Sila Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical

Sila did excellent work on both my heating and cooling systems. They were competitively priced and all the work was completed quickly and efficiently. The heating work was an oil to gas conversion that included a new gas boiler and water heater, as well as removal of oil fueled boiler and tank. The cooling work was for a high velocity AC system, including the running of the ducts from my attic down to every room in my house.

I selected Sila based on their high Angi ratings. This project was a challenge for Sila. The estimator made some assumptions that didn't work out once the project started. I wanted the high efficiency heating system and routing the exhaust wasn't going to work as planned. Sila installed regular heating units so my AC was working (project was done in July). Once we figured out a viable exhaust path for the high efficiency heating, they came back and sapped the heating units out. This was all done at the same cost as the original estimate. There was a lot of discussion about what to do and Sila lived up to their promises. Commendable. The crew were great to work with and kept the area neat. The system has been working very well.

I saw a special for an outdoor hose bib replacement. Mine was leaking so I took up the offer. Someone from Sila contacted me the following morning and I had an appointment scheduled for the following day. The tech arrived, assessed the situation, and had to go back to the shop for an additional part. All in the all the service time was around 2 hours. Its been 6 months or so and everything has been great so far.

Elias was wonderful. He arrived in the allotted time frame. He came with a mask and shoe covering. He was pleasant and friendly. After he was able to provide me with additional information about the best filters to use when you have cats and allergies.

James was efficient, knowledgable and courteous. He also went the extra mile to solve a problem tangentially related to the heat pump. Service on that level is not the norm these days, and I appreciate it very much when I encounter it.

It went well. Sola was offering a heater Tune up special for $59. I thought it was going to be more. You know those specials go, but the tune up was promptly and appropriately done for $59.

Very well as usual. The quality of work and calibre of customer service provided consistently by SILA is great. When it comes time to replace my heating and air conditioning system I will absolutely use them.

Greg was prompt, courteous and thorough. He took the time to walk us through the maintenance he was performing on our furnace and thoughtfully answered and all of our questions.

Both heaters was checked. Technician found the heater exchange cracked. He shoot off systems. We are waiting insurance company to verify the findings.

I have been using Sila for over 10 years. They installed a new system about 2 years ago and did an amazing job. I have a service plan with them too which includes seasonal maintenance and cleaning. They send out a reminder to schedule it in the spring and fall. In spring of this year and also today Hong was the technician that came out to do the work. He is always on time, always professional and does a very thorough and excellent job on the system. Thank you Hong!!!

Mr. Hong was the most thorough of all the Sila personnel. I have been impressed with all the Sila workers but Mr. Hong was the first to totally clean the inside of the water gauge so that it was spotless and I could see the water level with my aging eyes. I would never go anyplace but Sila for plumbing and heating problems.

The experience was great. James was extremely professional and courteous. He was efficient but through in explaining what he covered with minimal disruption to my husband and I who are working at home due to COVID. Mask and booties worn at all times. Was fast and easy. Shawn was professional and took all precautions for entering our house. We have a complex boiler so signed up for the maintenance plan to help.

I've been using Sila and its predecessor company for more than 25 years. They are not inexpensive, but the qulity has been great and so has the maintenance service. I'm about to hire them to do additional work. Highly recommended.
