About us

Total Leather Care has been cleaning, repairing and refurbishing leather furniture since 1987 years in PA, N J and DE. We offer a free inspection for Angie's List customers. That is a $50.- $75. value depending on where you live. Besides cleaning and repairing leather furniture, we also repair leather and vinyl car interiors and leather garments (we do not do alterations, replace zippers or dry clean). We are happy to give rough estimates based on digital photos emailed to us.

Services we offer

We Clean, Repair, and Recolor Leather Furniture, Auto Interiors and Leather Garments and Handbags. We can repair frame damage and add stuffing to cushions. We repair cuts, tears, stains, stitching, ink marks, and dog and cat damage. We Upholster entire pieces or spot upholster areas where leather damage is too extensive to repair.

Services we don't offer

We DO NOT clean, repair or recolor shoes. We DO NOT do alterations on leather clothing or replace zippers or dry clean.

Description of Work: They refinished a brown sectional leather sofa, and a cream colored sun room sofa and recliner |They all looked great and I was very suprised at how good everything looked |I would definitely use them again. We have dogs and their nails do scratch the furniture |You couldn't even see the scratches after the work was completed.

Description of Work: I saw their reviews, and they looked good. Long story short : although they may be good at what they do, their "admin side" is lacking. There was a little delay with a return phone call -but the final straw occurred when I was given a date of service on 9/11 -and that they would call me with a time. I believe I received the call for this service date during the week(s) of Aug 25- Sept 4. As of this date, NO phone call for the service time.

Dear Valued Customer, I am SO sorry that we disappointed you as to when we called you with a time frame. Our policy is that we call customers 2 days in advance of their appointment and give them a time frame of when to expect the technician. We do not call before then as the route is not usually firm until then. You were on the schedule to be called today, September 9th. I left you a message but have not heard back yet. We expect the tech to arrive this Friday between 10-1. We can ask the tech to call you when he is enroute. Please reply by phone, message center or email (info@totalleathercare.com) letting us know if you still wish a tech to go to your house this Friday, Sept. 11th arriving between 10-1. If we do not hear back from you by 3 pm on Thursday we will ask you to call us to reschedule as we need to let the tech know his final route for Friday. Sincerely, Joan Pritchard

Description of Work: Our dog chewed a big chunk out of the arm of our leather sofa. There was a huge gap and the leather couldn't be pulled together. I searched Angie's List for leather repair companies and came across TLC - their website even had a photo of a before/after job that looked like what we needed done. I contacted them via email and they got right back to me. They came out the following week, gave me an estimate and arranged to have the sofa piece picked up. They told me it would be about 2 weeks for the repair, but it ended up just being one week (they only pick up/deliver one day a week). They redid the entire arm and it looks like new. The cost was a bit high (half the price of the sofa), but it was worth it - my husband has already forgotten about what the dog did. :)
