LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THESE GUYS. They are punctual, professional, courteous and friendly. Did a fabulous job and cleaned up after the work was finished. I would hire them again and highly recommend their service. I got prices from other companies for the same job and some were more than double the price I paid for Masters Electrical Service.

They were on time and did the work professionally.

Ever since he installed the TESLA charging station he was hired to do, I had problems with it. The car was not charging properly and the cable was overheating. Finally, Tesla serviceman noticed that the electrician installed 60 Amp disconnect switch on the 100 Amp circuit. I contacted Eric Mastay and asked him to rectify the problem. He refused, stating that it has been 14 months since the installation and that his 12 months warranty expired. Therefore, we asked Pennsylvania certified Electrical Inspector to examine this installation. The inspector has proclaimed this installation to be in violation of Pennsylvania Electrical Code. He stated that it is deficient and unsafe an shall be removed and replaced entirely. It is hard to believe that an electrician would make such major mistakes out of ignorance, especially since I provided Mastay with Tesla Wall Connector Installation pamphlet. Most likely he did this out of greed. Although he charged me a lot of money ($1,100 for one day service), he cut corners on materials and workmanship. This is obviously an unscrupulous, low quality electrician and an arrogant man.

He came out and arrived promptly. He was respectful and explained all of the work that was needed. I requested some changes and he was able to incorporate them. He was efficient and always clean up after himself. Will definitely use him again.

Excellent work! There was a little delay up front in getting things scheduled (the work required coordination with the electrical service provider to disconnect service, and the coordination of three schedules proved a bit tricky). But once scheduled, they arrived punctually and did very nice, and relatively neat work as promised. I'm very happy with their work and would recommend them to my neighbors.

Don got back to me after I purchased the $196.00 deal with him on Angies list. We talked about what I needed done and how he would go about it. We scheduled a date and they arrived right on time. Even though he hit a speed bump along the way the job went great. They were respectful, friendly, professional and clean! I would hire them again anytime!

My biggest issue is that I had no live contact from them prior to the appointment. I put down my phone number in each email, message and requested a call to discuss what I needed done. I never had to have an electrician before and had no idea how much the going rate was for it. So in case it was an extensive thing I felt buying four hours of service was the right way to go. Don came with an apprentice who did nothing except go to the van to get a couple parts for him (not even the right parts so he had to make a couple trips because he got the wrong part). He took the cover off the outlet that wasn't working and told me it had a wire disconnected. He reconnected the wire, put on a new cover and that was it. It took about 20 minutes total to do it. He then told me the parts were $30 in addition to the $196 I paid for four hours of service. He suggested I "save" my coupon for a future date and instead pay him the going rate of $125 for two men, one man was $75 but I never had the option of choosing one man and $30 for parts. So getting my outlet reconnected would have cost me $155. Although I have never had to call an electrician before I find these charges high. They could have included the $30 of 'parts' in the fee I already paid since they were here less than one hour and only needed one person to do the job. That outlet cover seemed really expensive for a little piece of plastic. Don was professional enough. I felt the big deal I purchased wasn't such a big deal after all. Would I use them again? No. The biggest reason is that I should have been called to discuss what I needed done. Then perhaps it wouldn't have cost so much to reconnect an outlet.

THEY ARE INCREDIBLE!! For a very long time we were not able to connect fully and schedule a service time (100% my fault). I contacted them in desperate need of fast service, last minute since an unexpected relocation created a need for us to get our house ready to put on the market quickly. After my 911 call to them, they phoned me back immediately and worked us into the schedule. Once here, the guys were amazing. (Incredibly friendly and professional!) The dining room chandelier was installed/replaced quickly...however I felt terrible because the ceiling fans upstairs gave them a great deal of trouble (each one for different reasons). All very frustrating to me but they never lost their calm and kept assuring me that they would get through the problems. They were extremely diligent and their work is fantastic. We love the new dining room fixture and the kids love their new ceiling fans. We will use them again and again...and will definitely recommend them to all of our friends!

Very well. We had a limited window because of a coupon purchased through AL and the electrician managed to get more than I expected done in that time frame.

I purchased the big deal for 4 hours of work at $196. I communicated through email with them which I like since it keeps a record of everything discussed. Good thing I did. I waited a month for them to come out as they were really backed up an booked solid with business. When the day came for them to do the work, 2 electricians came out and the one who was part owner of the company, told me that I would get 2 hours instead of 4 since they had 2 people. I found that kind of interesting since I did not see that stated in the Big Deal, but it made sense I guess. The lead electrician then explained that my list was long and that he would charge me $100/hr for each hour over the 2 that I paid for. I then showed him the email from his business partner to me where he said they would charge $75/hr and he agreed to charge that instead of $100.

Prior to purchasing the special I contacted masters to see how far out they were scheduling. He promptly got back to me and said 2 weeks and then I purchased the special. They contacted me on June 3rd (the day I bought the special) to inquire about what I needed done, address and phone number. I emailed them back on the 4th and have yet to hear from them again. I sent a follow up email on the 9th and left a voice mail on the 12th I will revise my review when they complete the work. If they can't do the work I would like my money back so I can hire someone else

I requested an estimate and an in person visit to make sure the provider knew exactly what needed to be done so that they could make an accurate estimate of the costs. Don made arrangements to come to my home and assure me that the fan would be installed properly at a fair price. Don gave me an estimate and told me the work could be done in less than a day. Don showed up promptly on the scheduled day and after putting down some drop cloths got to work. I asked him if, as part of the installation, he could wire it so that the other switch in the two gang switch which controlled a single receptacle on the front wall of the living room could be eliminated and wired so that the receptacle would be hot all the time, thereby eliminating the need to put in a larger box and making it a three gang switch box. He told me that doing it that way would be an easy fix and that it would shorten the job time considerably. Within a little more than two and a half hours he completely finished the job and the cleanup with a final cost less than the original estimate. I'm not sure how this could have gone any better. The next time I need electrical work done I will call Masters Electrical Service first, last and only.

Overall, they were efficient and quick in their completion of the job. Arrived slightly later than the quoted time. Pleased with the work , would use them again.

It was an excellent experience and they were great.

Both Don and Devin worked as professionals to get the work done, but were pleasant enough to chat from time to time with me. Don even checked on a floodlight insert, showed me how I could change it and approx. cost. I would definitely recommend this company to family and friends. (And any stranger reading this review)

This is the second time we've used Masters Electric and have been very pleased both times. They communicate well, are timely when they schedule an appointment and efficient when they are at the house working. Overall, highly recommended.

Don was great - was very flexible and even came back to our house on a later date after the initial assessment without extra charge (we bought a deal - 4 hours of service for $196).

My experience with Master's Electric was great. They were fast to reply by email and came out quickly after I purchased their deal of 4 hours of electrical service for about $200. I planned on renting out my current house and I wanted someone to inspect the current wiring and make sure everything was safe and up to code for renting. The three way light switch in my basement stopped working and the wiring was a mess (old house). He ran some new wires and replaced one of the light fixtures in the basement. Also, after some shoddy bathroom remodeling by another contractor, my bathroom light got tied into my bedroom light switch. The bathroom light would only turn on when the bedroom light was on. He was able to go into the attic, find the wiring problem and correct it. Lastly, the ceiling fan in my dining room was wobbling a lot. He took it down and noticed that there was not a proper fan box in the ceiling for a fan. We decided to just put a light there instead. I had a spare light in the house from another remodel project and he put the new light up quickly. Overall, a great experience with Master's Electric. I will contact them again for any future electrical needs.

I really liked this guy from Master's. He was knowledgeable, professional and helpful. We discussed other things such as mounting my TV onto the wall and he described several past installation he had done. He even shared pictures of his work. I plan on having him out again to perform the work he suggested. To date, I have had no problems with any of the work done.
