They are prompt and honest, provide courteous service, and are always quick to respond when you have an emergency. They didn?t charge me anything for the latest job that they did.

Outdoor central A/C ccompressor stopped working on 10 year old unit.Because of previous history, we had called and requested an estimate on a new A/C unit. Salesman Paul came out and suggested that a technician come and troubleshoot the existing system. Technician came out and discovered that the wires had been chewed and he replaced them. Paul could have sold us the new system without our questioning it but instead he opted to suggest a MUCH less expensive fix. People were courteous and professional. They either removed their shoes or used shoe covers. They were prompt and very responsive to our needs. We have multiple pets and the technician was very careful to not let them out of the house. He also caulked the area that the mice were entering. This was never done by the original installer when he first put the system in and then came out several years later and had found mice in that area. Someone you can trust~~~~priceless!

At first, they had quoted a price which was 30% higher than other companies and when asked why, the estimator stated that his cost was based on a unit that was much more expensive. He chose to base it on the old unit which was outfitted for a restaurant. I believe he should have given me more options for less expensive systems but he was easy enough to work with at the end of the day. When I asked him to quote me a price based on the cheaper unit that another company had quoted me on, he matched the price dollar for dollar. This did make me feel a bit skeptical but I was very happy with the actual work. The work was done in 2 days w/ 2 workers and a foreman who would come to check the work at the end of the day. They were very clean and neat and prompt! The foreman was very patient and thorough in explaining every aspect of their work. I was glad at the end of the day that they were able to match another bid and even worked out some payment plans for me. Everything was handled professionally from the scheduling of the job to the completion of the job.

Neal came on time and was extremely professional and knowledgable, he was very patient with me and answered all my questions so i could easily understand. i appreciate his approach and never did i feel that i was being pushed into a decision. i would highly recommend this company and if i do replace my boiler..i will use this company.

I ended up going with another company, but Unique Indoor Comfort had a wonderful presentation. The material they presented was great, and their follow-up was good as well. Their prices were higher than I had hoped, but I would certainly consider a bid from them in the future.

This was an incredible experience. From the beginning, Paul and Nate were professional and courteous. We had five different contractors come out and do an estimate for this project, with an investment this big we wanted to make sure we did it right. They were the only ones that did a formal heat load calculation on the house and they actually recommended a much smaller system than anybody else, therefore saving us thousands of dollars. They took a lot of time explaining the system and following up to be sure everything was correct. When they had a problem with a sub-contractor (the ones that removed the old furnace), Paul and his manager came out the same day and personally corrected everything. Going geothermal was a big step and a big investment. We wanted to be sure we went with a company we could trust, that knew what they were doing and that would take care of any problems. With Unique, they are putting their name and reputation on the line and it shows in their customer service. From the beginning to the end we were very happy. I would highly, highly recommend them to anyone.

I am looking for a High Velocity system. Unique showed up. Eyeballed the work. Sent me a bid. I did not think the bid had sufficient detail. I am awaiting their reply to my questions. Bid. seemed in the ball park. Will make choice within next 3 weeks.

Initially, we called the company that installed the furnace, but he was really busy, so I called Unique. They were wonderful, once again. I have used them many times in the past. The first guy misdiagonosed the issue with the furnance, so their policy is to send a service manager to look at the problem. He was able to solve the issue and was very helpful. They were very nice to deal with.

We obtained estimates from 4 companies (all on Angie's list). Unique was the only company whose representative (Adam) made follow-up calls to see if we needed addl' info or had made a decision, without pressure, I might add. Their price was right in the middle of all the quotes we received (not lowest, not the highest). We preferred the brand of equipment they proposed installing over two of the other proposals and the foreman also said they would try to repipe the compressor lines to the main furnace unit (no other company believed it was possible due to the two story distance). They scheduled the work to be completed over two days, and then to our delight, brought out a double crew and finished it in one day! The crew arrived very punctually. The workers were very professional, clean and neat, laying drop cloths throughout the pathway they had to navigate to bring out the old equipment and install the new. Our upper story deck had just had a rubber membrane installed and they responded to our concern about excessive weight and possible puncturing by bringing in plywood sheets which they laid down in order to distribute the weight over the deck surface. They WERE able to replumb the lines from the compressor and did so by cutting an access hole in our ceiling (agreed to in advance) and then putting in a small trap door to allow future access. Almost invisible, I might add and will greatly facilitate any future maintenance. Finally, when replumbing the lines, they brought them through a storage shed on our deck, but in the process, blocked access to the recirculating water heater for my upstairs bathroom soaking tub (we did not realize this until after the crew left). We called them a few days later and asked them to fix it. Within 2 days, they came back out-- drained the lines, reran the lines and started up the system again. I could not have asked for better, more professional or responsive service and I plan to recommend them to anyone who asks for a referral in the future.

They did a very good job and I was very satisfied with their quality of service. They were very professional, responsive and punctual. They also cleaned up everything after the work was done. I have signed a general maintenance contract with them and would recommend them to others as well.

On a busy Monday during an unexpected early season heatwave, these guys came the same day and were consummate professionals from start to finish. On the phone and in person they were very pleasant and knowledgeable. The work was finished quickly and efficiently and everything runs fine now. Really couldn't be more pleased and look forward to recommending them to friends.

Looks like some people had a different experience, but as far as I am concerned these guys were amateurs. NOTE: My price is a guess as to what the previous owners paid for the furnace. I will try to dig up the invoice and put in an exact amount.

They provided an exceedingly good service. They are a little bit on the pricey side, but we believe that the work that they did was worth it. They came in and knew exactly what they needed to do and did it. They cleaned up well too.

They had given me an estimate and had also cleaned up after themselves. Their service was good.

Unique Indoor Comfort did a great job with the work.

We contacted Unique Indoor Comfort on a Tuesday morning regarding our flaky furnace. The heat had been coming on only intermittently and we were concerned about it dying completely. We were told that someone would be out between 3 and 6 pm, and then called us back to let us know that the repairperson would arrive around 4:30. Michael Francis arrived at 4:30 and was very pleasant and professional. He diagnosed the problem as a faulty flame sensor, stated that he had one in the truck, and told us that it would be $250 for the part and labor to replace it, in addition to the $89 charge for the service call. We agreed and let him know that we had a $30 Angie's List coupon, which he accepted with no problems. The work was completed quickly and efficiently, and the heater has been working perfectly since.

It went excellently. We are very pleased with our gas bills. There was a minor problem with the thermostat, but they were here within an hour. That was remarkable for the holidays. They explained everything about how to use the new thermostat. Everything is working perfectly.

Unique's sales professional, Michael Gill, responded promptly to my request for an estimate to replace my old heating and A/C units. He came and made an inspection of the house, including measurements needed to perform a J-load calculation. He came back with proposals for two systems that differed in the efficiency of the furnaces. Both were more efficient than the old units they were to replace. I appreciated that he did not try to sell me a larger furnace than was needed, and that the heat pump/air conditioner utilizes Puron. I selected the less expensive unit, which had advantages over two similar proposals that I had received from other companies, but still cost less than those. Micheal answered all my questions, and worked with me to solve particular needs regarding the placement of the heat pump/air conditioner, and my need for a service contract that included an existing roof-top A/C unit. Prior to beginning installation, Micheal came back with Dan, one of Unique's engineers, to assess the existing heating and A/C units and plan the installation, including designing a new more efficient air handling plenum, and hook-up to the flue. The work crew showed up on time, and Dan supervised the major part of the installation. The work crew was very careful, to lay drop cloths over areas in the house through which they passed, and they cleaned up fully before they left. The installation was done very well and was finished in one day. The only snag was that Dan had to leave before the thermostat hook up was completed. The new thermostat worked, and the gas furnace and air conditioner operated, properly. However, the head of the work crew did not know how to wire the thermostat to switch between the heat pump and gas back-up. This was on a Friday, and, therefore, Dan had to come back the following Monday morning and complete that part of the job. I did not consider this to be a serious problem because the gas furnace performed normally, and we were not lacking heat over the weekend. Dan came promptly on Monday morning, and spent over an hour fixing the thermostat issue, and checking out all operations to make sure that everything was working properly. While the new units have only been in place for a few days, I'm very satisfied with the service that I've received from Unique.

They only replaced "power heat" to my furnace and charged me a lot of money. They were only working on this for 45 minutes to an hour max charging me 503.00! I felt that they way over charged me for this amount of work.

They were very prompt, polite and were able to come in a few days after contacting them.

He was able to repair it with low cost. He came when he said he was going to. The other company I had called said that they would have to just put a whole new unit in. Unique Indoor Comfort was able to come and fix it right away and it has worked for two more summers now. They were just a pleasure to work with.

We live in an older home with central heating/air. The vent system was outdated and inefficient and we were dealing with highly uneven air distribution throughout the house. Unique worked with us over an extended time period, with multiple site visits to come up with a solution that was smart and cost efficient. A problem like we had could have been solved in multiple ways and it could have been very easy for them to recommend a costly system upgrade (as other vendors did) however they worked with us to identify a creative solution that solved our problem at a fair price. The installation team was polite and efficient. Daily site visits were performed by the lead engineer to ensure that the team was on track with the plan. We are really pleased with the outcome!

They were thorough in checking heating and air conditioning. Their price might have been a little high though. But their service was timely and thorough.

We called Unique to come out and diagnose our 30-year-old A/C compressor, which would not turn on. A tech came to our house at the appointed hour, replaced a part, and charged us $300. The following day, the compressor failed again, and we determined that we needed to replace the compressor. Unique sent a friendly sales person to our home on a Saturday, and we decided on a system and price ($3,400 for a high-efficiency Lennox system). Techs replaced the compressor two days later. Though the installation went smoothly (and the new system works very well), the workers made a mess and dirtied the carpet outside of the room where they had roof access. To their credit, Unique offered to pay a cleaning bill, but, in my mind, the mess should not have happened in the first place (no sign of the vaunted "booties"). Lastly, we did not receive credit for the failed $300 repair, even though the failure occurred a day after Unique worked on the system. Others here have reported that Unique gave them such a credit, and it would have been the right thing to do.
