They were excellent - at both jobs!

Once the outlets were installed he began to figure out the problem in my family room. I had explained to him that I had another electrician in to figure out that problem and the electrician said that 'the problem could be any where behind the walls, and that he would charge by the hour to figure it out - and it could cost a lot of money, and for me to think about it and let him know. He took $110 for his service call and did nothing for me. This gentleman from Masters Electric said 'it was just a matter of following the path'. I proceeded to watch him move furniture to get to outlets, go down to the basement to remove a drop ceiling in order to see 'the path'. He then went into a bookcase, removed a shelf - again - following the path - testing outlets and putting everything back exactly where it was. He determined that the problem was actually in the adjacent room and with my help, we moved the china cupboard and low and behold - HE FIXED THE PROBLEM! It was a short in the outlet in the dining room which was causing havoc in my family room. After watching this gentleman at work I realized that I will never use another electrical company other then Masters Electric. He was determined to figure out my problem and he wasn't going to stop until he did! When it was time for me to write a check - it was only $105! (I had paid for the 2- $88 outlets earlier on line) He fixed my 3 year problem in about an hour and it was only $105!!!! Incredible what a bit of pride accomplishes!!!!! Will definitely go to Masters Electric for all electrical needs.

The guys arrived on time and were very friendly & professional in installing my outdoor outlets and the $88.00 special made it very affordable. I also asked them while they were here if they could install 2 outdoor sensor lights on the back of my house which they did for an additional charge of $60.00 (also reasonable.) The only negative was that they moved some porch furniture to install my outdoor outlet but did not return my furniture to it's original place. I would definately recommend them and l plan on having them back in the spring to repair an attic fan and some additional work as well.

During recent storm that moved through the area, water was coming in to electric box . Electric box was saturated and water was actually running out of it onto the basement floor. Eric not only came out in the middle of the horrible storm, but he charged a fair emergancy call price and took care of drying everything out for us so that the electric company would turn out power back on. We are going to have him back out in the near future to fix things up outside so that this does not happen again.

He did an excellent job and I've referred them to other people who were also very impressed.

Eric and Dan arrived when stated, after analyzing the basement problem, they identified the cause of the short in the basement, and thanks to an accurate analysis it was not necessary to replace an outside pole light (as I had been informed previously by another electrician as needing done.) Outside pole light was adjusted, and working again, all basement issues were resolved, and all other outside lights were addressed, interior outlets were added, ceiling fan replaced, light fixtures changed in garage and basement...work was done efficiently, and in a very timely fashion. In addition, totally out of the realm of anything electrical, Eric noticed the handrail on the staircase was pulled from the wall, while out purchasing supplies for the electrical work, he purchased a toggle bolt and fixed that issue also. Quite an act of kindness...very much appreciated. Service was efficient, work performed well, clean-up of the work areas was very nicely addressed. Great service experience. I would not hesitate using Masters Electrical Services again, and would recommend them to anyone, and I already have.

He did a good assessment of my electrical box, and let me know that I’d have to run additional lines. He was honest and let me know that he would not be able to get to the additional work for a while because he had other big contracts.

Our experience with Masters Electrical was very positive. Eric and his assistant, Don, came to our house just two days after we contacted them. When I spoke to Eric on the phone, he said the jobs I mentioned would cost $125. After arriving and looking the situation over, Eric suggested another, more permanent, way of dealing with our lighting problems in both the kitchen and the game room. We agreed with his assessment, so he did a temporary repair in both rooms. In addition, after he arrived, I remembered a problem we'd been having with a table lamp, and I asked Eric to look at it. He was able to fix the problem very quickly. We will definitely be having Eric and Don back within a few weeks to do the permanent fix in both our kitchen and game room. They are not just very professional and knowledgeable; in addition, they are very nice people who went out of their way to help us with our problems. In fact, one of the things Eric is going to do on his return visit involves replacing a light panel in our kitchen that has been there for almost twenty years. Other electricians have told us that light panel (covering five switches) probably couldn't be replaced, but Eric said he would definitely be able to do it. We would recommend Masters Electrical to anyone and everyone. A couple of good guys who are also very skilled electricians.

Purchased the Big Deal through Angie's List. Outstanding and the prices were fair. Very professional in every way. Plan on using him again in the future.

The installations went extremely well and I was very pleased with the services provided and with Don, the owner. I purchased 2 Angie Big Deals for this company. Don responded to my email request for service very promptly and scheduled me for his next available appointment. Don and his employee showed up on time and they were very patient with me when I explained all of the different electrical things that I needed done. Afterwards, Don split the work between his employee and himself and they got to work. Both were very friendly and efficient. Don also gave me free advise on next steps required to install an outdoor hot tub when I was ready. He told me exactly what I need to do to prepare for the electrical installation which will save me headaches down the road. I WILL DEFINITELY USE THIS COMPANY OVER AND OVER AGAIN and will refer them to my friends and neighbors!

They installed and outdoor electrical outlet. While onsite I asked them to install an outlet in another area inside of my home. They were able to accomplish quality work within a minimal amount of time. They did a great job.

He installed an outside outlet according to the coupon I purchased on Angie's List. He was personable, knowledgable and cleaned up when finished. I may have him back to install 3-prong outlets to replace all the 2-prong in my 60 year old house. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the 2-prong outlets are grounded and I will not need to have the whole house rewired.

They were punctual, professional, and knowledgeable. They explained everything thoroughly before and after, did quality work, and also cleaned up afterwards.

I contacted Masters because my florescent ceiling lights were overheating in the basement, and the florescent lights in the garage hummed and flickered. I explained, in detail, the problem I was having and that I believedthe ballasts needed to be replaced because I had already replaced the lightbulbs. When they arrived to make the repairs, they did not have any replacement parts with them, and they had to go to a local hardware store to purchase them. Unfortunately, I live out in the woods, and the nearest place was rather expensive. If they had come prepared, they could have saved quite a bit on replacement parts. Since I had to pay for the parts, I was disappointed that they weren't prepared. They also charged me for new lightbulbs, even though I had recently replaced them. The work they performed was done well, they left the area neat when they were done, and they were polite, but I was not pleased with their preparation before the appointment.

Squeezed me in on same day short notice.... Professional and trustworthy.. Troubleshot and fixed problem in sort period of time

The service time was changed the evening before to accomodate an emergency call from another customer.The electrician and his assistant were slightly late but had called in advance. They were processional and the master electrician explained things to me.He had to run out and get parts, partially because of my error (wrong timer) but also a second run because he didn't pick up the right thing. But the second run also meant that he could get the parts for my flood light, which hadn't worked for months. It took a little longer than I wanted, but it was fine and everything works well. I do wish that electricians and other professionals were a bit tidier - that is cleaning up the little bits that fall from the ceiling when installing a fan, and the little bits that fall when an outlet is messed with. It seems like a simple thing that an assistant could do with a dust pan and broom. They did however, clean up and take away the "big" trash (boxes from supplies, burned out bulbs, etc).

I had asked them to do some crawling in a very limited space and they did it easily. It’s not the easiest thing to do on a hot day and they did it, traced the wiring, and made sure everything was up to code. They went above and beyond what I would’ve expected and I would definitely use their services again and again. They did a good job. They were very quick, efficient, and professional.

Masters Electric gave an accurate estimate, arrived on time, did the installation (including marking the spot on the ceiling for a hook for the chain, which we had not yet purchased). Cleaned up after themselves, were polite and considerate.

It went well. They were very experienced in working in older homes with an older wiring system. They worked quickly, explained what found and what they had to do. They solved some challenging problems associated with other shared circuits on the the older wiring. They were efficient and completely cleaned up after themselves when finished, including vacuuming the rugs in each room. Both fans (Hunter Regalia) work well as do the remote controls to control the fan and lights.

I had purchased the 2 hour block for electrical work and it took them exactly 2 hours to do the job. They had to run out to get an extra part to finish the job and I paid for the cable (this wasn't a cable that they normally stocked). They put everything back and cleaned up the dust once the job was completed. I was very pleased with the work and have already requested/ and purchased more time to them come back and put in a outside outlet. They left cards, which I have gladly passed on to my family and friends.

Eric and Don arrived ready to work. I had purchased the $99 Angie's List Buy Now Deal for 2 hours of labor. Eric took the tour of what needs to be done versus what can I afford to have done. His estimates, coupled with articulate explanations of each task, made it clear to me that I need not look further for another electrical service to come help with any work. Their work ethic and pride in what they do was obvious. The initial work was covered on the first day and an appointment to suit my schedule has been set to complete the work.

They were polite, professional, and were able to install all 3 lights within one hour (including clean up time!). We would highly recommend them!! They even provided us with additional advice about other issues pertaining to our sometimes questionably-built Maronda home.

We really like Master's Electrical Service Company. We have used them twice. It is two guys who work together. They were prompt, hardworking and had a fair price. They were very professional.
