Brian was with us from start to finish with our combined garage, powder room, laundry room remodel. He has an incredible attention to detail and he really cares about the quality of his work. There are very few problems that Brian cannot solve. He is also very creative, practical and talented. He works with great subs who showed up on time and did great jobs with the remodel. He and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Thanks Brian.

Extremely happy with G&V Construction Services. Replaced a concrete section of my front porch and the roof posts. Brian and his crew did an outstanding job. They are very knowledgeable and talented. My location makes even the simplest task complicated but these guys were not intimidated. Working around the complexities was no trouble at all. I would recommend G&V Construction Services to anyone who wants quality workmanship by people who know what hey are doing. Angi needs to add a few more stars for these guys.

Over the course of the last six months, Brian and his team competed several large projects for us including a covered front porch, paver driveway, cement walkway, and basement remodel with a full bathroom. We were extremely pleased with all of the work done and communication from Brian throughout the process. G&V does not cut any corners when competing jobs leading to high quality results and happy customers. We would highly recommend G&V and they will be our first choice when doing more work on the house in the future.

I've been meaning to write this review (good review!) for G&V for months now and I regretfully only just got to it. Brian and G&V came out to help us repair a concrete walkway on the side of the house in the summer of 2019 and did an amazing job. Not only were they very professional, they were also very kind and understanding of our problems. We are first time homeowners and bought an older home that had almost no repairs done by the previous (and original owners). We were facing water issues along the walkway that was seeping into our crawlspace. Brian came out, listened to our issues, and proposed a solution, clearly experience al the technical details. The estimate they provided was very fair. However, the reason why I was so happy with the entire process was due to an incident that occurred during the week they came out. One of neighbors or perhaps a passerby, reported us for not having a permit to do the work. As it was originally determined, we did not need a permit but did cost us a couple hours of headache and back and forth with the township, the permit reveiwer, and G&V to figure the situation out. Throughout the entire ordeal, Brian was patient and understanding. He was even able to reorder the cerment needed for the next day. I'm currently thinking about additional repairs needed around the house and would not hesitate to work with Brian and G&V again. Thank you!

Brian was the first of 3 contractors who responded to my request for an estimate. He was the most reasonably priced of all 3. He kept me up-to-date with any delays. He was a pleasure to work with and the final result looks great!

This was the second project that G&V have completed for me. After having my sidewalks replaced last year by G&V, I didn’t hesitate to call them when it came to this years excavation project. I needed to have a concrete pad, four concrete pillars and a stone patio removed. Brian provided me with an estimate the same day that I reached out to him and was able to complete the work within a week of my initial contact. The crew arrived early on the scheduled day and got right to work. Brian kept me in the loop throughout the project and went above and beyond to help me resolve an unforeseen issue when the excavation began. G&V did great work and I will definitely use them again.

Brian was great! He was very responsive throughout and after the project. He laid out several options for us and provided estimates for each. He helped us work through exactly what we wanted and helped us make decisions on what would be best given our budget and space. I chose Brian over other contractors because I felt he had the best handle on what we wanted and our potential water issues. He had some hiccups to fix that were left by previous contractors and made everything look flawless! Our retaining wall is fantastic and we received many compliments after the work was done. It makes me happy every time I walk out to the car.

G&V Construction Services were a top-notch company throughout the entire process. Brian came out and provided me with an estimate and recommendations at the beginning of the process and was onsite providing assistance throughout the week with his crew. They arrived on the first day with a four man crew that you could tell had experience in their roles. They provided the best service I could have asked for and exceeded my expectations for the finished product. Like many other people on this site, I had never heard of G&V Construction Services prior to experience and relied on them solely based on reviews and ratings with this site. I cannot say enough good things about my experience and the quality of work provided by Brian and his crew.

I cannot say enough good things about Brian and his crew! Brian was thoughtful and responsive and was himself present throughout the job. He generously spent a lot of time explaining every nuance of the project and gave me a window into the complexity and craft of concrete work. He and his crew are real old-school craftsmen -- experts in the technical details, thoughtful about the best approach given the circumstances and budget, and skilled at achieving an aesthetically pleasing result using painstaking finishes done by hand, down to the rosette pattern on our new sidewalk. Our steps and walkways looks fantastic and our old stone wall has been lovingly repointed and looks so beautiful! I had full trust in Brian's recommendations and the price was very reasonable for the amount of time they put into the job. I would recommend this company very highly and plan to use them again in the future.

Started with a sidewalk replacement. Because of the high quality of the work and the ease of working with Brian and the crew, we expanded the project to replace essentially all of the old hardscape on the property. Brian had great ideas and presented a number of different options for all the projects. We are extremely happy with the results and - without hesitation - would recommend G&V to anyone.

Someone came out to the property and took measurements, but never called or emailed me with an estimate for the project as promised.

Brian was very responsive to emails. Answered all my questions, even dumb ones. They had to work around rain and storm days in early December 2016. He brought a small friendly crew and excavating equipment. Had to remove fence to get equipment to back yard; put fence back up after done. They were very concerned about getting the job done right (very professional), and took into consideration my concerns. Very easy to talk with. They cleaned up and removed debris. Replaced what was moved. They went above and beyond what was expected. Need to see how things appear in the spring (though, I don't expect anything bad), but as of today - Excellent, excellent work.

Response time was great from the first call to receiving an estimate, discussing the project with me and performing the work. The provider was very professional and informative. Any question I had was answered in a very timely manner. The driveway looks great--best one on the street (except for my next door neighbors' who had theirs done by G&V the same time as mine).

Brian and his team did a great job. After they began work, they uncovered a problem with our sprinkler system underneath the sidewalk. They identified the problem quickly and postponed the work by a day so we could resolve the issue. They finished our job quickly and at a good price. They also explained the process as they worked through the job. Our new sidewalk looks terrific!

Everything went extremely well during the project, and the finished product looks fantastic. The workers were extremely polite, professional and responsive. They even went as far as to remove a non-functioning hard line gas grill in front of my house that ran beneath the patio I was replacing. Brian was wonderful to work with, and everything went exactly as I had hoped.

Brian and the rest of his crew were extremely responsive and professional. They started on time, ended on time, and the result was great. Even accommodated my last minute change within the timeline. Would definitely use them for more work.

During his initial visit, Brian took time to assess the old configuration, discuss my plans and offer several options. Although the job took only 2 days to complete it was a difficult 2 days that involved the jack-hammer removal of the old steps and forming and pouring the new concrete steps all of which was performed during an intense wave of heat and humidity. Each day the area was completely cleaned of debris. The following day, Brian stopped by to inspect the steps and took the opportunity to offer some do’s and don’ts that will help ensure that the concrete has an opportunity to “cure” properly. My new entry looks GREAT! Thanks again to all the G&V crew!

Estimated things promptly and arrived to do work on date promised. Did work professionally in the time estimated. When cracked drain pipe was discovered after removal of old sidewalk, offered a reasonable price to fix it and handled promptly. Did a beautiful job.
