"Ray and the entire team were excellent! I had previously received an estimate from another company, but they used subcontractors for the actual work and this concerned me. Another company came out and took measurements, but never gave me an estimate. I got the feeling the job was too big for them. I was now really hesitant to trust anyone to do the work and wanted to make sure they were going to do it right. I went to the BBB and found Betterliving with an A+ rating. From the beginning, I felt comfortable. They explained everything, were more than open to additional phone calls to clarify any questions I had and gave me an estimate very quickly. While I knew the work would not be started for several months, I received weekly phone calls from Michele, so I felt informed the whole time. They even took care of the permit that was required, so I didn't have to do any paperwork, handle the fee or answer questions. Mike was great about getting the measurements and he let me know the work would not start until he made sure all of the pieces were available. Frank was super with the installation. He treated the entire project as if he were working on his own home. The payments were done over the duration of the project, so I didn't feel like I was handing over my money without anything in return. And the final payment was not due until I was satisfied with the work completed. The warranty provided on the materials was excellent. I'm happy I decided on Betterliving and have been enjoying my patio cover every chance I get! A long time dream is finally a reality."

After only a short amount of time, Mr. Dotson had trusted Jim with crafting them on his own. Jim took to it with excellent initiative. However, after an extended amount of time creating counter tops, it was time to move on with his career… James’ grandmother owned a two car garage she rented out for tenants. The day he said he was going to start his own business, she, (politely as an italian-broken-english-speaking grandmother could,) kicked out the two tenants immediately and gave him his work shop. "The "roof repair" cost me $4,275.00 and the leak into my bathroom was worse before he fixed the roof. He did do a great job in painting my garages but wanted t charge me extra to paint the side door and the side window because I didn't specify that it was part of the garage when I hired him. LOL. He painted 4 pieces of wood which made of a section of fence the wrong color. But then I fiqured out the wrong color of paint on the fence and the not painting the garage door was because he ran out of the brown paint. I had the roof leak fixed by a very reputable roofing company and it was 1/4 of what Furko charged to do nothing. Needless to say I won in court. Furko now has a nice judgement against him which I am sure he will never pay. Would I recommend him or hire him again H*** NO!!!! The 1st picture is how my leak looked inside my bathroom when I hired Furko and the second picture was how it looked AFTER he "fixed" the leak and I paid him $4,275.00"
