He came in the window promised, and inspected the AC system thoroughly and went over everything he did with me. He provided an estimate for their maintenance program and recommended updates or repairs. He even hung a page for tracking of future service or repairs to the HVAC system. Overall, it was a professional and friendly experience. I found their prices for regular maintenance contracts too expensive, but I would call them again if I had a problem.

I was very pleased in all areas of the service. The estimate for water heater replacement was very very high from my knowledge of such service. The cost would be the only reason I would not use their service.

Excellent experience. Appointment was made courteously over the phone, received a reminder text. They had a cancellation on the day of service and called to see if they could come early. Was prompt, courteous, and answered all of my questions in detail. Provided some advice to prolong the life of my heater.

The inspection revealed some parts that were failing, we did not replace them right away and sure enough within a few weeks one of the parts failed leaving us without one of our units operating. We called Sila and they came and did the work needed in a prompt manner.

It went very well. Dan arrived on time. He was here for the routine heater check up. I bought the $65.00 service check because I have a service contract, but I had used the heater check last year. Dan arrived started the check and told me a part called the blower capacitor ( I think that was the name) was about to fail. It was going to cost > $225.00. I then mentioned I still had a service contract so fortunately it was covered. Since the unit is about 10 years old he suggested I not allow the service plan to lapse. I was going to get both the heater and AC plan but the price had gone up significantly! ($163.00) So I purchased just the heater service contract. Overall I am very satisfied with the service. I have been using Sila for 2 1/2 years. I might have to shop around for my next service plan in the spring,I am not sure what to do. But Sila is really good. They even took the $65.00 I had paid for this check up off the cost of the service agreement. Sila is a good company, responsive and on time!

We bought an Angie's List "Big Deal" for this job. Once I bought it I sent a quick message to the company and they responded promptly and we quickly set up a time for the service. On the day of service, they called to confirm and John showed up promptly and got right to work. In addition to the tune up, I told him about a new rattling sound that we had noticed and he investigated it, found a loose screw and fixed it right up. Sila put in our system and we've always had great luck with their service people, office people etc. Always a pleasure to work with

I have used Sila 3 times. The first time they replaced a capacitor in my Compressor unit in August of 2012. The next time they replaced the fan motor & fan blade in July of 2013. Today, September 17 2013 they told me the capacitor had to be replaced again. A capacitor's life should be 3 years, not 1. The workmanship they employ is awful. The technician was rude and offensive on the phone. In addition, they do not disclose to you when you call that there is a $120 service fee, so even if you don't want the service done, you have to pay them. These people are the worst! I will never use them again, and use every possible opportunity to tell people how bad they are.

All in all I think it went pretty well. Service man arrived a little late, but not enough to complain about. I have no idea whether the part he said needed replacing on the A/C truly did need replacing-but I trusted his opinion. Sila ended up charging me for the service call that was supposed to be part of the "Big Deal" but a phone call cleared that up and they quickly refunded me the amount I was over-charged. I have had friends use this company in the past and they've been happy as well, so I will most likely use Sila in the future.

Purchased the deal when it first was published and asked over three times to have Sila call us. The returned one email saying they would be in touch but never followed up. I asked one last time and nothing.

They did a good job, came on time, wore "booties" over shoes in house. Did try to sell me a service contract but didn't push when I said I wasn't interested.

Came out first time as promised. Did not do the tune- up because determined unit needed to be replaced. Told us to call to set up appointment for estimate of new unit. Took a while to connect with the salesman,about a week,but eventually did come out to give estimate. Estimate is fair, will probably give them the job. We would like the 65.00 tune -up fee to be deducted from the total bill.

the service was ok, but ran into a costly issue

Gentleman from Sila came to my house cleaned the heat pump and added coolant. After all this I still didn't have air conditioning. Gentleman from Sila came back out to my house, checked the heat pump over thoroughly and said that the unit worked fine and there was basically nothing more he could do for me. I still didn't have any air conditioning. I called a second company out and that gentleman also told me that the unit worked fine and there was nothing he could do for me. Third time was the charm. I called a third company, the gentleman came out and immediately diagnosed the problem. He ordered a part, installed it and the air conditioner on my heat pump has been working great ever since. Sila completely missed the problem. I think Sila is a good company, they do good work but unfortunately they missed the mark this time when I needed them most. I would have given Sila a C rating except for we had a very, very hot summer and my family, pets and I spent most of it without air conditioning. I also thought Sila was a little over priced.

$65 for End of Season A/C Tune-Up or an Early Bird Furnace Tune-Up-they were ontime, did inspection and explained what is wrong with the A/C UNIT.Needed to replace. i did not use their services as i had purchased HSA warranty services.

I have used Sila in the past, and as usual, the customer service is first-rate, both on the phone and in person. The people who answer the phone are always polite, friendly, and responsive. The technician was prompt, polite, neat, knowledgeable, and efficient. I love the fact that they put covers on their shoes when they enter the house! The only thing that could have been better is having the type of filter we use on the truck so that the filter could be changed in the same visit. But it was relatively easy to schedule a follow-up visit to change the filter, which took only a few minutes. I highly recommend Sila, especially for high-velocity systems.

The installers arrived on time and completed a day early. Very happy with service and they were not very intrusive. Asked where to install air handlers and remote controls.

Serviceman arrived on time. Checked and tuned up furnace.

I was impressed with my experience with Sila from start to finish. It was easy to make an appointment and they accommodated my schedule. The technician was on time and respected my home by wearing covers over his boots. He informed me of the condition of my units and made some recommendations without being overbearing. He serviced the units and left me with clear paperwork. It didn't take him long, but I felt he was thorough.

Worker arrived on time and was very polite and professional. Serviced the unit inside and out, then gave a detailed report.

They were great to work with. They were extremely tidy and clean. The workmen very much respected our home and property. It was a timely process from start to finish. They estimated properly and everything went as they said it would.

We had an excellent experience with SILA and would use them again. They provided detailed information about alternative products and their range of services. They negotiated a reasonable price, and worked to offer a price less than or comparable to competitors. The service was very professional. The work was done well, on time. We were kept infomed of plans, and they accommodated our schedule. We have had no problems with the furnace or air conditioner since they were installed. Their prices were higher than some other options, but it was justified by the product and service.
