Description of Work: They were polite and professional, but my heater no longer works and I had to call someone else and they said I had a carbon build up but i thought this company was supposed to do that.

Description of Work: I am somewhat ambivalent about how to write this review. First, everyone I spoke to or encountered from Sila was extremely personable and professional. I was very impressed. The crew that came over to do the maintenance check on my furnace was equally personable and I assume that the maintenance check was done well and professionally. However, my issue was with the company's estimate for the work that needed to be completed. The crew found two issues that compromised the performance of my system. They quoted me $1000 for one job and $2000 for the second. The quoted price included a service contract fee that came with a discount on the work. Although I was stunned, this is my furnace and if work needs to be done then I am going to have it done by a professional. I am, however, committed to having work completed for a fair price. I got a number of additional estimates on the work and all of the estimates were significantly lower than the price quoted by Sila. I eventually had all of the work done -- and done well -- for a small fraction of the cost. Everyone who came to give an estimate was equally stunned by the Sila quote and reported that the quote seemed exploitative.
