The experience was fine. There was a problem on that when they left; it wasn’t working. They came right back. They said it was a defective box and replaced it right away. I spoke to the owner and that is who did the work. He came right out when I said there was a problem. He came right out the next day and fixed it. That was fine. I have no idea what it normally costs.

Never showed up. Highly unprofessional and would never recommend

I was having some stonework done on my porch and wanted to have an outside outlet added, so I called Masters Electrical. He called me right back and said he had another job he was doing that week, but would try to squeeze me in. I got a call later in the day, saying that they would be out the next day. They came out, and in about 35 minutes, I had a new outlet. I am very pleased with the service and that they were able to get to my job so quickly.

Great guys, Eric and Don are 2 very hard working, honest, guys you would want working in your home. They arrived at the time they said, were done sooner then they said and did very nice work. They are AAA++. Can't ask for 2 nicer and honest guys.

.Unfortunately, this was our first experience with Angie's List, and it was a nightmare. Based on the positive reviews, we contacted this electrician (Eric) for an estimate to install three (3) z-wave light switches to be used in conjunction with our home security system. His initial quote was $65 for the first hour + $60 for each additional hour. When Eric came to our home the following day, he did not remember his own estimate/quote and he asked US what he had quoted. When we 'reminded' him, he informed us that his price had changed to $75 for the first hour + $65 for each additional hour! Nevertheless, since he was already at our home and seemed like a nice guy, we agreed to his altered price. After three (excruciatingly long) hours, it became obvious that Eric was not able to complete the job. Although he installed two of the three switches, he was not able to properly install the third switch. (It is noteworthy that our home is only seven years old). When it became clear that the only progress being made was a ticking cash clock, we considered the possibility that perhaps a faulty switch was to blame, and we told Eric that it was OK to go. At that point, Eric informed us that his bill was $245 - which, under either of his own estimates, did not add up. Quite frankly, we paid him just to end the nightmare ... and despite our request for a receipt, Eric left only the promise that he would email us a receipt asap. After repeated requests for an itemized statement/receipt, he eventually emailed a simple $245 "Paid In Full" receipt with no itemization of the number of labor hours or the number of switches installed. When we again requested an itemized receipt, we received a phone message that his rate was actually $130 an hour and that he had given us a deal! The bottom line is that we paid $245.00 to have two light switches installed and a job left unfinished. And for the record, my husband (who is NOT an electrician) was able to successfully install the switch after Eric left, so it turns out that the switch was not defective after all!

I called to obtain an estimate for replacing old wiring as there was old knob and tube wiring in the house and the lights flicker and dim intermittently throughout the house. Two electricians came promptly for the appointment. They unscrewed outlets and switch plates to examine wiring and replaced it neatly. They examined the exposed wires in the basement. They were very thorough, professional, and honest. They did not find a need to replace any wiring as the old knob and tube had been cut and new wiring and panel boxes had been installed relatively recently. They did an excellent job and I would definitely call them again for any future electrical work in the future.

The electrician and his helper arrived in the time frame given over the phone. They put in the 220 outlet on the baseboard and put a pigtail on the stove. I had some wall outlets that were put in almost 30 years ago upside down and they turned them right side up. I was quoted a price and the amount of time the job would take over the phone plus the cost of parts. The job when finished was actually less as the job didn't take as long as expected. I am very satisfied with Masters Electrical and would definitely have them do any electrical work in the future. I would also recommend the company to my friends. They men were friendly and polite. Also they cleaned up after they were finished.

It was super hot that day. I think it was over 100° in my attic. But they were very prompt to come out and fix that. They came at the end of their workday, just because I was concerned about a fire, because something had happened to the blades of the fan and I could hear the engine running - but the motor kept running. They came out and they replaced it and they were really quick and they were good workers. They always clean up when they're done. And they're very prompt to return a phone call, to schedule a time to come out to see whatever your needs are. They're very affordable, too. I mean, they're not coming out in business suits or anything like that, but they're very affordable and they're nice. I thought they were fine. They were prompt. They cleaned up very well when they were done and they were very business oriented. They gave you the price, you paid and then they left.

Yes, there were challenges, due to the age of the home, the problems already in place. HOWEVER, Eric did not get flustered, just simply went to plan B, He thought his way through the process. He and Don went above and beyond the call of duty. Although it was late in the day, both stayed without hesitation until "the project was completed. I was VERY impressed that not only was someone listening but that I was being heard. WOW!!

The men were knowledgable, fast and efficient.

We had lights in one room that weren't working. Eric and his assistant came on time, explained the problem, did the work and cleaned up perfectly. He also took the time to examine our electrical system and let us know it was up to code, and did not need an upgrade we'd been considering to accommodate a kitchen remodel. We were very pleased with the service.

They changed some wiring in my gameroom. They also installed under cabinet lighting,and also fix a fixture that I had installed which II did not plug the light in to socket. After they left my house theywent to my son's to install aplug in my son garage which had to go into the breaker box and change some wiring in landry area.l

I assumed the electrical box would have been recessed. I already had a box dangling on the outside. I thought the Best Deal was for a new recessed outside electrical box. Eventhough I was disappointed and a little rude, the electrican was nice in explaining that for an additional cost I could have it recessed.

Several power outlets and lights had suddenly stopped working. I called Master's and left a message; a call was returned by the end of the day and an appointment scheduled immediately. Master's noted their cost / hour along with the work associated with troubleshooting this problem. Master's arrived on time and completed the work in a timely fashion. I also purchased the $88 exterior outlet replacement coupon which is a great promotion. I am completely satisfied with their work and plan to use them again to fix other non-functioning lights, switches, an upgrade 2 prong outlets.

I called Masters Electrical Service Company about the above services. Eric returned my called promptly and during our conversation he asssured me that these were not "big" jobs. He gave me a work date, time frame, and arrived promptly. He worked efficiently and patiently answered my questions. He was particular about cleaning up and asked if I was satisfied. He gave me a cost estimate before starting and I felt that his price was fair. I will definitely call him back as I plan several future projects. Also I recommend him highly to anyone who is looking for an electrician with integrity. After he left I looked for the boxes/packing materials to recycle, and they were gone. He even took the garbage! Eric is a personal young man and you will enjoy working with him.

Very timely and great professional service

From the beginning Masters was professional, arriving on time and with identification. They proceeded with the work and were very patient with my ever-changing planning and lack of any real idea of what I wanted. These guys have been wonderful in dealing with an electrical system that can only be described as insane. Punctual, neat, efficient and friendly, I plan on having them return for future work and have referred several friends to them for work in their homes.

A very busy year for us and Eric showed up to see the house in quite the disarray. He just kept on working and got the job done having at times to dance over boxes and furniture.

I hired Masters through a big deal to replace switches in my kitchen. They were prompt and courteous and did a great job. Because the job was less than the big deal provided Eric offered to apply some of the big deal to another job I asked about - installing recessed lighting in a bedroom. Eric also did that job a few weeks later and again a very professional job - on time, on budget, as planned and with very little disruption to the room. I will definitely use them in the future for electrical issues.

I called and scheduled a time to have him come to my home and give a quote. He, and another person showed, looked at the project and came up with some numbers. The meeting went OK, I would have liked a little more professional etiquette, however, the price was excellent and he seemed eager to do the work. We chose not to have the work done at all, instead we did it ourselves to save money. I would have picked them for the job if we decided to contract out.

Eric and Don were out at our place about a month or so ago, and they did some preliminary work in the kitchen and game room at that time; but we knew we wanted them to come out later and do an upgrade in both areas. When I called them about the second job, they responded immediately. They arrived on time and got to work right away. They work well together and explained everything they were doing in terms a non-technical person (yours truly) could easily understand. They also did a thorough job of cleaning up before they left. Both guys are friendly, personable and we would hire them again without hesitation.

I purchased the $88.00 electrial outlet special. Master's Electrical Service Company did an excellent job. The electricians were very prompt, professional, polite and cleaned up beautifully. I highly recommend this company for all of you electrical needs. I plan on having some more electrical work done outside my home in the spring and after having such a good experience with this company I would never consider any other electrial company other than Masters. THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!

An excellent experience. Mr. Mastay and Don worked swiftly and efficiently. I probably wouldn't have found out about their relatively new company if it wasn't for Angie's List Big Deal. To finally have exterior outlets is a wonderful convenience. And thanks to Mr. Mastay and Don, things around here are a lot safer.
