Our furnace died.We called a local repair company in our neighborhood and paid $90 to have them tell us we needed a new furnace.They quoted a price of $4000 and a 2 week wait.A friend recommended Germek.They quoted a price of $2900 and installed the new furnace the day before Thanksgiving! They were very professional and did the job in 3 hours! We are extremely satisfied with the quality of work they did! We would highly recommend them to anyone needing furnace/air conditioning work! I have been a customer of L Germek for over 23 years. When I moved, I needed to have the HVAC in my new place checked out because the systems are older. The guy checked everything and made sure it was working. Anytime I ever had a problem, they have always been a great company to deal with. Friendly, professional, and fair prices. Highly recommended.

If I need them, I call them and they are here immediately. We have been using them for at least 15 years. Very professional, friendly, do the work, in and out and they do not try to upsell me.

We have gotten to know them, they do the work, tell me if there is a problem but don't try to tell me there is a problem if there isn't. I have heard of other people and they are paying more.

I had a proposal from another contractor for a new furnace/HVAC system. I was unsure as to the quality of the proposed products because of the negative reviews I had seen online. I did not want to waste Germek's time regarding coming to the house to give a proposal but was hoping for an honest discussion of the system and a ballpark cost. If the ballpark cost was competitive then I would afford Germek the opportunity to visit the house and provide a proposal. After speaking with the receptionist who was exceptionally cordial, I spoke with Michael who discussed the product I was interested in and gave me a ballpark price with an understanding of the house conditions that could affect the installed price. Michael gave me a great insight into the manufacturing involved in different furnace products and assured me that most issues with HVAC systems are the result of poor installation. I am exceptionally grateful to Michael and Germek for taking the time to discuss my issues and allay my fears about HVAC systems.

The company was very responsive when I called about a month ago to get a quote. The gentleman came out and explained what he needed to do in detail and provided quotes on three separate units. All very reasonably priced. The next week I called and scheduled a date for the air conditioning unit to be installed. On both occasions (during quote visit and installation day), they were prompt, very polite and professional. Also, the office staff (who were very personable) called me on both occasions to give me a heads up that he was on his way to my house, which I thought was great. I would highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again for both cooling and heating needs.

On January 1 we woke up and didn't have any heat (motor burned up in heater). I called Germek Heating and Cooling assuming I would get an answering machine (being a holiday) but was surprised when I spoke to a person who told me that a technician would call back within 10-15 minutes. They called back in the time frame given and within the hour, I had heat again.

They were responsible and showed up on time. The price was a little high but the work was fantastic, they were in and out in tow days. Overall, they had a super service.

Everything went extremely well. Mike, arrived at the appointment time to give us an estimate and decide on what type of system would work best for us. He is very knowledgeable and gave us several options and prices from which to choose. We made our decision based on Mike' s expertise. They called us with an installation date and arrived as scheduled. We were given an approximation of how long the installation would take and it was finished in that amount of time. The workers were very polite and competent; they left everything clean. When they put the units outside, they even took the time to dig out two of my large flowers from a flower bed rather than killing them by placing cement slabs on top of them. We were very pleased with all of the work and the workers and would highly recommend this company.

I am a new customer of L. Germek Heating and Cooling. My air conditioner quit working, and 94 and 92 degree weather was forecasted for the next two days. I contacted Germek, and I explained that I didn't want to spend a lot on repairs as the unit was 17 years old. I was told that they would send someone out to evaluate the air-conditoner. When the technician arrived, I again explained that I was not willing to spend a lot in repairs. I was told that he would check out the problem and then discuss it with me. He said that for a $40 part, he could try and see if that was the only problem. I agreed, and sure enough he only had to replace the capicitor for $40. plus $79 for the cost of labor. I was prepared to buy a new unit. He left me with a work order with costs in case I ever want to replace the unit. I know that eventually I will, and you can be sure that I contact L. Germek Heating and Cooling, Inc. I highly recommend this business for its honesty and quality of work. Congratulations.

I checked Angie's list for a "new" heating and cooling contractor as the previous one I was using totally destroyed my confidance and charged exhorbitant price for work that was done. L. Germek Heating and Cooling, Inc. responded quickly. They came out the following day, which was a reasonable time frame as this was not an emergency. Their technician was polite and personable, and he answered many questions that pertained not just to the current problem, but questions about future service as well. The price given reflected a higher cost for the blower, as the universal one would not fit my furnace. The cost for labor was well within reason, adding to my confidance that I will again use their services for routine maintenance and for problems that come up. I will definitely recommend L. Germek to family and neighbors. Use them with confidance about pricing and quality of service.

We had been told another company that our heating unit was bad and needed replaced because it was emitting Carbon Monoxide. That company tried to sell us a new unit and told us to get out of the home until it was taken care of. We called Germek for a second opinion and they found no Carbon Monoxide. They made a simple fix of the sensor and only charged us 35.00. We were so happy with them and will use them in the future.

L Germek couldn't have been better. A previous estimate from another company ( that was not on Angies list ) was triple. Bless you Angie and bless you L Germek.

They came in and did a good job. We have not had any problems with the system. I would highly recommend them to others and will use them again in the futue.

We have been using Germek for all of our family HVAC needs for the past five years. They have never failed to provide prompt, professional service at a fair price. My house has hot water heat thus no heating vents. We decided to have whole-house installed and received 5 bids. Germek was the least expensive and knowing the kind of service they provide we chose them. We agreed on a start date and they honored it. My wife and I both work so we allowed them in the house alone. They performed the job exactly as agreed with minimal disruption and mess. We are more than pleased with the how they went about the work and the final results. You can't go wrong with this company.
