Description of Work: All windows in my house were replaced, as well as a pair of French doors, which were replaced by a slider. The team was fast and coordinated, and the job was done within about six hours--surprised even them, I think. They focused on the job and cleaned up afterward very carefully.

Description of Work: They quoted us on 4 replacement sliding door units. After the salesman wrote out the quote, he offered to take $1000.00 off if we signed immediately. This is a sales tactic that Angie's List specifically warns against when screening vendors. Further, he stated that while their product is a little pricey, and we might find another vendor quoting a few thousand less, we wouldn't find a quality product for half the price. With a little research and negotiation, we did.

Description of Work: They replaced s sliding glass door for me. When we took the old door out they found a lot of damage. They did an awesome job in fixing everything. I was told by one of the larger home stores that we had to special order a door to fit but renewal by Anderson did not. They used s standard door and built up around it. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: Installed three 48" by 30" casement replacement windows. Although the windows are very high quality and the installation tech was outstanding, |I believe the cost of these windows are way over priced.

Description of Work: They gave me an estimate on 5 small windows. The salesman was late. I was told beforehand that the price would be locked in for 6months, but the salesman gave me 3 different prices based on whether I bought that day, within 1 month or within 6months. Shady business practices.

Description of Work: We had 13 windows replaced. The price quoted initially was over $20,000 and after negotiation and, supposedly, discounts applied,each window installed cost close to $1300.00. We are happy with the windows, but feel the cost was out of line.

Description of Work: Called for a quote to replace 6 windows. Explained they only sell the best replacement window. Went through the whole process, would not show up unless my wife was present. Showed me the price but wanted a contract singed right then. I told him I wanted to look around. I asked for a copy of the quote and he wrote the price on a business card. I didn't care for the pressure sales tactics and the fact he would not leave me a quote explaining everything they would do. It may be a good product and we have 18 other anderson windows that we replaced a few years ago so wanted similar windows but was turned off by the approach.

Description of Work: We used Renewal by Anderson to replace 5 windows in our home recently. The sales pitch is very long but thorough. I understand windows are an expensive and major purchase but I did feel it was strange that they would only come out if my wife and I were both present. It was not an issue for us to schedule a day when we were both there but if it was I am not sure we would have purchased. The sales woman who came to our home was very friendly and passionate about windows. We live in an older house and wanted windows that fit our odd shaped openings and kept the look of the original windows we were replacing. We liked that Anderson measured and custom made windows that fit our exact specifications. Our sales woman also took care in explaining all our options and making suggestions to ensure we were creating the perfect window to keep our house looking like it still had original windows. After we agreed on the contract we were scheduled to have a final measurement done before the final order went in. He was also extremely knowledgeable and told us what to expect on installation day. Installation day was successful with no issues. The crew was professional, prompt and clean. When installation was complete I was given a tutorial on how to properly open, close and care for the windows. We have had the windows now for a few months and they look great! Looking forward to using them in the future for the replacement of the remaining original windows of our house.

Description of Work: The website says we service south Jersey but when I called the company, I got an automatic recording and was told to put in my zip code. Once I put in my zip code I was told that I was not able to use this provider since they did not service my area. This company may need to better define what "South Jersey" means

Description of Work: Jason and his team were very professional in they worked efficiently yet carefully to ensure each window was done correctly. They arrived each morning on time, were very respectful of our property and cleaned up well at the end of each day. My wife felt safe with them working in the home and was very comfortable leaving the home while they were inside working. We have a 10 year old son with Autism and our biggest concern during the installation was for his safety. Normally our doors are always locked as he considers it an opportunity to “explore the world “if he sees an open door. We explained our concern to the team and they were great about closing the doors and being aware if they saw him outside without one of us. I can’t tell you how much we appreciated their accommodating our unique circumstance. We are already enjoying the increased comfort and warmth of our new Anderson windows. We didn’t realize how drafty our home was until there was no more draft. We were not the only ones to appreciate this newfound comfort. We have 5 seven foot plus Ficus trees throughout our home. In the early Fall we bring them inside and take them back outside in late Spring. Ficus trees are very sensitive to drafts – ie. their leaves fall off. Each year while in the house these trees lose a significant number of leaves on a weekly basis. We noticed almost immediately that the trees in the areas where the windows had been replaced had not dropped a single leaf. This is a real testimony to the quality of your windows and the expertise of your installers. We would be happy to recommend Anderson windows to anyone as they really do live up to their claim.

Description of Work: We got a new sliding glass door for the kitchen. We had found the company at the recent home show in Oaks, PA. A salesman came out to the house. He was thorough, knowledgeable and personable. The price probably was a bit high, but we went ahead with replacing the sliding glass door. Everything about this company goes like clockwork. Every step that was laid out for us happened as the salesman had said it would. The installers showed up on time and did a professional job. They followed-up with us multiple times to be sure we were happy. In the end we believed that though this company is on the pricey-side, we got good value. Their service is excellent, and I think this company would be an excellent role model for others in similar lines of work, like home remodeling, to follow.

Description of Work: I only had the salesman come to my house. He spent two hours using fear tactics to sell his windows. The windows are not very attractive and are way overpriced.
