I knew it was going to look good, but the final results were more than I expected. I really appreciated the skill/workmanship G&V Construction Serv. put into this project. Brian and his employees were always timely and pleasant. They made sure the work area was cleaned-up at the end of each day. Brian, thanks for your patience in answering all my questions with a thorough explanation. You made my first experience dealing with a contractor a good one. I look forward to working with you and your company in the future to complete my next home improvement project(s).

After a year of researching contractors for this project I decided to hire G&V Contruction. Out of all the contractors that I contacted G&V was the only company that came out and gave me a professional estimate. Once the project got started the workerswere very professional and attentive to their duties. I am very pleased with the out come of my project and would gladly hire this company again. My neighbors are very impressed as well. some have inquired about G&V doing some work for them

They performed each job in one day, as they had planned.

I don't have any complaints about this company. I just decided to use a contractor who gave me a lower bid & seemed a little bit more knowledgeable & experienced.

Brian was called for an estimate for a small concrete slab for my rain barrel placement. He came out the day I called and gavve me the price immediately. He let me know up front that the work could not be done for a few weeks as the weather had backed up his other jobs. I came home on the 19th to a beautiful , neat slab that was exactly what I requested. The price was fair, his professional and courteousness were obvious and he even cleaned up the old concrete pieces I had nearby! I've had bad exxperiences with contractors in the past, but this reaffirmed my faith. Greatful for Angies List.

Brian was very professional and gave me an estimate on the spot. He sent me an email to see if I had made a decision. He did not over run me with emails. I believe it was his wife that also called to see if I had any questions about the estimate and if I did to contact them with any questions. Before I was able to give Brian the job, I had an emergency in my bathroom which took the money I had set aside for the driveway.I would definitely given the job to Brian but I had to get the bathroom fixed first. I had to have the drive sealed without the cracks and sides that are crumbling fixed by another company with a lower price. I hope Brian is available when I need to have the driveway done correctly.

We had some tree removal/trimming done in the Fall and that caused us to need some hydroseeding done in the Spring on part of our property. During the hydroseeding, the heavy equipment bringing in topsoil caused cracking and upheaval of a good portion of an existing asphalt extension of our driveway. We contacted G & V Services, Inc. the second week of April because they were offering a 5% Off Coupon through Angie's List and had received many reviews with A ratings. Brian arranged to come out to our house the next day to give us an estimate of the cost for the necessary work. He arrived on time and was pleasant and professional and described to my husband and myself what he would need to do to make the repair. At that time we decided to have the existing asphalt area enlarged a bit and Brian gave us an estimate for that work. The work was scheduled and was completed in two days just over a week later. Brian and the men who did the work were professional and took care to not disturb the new grass that was coming up all around the perimeter of the area where they had to lay the asphalt. They were sure to instruct us on not using/disturbing the new asphalt for a set amount of days, and Brian came back to check on the work and advise us on when we could have the existing asphalt and the new area sealed. They completely cleaned up after themselves (something we are not used to having contractors always do). We have been very satisfied with the work performed by G & V Construction Services, Inc. and would not hesitate to use them again. As a matter of fact, I just was made aware that the company provides many other services for households and I have a few projects that I plan to contact them about. The invoice we were presented with was exactly the amount Brian had stated in the estimate. We used the 5% Off Coupon for Angie's List Members and saved $144.50 .....paying $2745.50 for a job quoted at $2890.00. Great job guys!

He was really nice and I liked everything about him. The only thing was that he was way more expensive than I was looking to pay for the job. When I went to Angie's List, I got a phone call the very next day from his staff. He set up an appointment. He called me on Monday and set up the appointment for that Friday. He came by and did the estimate then, a couple days later he emailed me with the contract estimate. It was definitely a very good experience the only problem with it was that it was way too much.

Tom came out for an estimate on my property. He missed the first meeting, not a big deal. He called to reshcedule and we did. He came in and I described and showed everything that I needed to be done and we settled on a price. He sent me a proposal with the price that we had discussed. There were many things that I had a problem with in the proposal, and there were some work missing on the proposal that we had discussed. I asked him to change it and add the things that we had discussed. He said no problem. A few days goes by and I ask him what's going on with the new contract as I am ready to sign and get going with this work. He writes me an email back stating that we are still 6-8 weeks out from the project(when the initial date on the proposal was 3 weeks away). I wrote him back and said that's not going to work for me and I needed to be done by a certain date. He didn't get back to me so I called him today. Now he tells me with "the new work added" (there was no new work added, he just decided to jack up the price) the new price was going to be $14,500 up from $12,000 which was on the proposal. That's more than 20% higher. He purposesly dragged it out cause now it's the busy time for construction and I'm sure he was planning on me being a sucker and taking the job just because I wouldn't be able to hire anyone else in time. I told him the last thing he needs is a bad review on angies list cause this is a community of paid members and it just so happens that angies list called me yesterday asking for new updates on any businesses that I could help them with. What a lowlife. Good thing I got 6 other estimates at the same time. I just hope they are not all booked now. Yes his quote was a little cheaper than the really good places, but in the end he tried to screw me back to the same price. I should have just paid a little extra from the get go DO NOT USE G&V Tom is not trustworthy

My row house backyard was mostly dirt with an ugly, crumbling concrete curb around it. I had G&V cut out the curb (leaving the sidewalk which went around the edge on two sides) and replace it with a cobblestone patio and a smaller, curved-edge garden. Their work looks great, and I was very impressed by their professionalism. Brian was willing to answer questions and work with me as I went back and forth a couple times on the paver color. I also had a drainage problem which caused dirt to wash down into the area, so they cut out a little extra sidewalk and filled in some loose stone to help with that. That wasn't even part of my initial request, but it keeps the patio looking better with less maintenance. After the Angie's List discount Brian was offering, their quote came in below the competitors, and they were more responsive to boot. I would definitely use G&V again.

Entire garage floor torn out and concrete re-poured due to prior breaking, cracking and water damage. Work to be done is to repair cracked step leading out of dining room into back yard.

Our home is located at the bottom of a long asphalt lane, which has steadily deteriorated over the course of the past several seasons. The past 2 winters (2009/10 and 2010/11) really did a number on the lane, as we spent long hours plowing the heavy snow we received in this part of the country. We had 3 separate paving contractors look at the project and give us an estimate. While G&V was not the absolute low estimate we received, Brian was a) the most timely in his scheduling of the initial visit to the site, b) the quickest to respond with an estimate, and c) the quickest to respond to questions regarding the estimate. However, G&V's estimate was reasonable and very clearly detailed for us. Putting all of this together with the favorable reviews on Angie's List, we decided to go with G&V to do the work. Since we live at the bottom of such a long lane, we knew that we could not expect to have use of the lane for a few days after installation. However, we were hosting two events here at the property, both within 2.5 weeks of each other. Brian worked with us to accommodate the scheduling such that the new driveway would be installed after the first event but would be cured in time for the second event. On the day of installation, the crew showed up promptly at 7:30 (we are a solid hour from their shop) and got straight to work. Brian and his crew were professional, respectful of our neighbors, and worked quickly yet carefully. By 2:30 PM, the entire job was complete and the finished product was outstanding - it exceeded our expectations. To top it off, the crew also patched several large potholes in a section of the lane that we were not having paved, at no additional charge. We would look forward to another opportunity to work with Brian, and we highly recommend him and his work. He was a pleasure to work with.

Brian is very personable and professional. He arrived on time for our appointment and took his time in understanding exactly what I wanted to get done. He seems like he knows exactly what he is doing and I am sure he has a quality product as evidenced by his photo's and reviews. Unfortunately I felt his pricing is way out of line with the majority of other quotes I have for the same job. His quote is at least double of all 5 I have received. Since lowest price is not my first criteria I have also eliminated the extremely low quote I have received from another company. I will say this, give them a call they have many happy customers, you will be happy with their professional approach and timely response and that in its own right will make it worth your while.

I called about 5 other potential contractors. One was very responsive, two came out to take measurements but never got back to me with a bid, and a few just never responded. Brian showed up on time to take measurements and offer a bid. He clearly explained what he was going to do and why it was necessary to do what he suggested. I found the price to be very fair. About a week prior to the scheduled start date, I e-mailed Brian requesting a change to the job (I wanted to widen the driveway another foot.) He immediately responded, stating it was no problem to make the change. I also found the increase in price to be fair. The project was in two steps: Day one was removal of the old driveway; day two the installation of the new surface. Brian indicated the work would begin at 7:30. By 7:20 the whole team had arrived and work promptly began at 7:30. The crew was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. In fact, my neighbors infant daughter was sick that week and Brian even tried to keep the noise down to avoid waking her. No issues day one. Day two came, and once again the crew was on-time and started working right at 7:30. The whole job was finished a few hours later. Brian used buckets of water to ensure no puddles would form on the new driveway. When a small puddle was found, he and and his foreman spent about 30 minutes removing the puddle... this was without me having to point out the problem to them. They took enough pride in their work to want to get it right the first time. On time, efficient, fairly priced, knowledgeable, high quality - what else could you want? Since this work has been completed I have recommended G&V to family members who are in need of a fair and honest GC.

Tom Falcone, the project manager, and two of his workers were very professional. Tom responded promptly to my initial inquiry with a helpful email. All three men were on time, respectful, and professional. I felt comfortable wit them in my house. They did the job very well, cleaned the room up well, and provided a fair price. This is the experience that I hope for whenever I hire a professional to come into my home. I would recommend them to anyone, without reservation.

I am writing this review subsequent to G&V Construction doing major renovations on my home. My husband and I were so pleased with the quality of work that I recommended them to my sister in Drexel Hill for purposes of putting in a new driveway. The new driveway was just completed, and my sister and brother-in-law have informed me that they are extremely pleased with the results and have received numerous compliments from neighbors. In addition, the G&V crew showed up exactly when they said they would, performed all work in a professional manner, were friendly and helpful, and completed the work on time. Each day before they left to go home, the property was cleaned and swept, leaving no debris behind. My sister and brother-in-law have informed me that they would highly recommend G&V Construction to others, and they fully intend to call them again in the future if they have any further work to do at their home.

They were very helpful and patient in working with my insurance company as far as settling the claim, and their price was reasonable.

Overall experience was excellent. Work was done very quickly and everything was cleaned up and hauled away.

Couldn't be happier with the results. We love our kitchen. The commitment to quality and craftsmanshio was outstanding. From design to completion, the contractor was in touch with us everyday in some manner. Skilled craftsmen and carpenter.

I hired G&V to repair some wind and rain damage to our home from the hurricanes in 2011. Brian and his crew were great. Extremely professional in their demeanor, they arrived on time, went straight to work, and completed the job in the estimated time and cost. They were extremely cooperative and helpful, eager to make certain that the job was done to my satisfaction, and willing to take care of a few other small things that needed to be done as well. When it was finished, it was impossible to tell that any damage had taken place. I will hire them again should a similar need arise.

I called G&V for an estimate on the curb work in October. Brian, the owner, came out the next week to look at the project and sent me an estimate the next day. His office called that week to make sure I got it and answer any questions. His estimate was higher than the other one I had received. It took me several months to make a decision and Angie's Lists reviews are why I went with G&V. When I finally called G&V, Brian came out a couple of days later and reviewed the site. He then called me to tell me he would file for the permit and then call me with a start date once the permit came through. He called as promised and told me they would begin work on Friday. They arrived that morning and set everything up so that they were ready to pour the concrete on Monday which they did. They then came back on Wednesday after it set and completed the project. Brian came by on Wednesday as they were finishing up to check in with me and explain why they completed the job as they did and give me recommendations for the future which will be helpful.

It was a very good experience. Brian made a firm appointment for an estimate, and then gave us options by breaking down what each thing cost. He arrived with his crew and finished the work rapidly, despite a few cold days and some rain. The work is beautiful and I hope (since I'm approaching retirement) that it will last for the rest of my lifetime! He also reseeded the lawn sections that were torn up and filled in the where the asphalt met the driveway. Good work.

We were extremely pleased with our dealings with Brian Goetz and his workers. His bid was reasonable and, more importantly, our new concrete patio is a fine piece of work. Our township was slow and demanding in granting a permit for the work. But Brian was persistent in making sure we got the permit in time to pour the concrete before the weather got too cold. Beyond that, he was conscientious about keeping us informed as to what was happening. When he finally got the permit, he showed up when he said he would and got the work done in a timely fashion. In addition, he was responsive to our concerns about restoring our property to its previous condition after all of the machinery was gone. With G&V, we got quality work at a reasonable price from a company that was focused in getting the work done and in listening to our concerns. We would happily do business with Brian again.

We had a problem with water collecting in front of our garage when it rained, with water going into the garage with heavy rain. Several Angie's List contractors gave us similar quotes about regrading and repaving our driveway. G&V was the only contractor to suggest that we consider adding a drain, to assure the end of the problem. G&V was terrific to work with. They first gave us a window of time when they could schedule the job and kept in touch with us as weather conditions affected the scheduling. They coordinated with our landscaper about related landscaping work. They showed up when they said they would, did professional work, and charged what they said they would charge. We no longer have the problem.

My wife and I needed a new driveway and sidewalk. The driveway probably hadn't been done since the house was built in the 60's, but we, as the new homeowners of just two years, realized we needed a professional to redo everything. A simple covering/coating wouldn't do the trick.We interviewed three different contractors -- tried contacting six -- but two of the three failed to respond/provide quotes in a timely fashion which they said they would. When a contractor misses their own deadline by days, if not weeks, without apology, I take that as a poor sign of business. Brian got back to me at multiple times promptly. Honestly, his bid came in higher than others, but he's the only one who seemed to have the professionalism to get the job done. In fact, I doubted the true quotes I got from the other contractors since the responsiveness and professionalism, and overall confidence in them seemed shaky. G&V IS WORTH EVERY PENNY. Brian and his G&V crew met all their deadlines, and did a great job, never bothering anyone. Hire them. They're worth it.
