They're great,I found them professional , I will use them again in the future.

He has not completed any projets yet. However, I spoke to him yesterday regarding several of the projects. He is very accommodating and professional. He listens carefully, and made a number of money saving suggestions. He works with his wife, and they both are extremely knowledgeable. During our meetings he has been very child friendly, which I truly appreciate. So far, I am very impressed.

I called the number after seeing his review on Angie's List. I got a recording. They called later, but I was out. They called again in the morning & explained what I needed. Lou showed up at 4 pm - he had just finished another job and was on his way home. We spent 15-20 minutes walking around the property while I explained what I wanted. He repeated everything back and asked questions, and made suggestions. In the end, we were both clear on what I wanted. I went back inside while he took about ten minutes to determine his estimate. Estimate: $460. He said it would take about a day (7-8 hours) depending on the weather. [You must understand, this was just after Lee & Marie had just flooded about everything in NE Pa. Also, it continued to rain every day. This is now the wettest September on record.) He began immediately, since it was only about 4:30 pm. He came two other times for part of the day and we were completely rained out on another day. So, all told, it took four days working between cloud bursts. It looks beautiful. My yard went from looking like Africa USA to neat and trim! Final Cost: $460. I was so happy with the work that I discussed another project I have in mind, but didn't know how to proceed. Lou suggested pavers, which I never thought of, and I knew immediately that was the answer I had been looking for. I told him right on the spot that I what him to put me on his "To Do" list. Due to the weather, etc., I told him I didn't care whether it was two weeks from now or next Spring. I highly recommed this man.

It's incredibly hard to get a returned phone call from Mrs. Vitucci. Because of the good reviews I saw from their previous clients, I thought this would be the right company for my home. Unfortunately, voicemails were answered days later, and when I finally got someone to call me back, I was at dinner with my wife and Mrs. Vitucci said something like "he can come right now but that's the only time for the remainder of this week". Disappointed, I asked for another appointment for the following week. She requested that I call back early next week. When I did, it was much of the same. No returned call for 4 days, which prompted me to call Scranton Landscaping. By the time Mrs. Vitucci called me back, Scranton landscaping had spent 2 whole days in my yard and were paid in full. Although I cannot testify to Vitucci's actual landscaping service, I can very easily say that their responsiveness and customer service is lacking, BIG TIME. If they're too busy, that's understandable. But they should at least make the effort to tell you that before you waste 2-3 weeks waiting for an appointment that never happens

I did not use them because I thought the quoted price was high. I was very pleased with their professionalism, their interest in the job, their prompt response to my call for an estimate and their suggestions.

It went very well.He had 3 people besides himself, they arrived early morning ,took a short lunch break and finished the job.

Lou spent a very good amount of time sizing up the job to come up with a competitive rate. I could tell he cared about what he was doing. Once we agreed to his team doing the job, the work was done perfectly and very quickly. Our landscaping and flower beds look great. Exactly what we needed at a fair price. Very solid vendor.

I travel a lot for work and had a pet/house sitter. I provided the contractor with a key with the agreement that he please call my cell phone the night before he would come to do work so that if I was home or my pet/home sitter was there, no was frigthened or taken by surprise. There were multiple instances where I was never called when he was coming. When he would arrive in the early morning, he would not knock, just use the key and open the door and many times I was still in my pajamas, robe or running out of the shower to see who was entering my home. Neeedless to say, these were very uncomfortable situations. He did this to my pet/house sitter as well and she was so upset, she quit on me. A friend then covered pet sitting duties and almost called the police because again the contractor never notified me he was coming to work. Once I came in the room where he and a worker of his were supposed to be painting and I found the worker asleep on the floor. When he awoke, he said he needed a nap. I had a puppy at the time and asked the contractor to close the door behind him so that the puppy never got out and sure enough I spent a hour trying to catch the puppy in the neighborhood after he left the door open. Since he was slow in working, I painted half of the foyer, living room and hallway. I never received an estimate (my fault that I allowed him to start working without it). I bought half of the paint and supplies and the bathroom work was never completed. Cracks appeared in the walls and ceiling after he painted where there were no cracks to begin. So for painting half a small foyer, half a living room about 18X24 feet and half a hallway (and I bought half the supplies), he charged me almost $3000. I lost my pet sitter over it. He came into my home whenever he wanted without calling or knocking after I asked multiple times not to do (also spoke to his wife about this issue). I almost lost my dog over his negligence. He did not complete the work on time and the cost I feel for all that was beyond outrageous. The worst event was 2 nights before Thanksgiving when I went to Virginia to take my sister for her first chemotherapy session for colon cancer. I told him that my dog would be in the house and that the pet sitter would be over. He never notified me or the pet sitter of the time he would be there and the pet sitter was quite upset because there was quite a mess in the home (according to the pet sitter) by the contractor and she feared my dog might have gotten into something. An argument between the 2 began. I received a call from the contractor down in Virginia at 8 pm that night complaining about the pet sitter and stating that he didn't know the dog would be there. My pet sitter said that when I got home, she would never go through this again. All this happened during a tragic time in the life of my family. The painting job was not worth the cost, lost of my dog pet sitter, almost lost my dog and all this occurred during the cancer treatment of my sister during the holiday season.
