Masters Electric came on the day they said they would and arrived promptly after they called to let me know they were coming over, having completed another job in the Mt. Lebanon area. I appreciated that they came when they said they would and didn't simply give me a time range, as some companies do. Eric cleaned the entire inside and outside of the front porch lighting fixture, as some of the metal was corroded, and he suggested an LED bulb for a replacement. He had checked the wiring to make sure there was no problem with wiring. He did not have the bulb we needed, but he went to a nearby hardware store, bought the necessary LED bulb and installed it into the front porch light fixture. All the work was completed in a timely and efficient manner and Eric charged me a reasonable fee for doing it, unlike some electricians would. The men were professional and did their job quickly. I would not hesitate to call on this company again if I need any further electrical work performed.

It took several emails and calls to get the work scheduled but once scheduled, they arrived on time. Although I was clear on the scope of work in my emails, he told me when he arrived that he didn't have time that day for the job since it would take more than the deal that I bought covered. He also explained the job was a 2 man job which would be 2 hours of work instead of 1 man for 4 hours. After some discussion on the ease of access to the attic, he agreed to do the work and I agreed to pay any additional charges. They worked well together, installation was neat and they cleaned up after work was complete. They finished the work in 2 hours and there was no additional charge.

I purchased a big deal, knowing that I was having a problem with two of the four rooms in my badement. Don was quite responsive to both the purchase and scheduling. This cost more than I had hoped, breakers are not cheap, but I can now use the outlets and have lights!

The guys were awesome! We had bought a Big Deal for 4 man-hours of labor, and so because 2 men came, they both worked for 2 hours (as part of the Big Deal service). And they were FAST. One would prep the space (remove the old outlets, old lights, etc.), and the other would come through and install the new outlets, lights, ceiling fan, etc, then the first would go back and clean up. On a whim, I had actually bought a few additional lights the night before (both front and back porch lights) that were not part of the original scope of work, but because the guys were so fast and doing such great work, I asked if they would consider also installing the additional lights, and they kindly agreed. They ended up staying about an hour longer than the Big Deal covered, but we gladly payed the additional hourly rate to get so many "wish list" items checked off. I had another provider also give me an Estimate, and they were more than double the cost, and I don't know how the end result could have been any better. They do definitely prefer to communicate by email (which was a little bit hard for me, I liked the idea of a phone call just to talk through the project in advance), but they were more than prepared so I guess the emails worked out fine. I absolutely LOVE having all the new outlets, lights, and ceiling fan in place. The men were polite, organized, and way faster than I ever expected. I'll definitely call them again!

I was pleased with the work. They showed up on time and performed the work quickly. Very pleasant and courteous. Cleaned up the space afterwards. The ceiling light was smaller than the original and he plastered the opening so that there is nothing left for me to do but touch up the ceiling with paint. That surprised me as I was expecting to have to do that myself.

I paid for electrical services and was supposed to hear from someone this morning to schedule an appointment based on the dates I selected. I have not heard back from anyone but the service cost was deducted from my account. I expected (from recommendations from friends) to have a response by now. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED that I have not heard back from anyone yet.

Purchased a 4 hr deal for $196. It took a while (2 mo) to set up apt. Kept dealing with phone msgs. Got nervous having dealt with another contractor that evaded me and didn't show on day of appt. However, this one went well once apt came (was overwhelmed with Angie's deal response). Very good, quality work, and efficient. I had a lot to get done, and he stayed longer to finish, and then came back another day. Hourly rate was reasonable and discounted on return trip. I would use again and recommend.

We had more things to be done than could be accomplished in four hours, but they did install a much needed ceiling fan in our kitchen. The installation was neat, and the fan has worked well so far. Don and his co-worker were prompt, polite, and knowledgeable about could and couldn't be done, given the wiring in our old house.

The electrician arrived on time as scheduled. He immediately started the jobs that were described to him but needed to get some parts at a hardware store. He then worked about four hours and completed all work. The charges had been paid in advance so when he left, that was the end of the matter. He took all the trash with him and left the work areas clean and neat.

We purchased the deal for 4 hours of electrical work; they were timely and professional and did a great job. They were very knowledgeable, and the deal was a great value. I would highly recommend them and use them again.

This group is very good. The quality of work was beyond what I was expecting. I appreciate the attention to detail, and they seem to pride themselves with that as well.

It went very well. The serviceman showed up on time and covered everything I had on my list. He also explained that the outlet shorted / burned-out due to moisture in the basement wall where the dryer was plugged in. The Angie's List coupon covered the $196 of labor, but there was an additional charge of $40 for materials.

Repairs took place in 4 different areas of the house. Work was neat, guys were pleasant, straightforward and competent. I would call again.

I bought a deal for 4 hours of electrical work. They replaced a chandelier (that I simply hated) in my dining room, and replaced an outdoor light near my back door that no longer worked. They also replaced a burned out bulb on another floodlight in the back of the house that I could not get to without a ladder. It hadn't worked since I moved into my house last summer, and I had honestly forgot about it, but they noticed and offered! I appreciated that! I also had two ceiling fan/light combos in two bedrooms that did not work off of the room switch. You had to walk to the middle of the room and pull the chain. There was no other lights in the rooms. The switch only controlled the plugs. This had been driving me crazy since I moved in. So they rewired both rooms, so that it worked properly. The switch now controls the light/ceiling fan (only), and the plugs are ALWAYS live. Seems like such a minor thing, but I am SO happy to have that finally fixed. They had to climb around up in the attic to get to what they needed, and I know it was warm up there, but they did what they had to do. After the first room was done, they told me that my 4 hours was up, and asked if I wanted to proceed with the second room, at the regular hourly rate? They told me it would probably take about another hour. So I had them do it. I appreciated their cost conscientiousness, and letting me know how much longer it would be before I decided. (By the way, to be clear, two men came, so it really only took two hours initially, but it was four hours of man labor) They were very professional, cleaned up everything - couldn't even tell that they had been there. Even took away my old ugly chandelier! I would definitely recommend!!
