Sila Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical

All of the Sila representatives were very professional and courteous. They performed the work as contracted. The technician took the time to physically show me the issues present in my furnace and explain the problems thoroughly. I have had other companies out to service this same system in the past and they have said the same thing but it always felt like they were either doing me a favor by being there or they were trying to oversell with pushy tactics. Sila did a great job across the board, they shared the necessary information and allowed me to make an informed decision. As such, they were awarded the business of replacing the entire HVAC unit. The company culture of quality and respect is evident across the board.

It went well. The tech cleaned out my current heater and gave me advice on getting my ancient system replaced. I'm hoping it will last until the spring when I'll have some extra money to get it done. I'll probably use them for inspections in the future.

It went very well. Sila was expensive, but worth it. They arrived on time, did professional work, and cleaned up very well after themselves.

he was on time and professional. Could not finish first time here - he needed parts, etc and we had a credit as the 2 ours were not used totally. When he came back - he did the work, needed to leave during for parts - his team did not give him what he requested and then - without notice - charged me for about $1000 for time spent - no warning, no notice.... The billing folks made an adjustment as a result which was appreciated however at $200/ for general plumbing - I will pass. Sila was professional but I will move on

hris arrived on time and immediately set to work replacing my non-working garbage disposal and disconnecting a kitchen sink filter. He was professional and personable and I would not hesitate to use his services again.

I get the impression that they don't actually want to repair heaters. It seems that they just want to sell new heaters.

It was fine. They issue was they did the tune up but they gave a recommendation of changing the hoses a little bit and when they did that they forget to add some space for my filter. Now it’s a hassle to actually put my filter in and out. I feel they should have given some space and they should have known better. Persons should be upfront in what they are getting and makes sure everything is done as expected. I sent them and couple of voicemail and they didn't get back to me.

Went very well. Serviceman came on time and identified problem, obtained replacement and installed quickly.

Partially completed job. Tech advised that parts were too brittle to work with, and furnace needed to be replaced. Company called me multiple times soliciting (want to sell me new furnace). i had another company come out to look at the furnace. They completed the maintenance, and the furnace is running fine.

Sila Heating and Air Conditioning responded immediately. They were professional, asked questions before inspection, explained in detail the problem. Repaired and replaced parts, in my opinion, went above and beyond. price was excellent. I rate tem an A.

They come every year. They are fine, prompt, they show up for appointments.

The best plumbing experience ever. SILA is now our go-to plumbing service until the end of time. Our plumber was professional, effective, courteous, prompt, respectful and then cleaned up afterwards. 10 stars !

It went as planned. All work was completed as expected and in a timely manor. This company is always very professional and keeps the job site clean. They do not leave any mess for me to clean when the work is done.

We installed high velocity central air in our 100 year old house several years ago, but were unable at the time to extend the system to our family room. And even though the room has heat, it is often cold in the winter. We had heard that this Mini split from Mitsubishi could solve those problems, and were very happy when we saw the deal offered by Sila. Everyone involved in the project from the John who came to inspect the site and explain the requirements to the two workers who did the actual installation were great. The AC part system has worked beautifully to cool our family room quietly and efficiently during this very hot and humid summer, and we are looking forward to the heating system keeping our family warm during the winter months.

Furnace was 30 years old and needed to be replaced. Sila gave us good options but we ended up going with someone else. Would hire again.

Communication was good; arrived on time. No work was really performed except for some minor testing. Told us that we had a dinosaur of a furnace and recommended replacing. OK, fair enough. Gave estimates for replacing some parts but told us not to put any money into the furnace. Could have done more to help us get more life out of the working furnace rather than just recommending getting a new one.

Service took about 30 mins. Gave me a window of 3 hours and called 25 mins before coming so I didn't have to take off work. Overall very good.

They were fine. I guess they are just not reasonably priced compared to their competitors. The estimate was $2,000 over the cost of their competitors.

First time getting a tune-up done on my HVAC/AC unit. The person who performed the job was friendly and answered all of my questions patiently. He was overall great!

The office staff scheduling the consultation were very courteous. The morning of the visit, I received a call from the technician schedule to visit my home asking about the work I wanted done. He then told me it was a difficult job that would cost at least $10K. I already had quotes for much less ($2-3K) from companies that actually came to my house, so it was pretty obvious he had no interest in making a visit. He even had the nerve when I told him not to bother to come to ask me to call his office and cancel. I won't contact Sila again.

They were late. They had to cancel an appointment and had to reschedule. I am supposed to get a discount because of that.

I recently had to bring another company into to address a unit that was leaking coolant. It was explained to me that coolant escaped because the caps were too loose. This was previously serviced by Sila.
