They couldn’t have been more professional and clean. Came back to put in new thermostat a few moths later. Walked me through it. Very courteous and respectful. Also followed CDC guidelines for masking. Compared to my previous heating and A/C contractor, Sila is world’s better. Their people just are a higher caliber; they don’t show up smoking cigarettes or take multiple smoke breaks. They are dressed clean and neat and have pride in their work. I’m very happy. James just left after installing the new thermostat and made sure to turn off the programmable features because I had said I dislike that. My previous contractor basically left the book and left it to me to figure out. Don’t hesitate to hire Sila.

The staff in the office as well as Ed, the estimator that came out, were great and completely professional. They made me feel comfortable and took the time needed to answer all questions that I had. While I did not have them do the work, I would not hesitate considering them for future projects. Since I had to choose between two top rated companies, I went with another contractor simply based on a few points that were important to me.

I first called Sila to repair my a/c. I had told them the "heat pump was not reversing to push the ac and was only pushing heat weather we turned on the heat or ac." They sent a technician to fix the problem. He told me we needed a new thermostat. He had one in the truck for about $550. I went online and saw that the same exact thermostat was $109. I asked why they had such a high markup and he told me I could talk to the manager. I called the manager and asked the same question. I can understand marking up a product for the convenience but charging 5x the value or a 400% markup was ridiculous. So I ordered one online and paid for them to come back and install, saving me $300. When the same technician returned, he told me "the reversing valve was fried and need replacing" which was going to cost me about $2000. How did I go from needing a new thermostat to a big repair? I called the manager and expressed my disappointment. I paid for 2 service calls, neither of which did anything but diagnose a new problem each time. He said it was impossible to really know what was wrong on the first visit because I did not have a working thermostat. I lost all confidence in Sila and called Delta, who was referred to me by a trusted person in the business. I was suppose to call Delta first but because I had worked with Sila in the past I called them instead. What a mistake! Dimo from Delta T came. I told him Sila's diagnosis and asked for a quote. 30 minutes later, Dimo was able to fix the ac. He checked the reversing valve and found there was nothing wrong with it. After some investigating he saw that the new thermostat was not wired to talk to the furnace. He rewired the thermostat, programmed it following the manufacturers instructions (which apparently, Sila never did), and now I have a working ac. (that was the shorten version of what he wrote on my invoice). Instead of paying $2000 for Sila to repair, I paid $125 for Delta T to repair. I would not recommend Sila if you need help with your ac. They have huge mark ups for their products but more importantly was not able to fix my ac. It was quite a shady experience that I would not recommend to anyone. It was like the old school used car salesman experience where they try to sell you on things you didn't really need. I'm never calling Sila again. I'm calling Delta T.

It went very well. Shawn was very knowledgeable and willing to discuss my questions about my a/c system in a friendly manner. I will use Sila again for my Heating and A/C service.

I was having problems with my basement toilet. It kept clogging and when we snaked it ourselves we kept pulling out roots. But it was not getting better! So I called Sila and they sent Anthony out to take a look. He got the drain unclogged and sent a scope down the line to take a video. The video was amazing. I could see where the roots (really fine, but so many after time) could grow in between the joints and cause a serious clog. The toilet was also cracked from it sitting on an uneven concrete floor, so Anthony came back and installed a new one. The whole experience was new to me (1st time homeowner) but it was a good experience because Anthony and Kara and the plumbing team are totally professional, experienced and courteous. I would highly recommend using Sila for plumbing issues.

The technician was on time, answered all of my questions, and gave me my options. It went as smooth as you can hope any home repair to. William the tech was very knowledgeable and professional. Because of him I would definitely use them again.

James was an excellent technician; punctual, friendly, and professional. One AC unit needed cleaning and the other needed coolant added.

It was first time installing this type and some wires were crossed but they came out the next day to quickly fix the problem.

It required 2 visits as problem remained after 1st attempt. The technician returned promptly after I called back, re-diagnosed and repaired, provided a free pound of refrigerant as courtesy for necessity of 2nd visit. James was knowledgeable, courteous and professional.

The technician was friendly and he focused on the smaller of my two HVAC units as requested. Afterwards, I noticed he jammed a larger air filter than fit into the system's slot, a 16" x 25" x 1" instead of a 16" x 24" x 1". One side of the air filter was curled to compensate. That, plus shortcomings I had noticed on previous service calls, including a new condensation pump I purchased for its shut-off feature that was not even connected when installed, requiring a second visit to install it, precludes me from hiring or recommending Sila again.

Excellent! Punctual, courteous and competent. Shawn gave my system a thorough check inside and out and did not rush through it. He cleaned up the work areas so that I wouldn’t have known he was here. He also took very careful Covid precautions. And he was nice to my dog (always a plus!)

We love Sila! We have been using them for service for a long time and have been very satisfied. Last winter our heating system died. Sila came out immediately and recommended a new system. They gave us such a fair price we decided to replace heater and AC. They were able to replace both systems the next day and offered us financing! I recommended him to my brother and he used them to replace both of his systems. Very satisfied customers!!
