repair, so I need to have that done in the spring before I have the new doors installed. He made sure I knew not to have the work done in the cold weather, which I appreciated. I plan to call them back once I have the base work done.

Description of Work: I thought this project went very well. We had an egress door installed in our basement. This involved cutting a doorway into our concrete wall. Price was good and work was performed as promised. No problems with prefab installed stairs to date.

Description of Work: Came to install a new egress door to basement. They were extremely careful of lawn especially having to access my yard through the neighbors driveway. They were efficient and very professional. Their work really made it easier to access house and my finish work afterwards wasn't that bad because of their precision. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: Steelway crew came today and installed the egress window. The team has performed awesome job with out messing up the basement and also cleaned the patio and stucco wall. I strongly recommend Steelway for any customer wants to install egress window or cellar door. We got really bright light inside the basement now. Fred was my sales person and John came for the installation. John was very nice to take care our request. I really appreciate the work performed by them today.
