Description of Work: We purchased a Big Deal through Angie's List for four hours of work. They installed three ceiling light fixtures and a bunch of outlets. We had to call them back the same day because when they left, the switch no longer operated the bedroom light fixture that they installed. They did come right back for that. Then later we realized that a switch in the living room that operated an outlet across the room no longer worked. I left them a couple of messages and they were slow in responding to that call. They did come back and take care of that, but they had a really difficult time with something that shouldn't have been that difficult. I think that with a little more experience they might be ok, but for now, I could not recommend them to anyone when they failed on some pretty basic things. | |The other issue that I had was that I have never had a workman in the house that left such a mess. The first day they were in I actually asked my husband if he told them to never mind the mess, just keep working. There were screws, plaster, caps and bits of wire everywhere. There was a big black hand print on the wall next to one of the switches that they replaced and a black smudge next to an outlet. The worst was all of the screws, they were everywhere. They could have damaged my wood floors or caused someone to fall. Then when they came back to fix the other outlet I actually saw him with a broom. But after they left I found some big screws on the rug that they were sitting on and more bits of wire everywhere.

Description of Work: I have used an Angie's list electrician before, and my experience was far superior than to Master's Electrical Service. I asked him to install a few new light switches and he installed them mismatched because it was what he had and he said he would need to charge more to go get a light switch that matched. I get what he was trying to say, but in my previous experiences, the electricians were more focused on doing quality work than on simply finishing the job. He was also a bit rude by blaming me for not understanding the details of the Angie's list deal.

Description of Work: I previously used Master's Electrical Service Company to install recessed LED lighting in my family room and decided to engage them again to install the same lighting in my master bedroom. I also had some outlets replaced. Everything was done within a reasonable amount of time and the quality of the work was/is great.

Description of Work: Fast and neat workers. Evaluated my needs for further electrical work at fair prices. Satisfied.

Description of Work: Had some disconnects trying to have them come out, but once work reviewed they came back when they said they would and performed all work well. Had them do a little more than was covered by special offer, but am happy with their work and they were very professional.

Description of Work: Removed one 220 plug and installed another 220 plug. The work was done well, however they were not very professional as they did the work. Swearing could be heard coming from the basement. Also, they left the garage door and the door to the garage open - letting our indoor cat out. Fortunately, the cat was found quickly and with no harm done.
