Everything went quite well. I had no problems with scheduling an appointment for Chris to come out to survey the work to be done, he gave me an estimate. I agreed with the estimate and I called the office to schedule a date for the sofa to be picked up. The process took about 2 weeks for completion. I am very pleased with how the sofa looks. I would use them again .

I have used them a couple times, and I really like them. The price seemed reasonable.

Scheduling the appointment was very easy, office staff was very nice. They scheduled us for the same day they were already goingto be in our area which happended to be only about a week from when we called. They gave us a reminder call the day before, and showed up on time as scheduled. The service call was free since we are Angie's list members, otherwise you need to pay a $150 fee for them to come out, all of which can be applied towards a repair. Total time of repair was only about 30 minutes. Tear was repaired in a manner in which we can't even tell there was previously a tear there. So far, the repair has help up perfectly. Would use them again in a hearbeat!

My dogs had torn our leather couch in three different locations - they were all up at the top of the attached back cushions on each side. One tear was along the seam but the other was right through the middle of the top of the cushion. I did not think this could be repaired but called around to a lot of upholstery/leather places just in case. I even tried automotive leather repair shops but to no avail. I happened upon Total Leather on the internet and called them, expecting the same "can't help you" as I got from other upholster/leather places. They asked me to email them a picture and they called back and said they could take care of it. They gave a quote and although I was incredulous, the quote was way less than a new couch, so I figured it wouldn't hurt. The day of the appointment, the gentleman showed up right on time, he was dressed professionally in a uniform, he had all of his tools with him, and within an hour, our couch looked as good as new. I could not believe what a wonderful job he did. If you look very closely you can see a seam where there wasn't one, but you really need to know what you're looking for, and even then, it's so professional that it doesn't look like there was ever a tear. I was beyond happy with the results, especially since I was not expecting much and expected to have to buy a new couch any way. He asked if he could take "before and after" pictures, and I was so glad he did, because no one would ever believe what it looked like "before"!

It went great. The furniture looks brand new. He was punctual, and got straight to work. This surprised me a little because he was coming from a distance. He told us what it was going to cost before he started. It didn't take that long for him to do the service. He was polite and courteous and did a good job of cleaning up after himself. I would recommend him to anyone looking to get leather furniture repaired.

We had an 8 year old sofa love seat and recliner that were faded from the sun. Although the price was high I thought it would be worth it since this was very expensive leather furniture. They picked up the furniture and had it for about three weeks. When the furniture was returned to us on time and professionally it was awful! It was sticky and looked like it had been spray painted the buttery feeling was gone. We called and were told that it needed time to warm up and finish drying? or something like that. It's now two months later and still feels terrible. the finish is starting to peel off and and it is getting scratch marks from the dogs-from a distance it looks okay but get closer and it looks cheap and feels gross. There are areas that the dogs lay that the dye is completely gone and now is on the Dogs. They Totally ruined our furniture. They returned my called after posting this review and someone came out that day. They said there had obviously been a problem and that they would take it back to the shop and try to fix the problem. I don't really think that they can fix this to my satisfaction and I don't want to be without my sofas for weeks again so I requested my money back The person that came out couldn't authorize this so he said they would call back. The next day they called back and said that they would give me back my money for the services rendered. I received the check three days later. In return they stated that they hoped I would revise my review on Angies List. Although my money has been returned I am out a sofa, Chair and Loveseat that were useable just faded. I'm now shopping for new furniture an expense I didn't really intend to have have right now.

Should I replace my expensive leather sofa and loveseat, or should I try to find a company that would restore them? The furniture is nearly 20 years old and was in good condition except that the green color was extremely worn due to constant use. I searched the Internet for a local solution and found Total Leather Care. I was contacted immediately after sending an email, and within a week Terry came to my home to inspect the furniture. He told me that the furniture could be restored, gave me an estimate and explained that the work would need to be done at their location. I then signed up for Angie's List in order to check references before deciding to proceed. On pickup day, Chris talked to me about the recoloring process, and then he and his assistant removed the furniture. Two weeks later, they delivered the sofa and loveseat, and I was amazed that they looked like new pieces of furniture. I did learn a few lessons though. First of all, the restored leather might not be exactly the same color as the original, and it might have a different degree of shine. I think it's the customer's responsibility to ask very specific questions about the expected results, especially if the furniture is the focal point in your home. Also, having new-looking furniture might contrast greatly with existing furniture. So one needs to anticipate other expenses to make the rest of the room be compatible with and look as good as the "new" leather pieces. All in all, I was very satisfied with the results and applaud Chris on his craftsmanship.

His company was perfect for repairing the expensive leather cushions our dogs had eaten from one of our leather sofas. I brought the cushions up to them. They gave me an estimate, and repaired the cushions very nicely within a week or so. My wife was very pleased with the results. I believe that most upholstery places would not even tried to fix this type of damage to leather cushions.

I thought the cost was a bit high and figured I could just buy a new couch for a little more money. He gave me a lot of information about leathers and was informative. I was just disappointed that it would cost so much to have it done.

Total Leather Care came to my house, on time and repaired the damage. I knew the price in advance (emailed pictures) and the repair procedure was fully explained. I wasn't promised that the repair would look like new, but it actually does. Service was fast and friendly.

It was a wonderful experience. The results were excellent.

It was very expensive, so I didn't get the work done. I thought that they were nice, and they discussed all my options with me. They were also on time, and I didn't feel rushed with them.

I called the Total Leather Care on June 25, 2012 to have some questions answered. Based on the answers I was given I made an appointment to have my car looked at. They do the work at your home or your place of business so I didn't even have to go anywhere. I was told there was a $50.00 charge to come out and give the estimate but if I had the work done the $50.00 would come off of the cost of the repairs After reading on Angie's List that they give free estimates to the members I called them back. When I let them know I was an Angie's List member I was told there would be no charge for the estimate. The person I spoke to at their office told me she would call me back on June 26, 2012 to tell me the time frame of the appointment. True to her word I received a call from her on that date. She set the appointment up for June 28, 2012 between the hours of 1 PM to 4 PM. She also said I would receive a call from the person coming out before he arrived. I did receive the call before 1 PM on the 28th and the repair person showed up a little past 1 PM. He looked at the problems I wanted repaired, quoted me what I consider a good price and was able to do the work while he was here. I noticed he covered the seat and the floor of my car to keep it clean while he was working. There was one part of the repair that he told me he would not be able to make it a 100% match. That part I consider being at least a 98% match when he was finished. Since it was a less than a 10% match before he started I was very happy. The gentleman was very professional, and honest. I would not hesitate use Total Leather Care again and I will recommend him to anyone I know who needs this type of work done

Excellent job, you can hardy tell that there was damage.

Very nice and polite, but quite expensive. I have a leather couch that the panels come off for easy cleaning. They wanted me to bring the entire couch in rather then just the panels, even though it was only the panels that were soiled. They charged $75 just to look at the couch, and quoted me $450 to clean it. I ended up cleaning it myself.

I had my sofa fixed before, and it wasn’t as good of a job as this company did. The sofa is now very comfortable! They were pleasant, efficient, courteous and fair. The sofa is expensive to fix, but I think their price was reasonable. The technician came out to see the job and provided me with an estimate. They called me before they picked it up and brought it back. We have hardwood flooring and they were also very careful. The experience was good overall!

They did some work for me last year and I had them do some work for me this year too. The experience has been fine. I think they do quality work!

I'm sorry to say I forget the techs name, however he showed up at my house exactly when he said he would and got right to work. He let me know that the middle console might not look perfect, I forget the exact reason but something to do with how they are manufactured and put on or something. He said the repair would stop the rip from getting worse, but would probably still be noticeable. I asked him to do it anyway. After about 40 minutes he knocked on my door to let me know he was finished. The big rip on the side of the passenger seat was gone, completely. The seat looks brand new. And to my surprise, the console looked REALLY good. If you spend some time and know where the rip was you can see a little smoothness that is not present in the rest of the console, but that is it. he tech was friendly, courteous and did a fantastic job. I would recommend this company to anyone in need of leather repair. In fact, a new rip recently showed up on the drivers side seat that I will be calling them about soon.

Found Total Leather Care on Angie's list & gave them a try. After a few back & forth phone calls we agreed on a time & date for Chris to come to my house. He came on time & after explaining process he completed the job in about an hour. Very pleased with the repair! Looks great!

THE SERVICE MAN WAS WELL TRAINED. THE DAMAGE WAS REPAIRED WELL, IT LOOKED LIKE NEW AGAIN.
