Brian promptly arrived at the agreed upon time to perform all of the estimates. He explained in detail his honest thoughts and exactly what he was going to do on the project. We received an estimate emailed to us within a couple days. He even came back after the initial estimate and patiently worked with us in modifying some of the aspects of the proposed work. We received several quotes on this project and G&V?s prices were the best value (we received one slightly lower quote, but the contractor needed twice the time as G&V, thus not a better value). After contracting with Brian, we set up a mutually agreeable date for when the work would begin and G&V was there working exactly on the day and time we agreed upon, with Brian often stopping by the site and letting me know the status of the project. On top of doing excellent quality work at a fair price, we found conducting business with Brian and his workers to be a pleasure. G&V as a whole was professional, courteous, and in our opinion went the ?extra mile? for its customers. They did an excellent job cleaning up each day and Brian went out of his way to correct an issue that was caused by the carelessness of a contractor the previous home owners used. We have used G&V for other projects throughout the years and have always been pleased, but our latest experience takes the cake. We are very thankful we went with Brian and G&V and highly recommend them to others.

G&V did a very good job with our house. We hired G&V after interviewing five other contractors. We picked G&V after both Brian and the his project manager Tom came to the house and went over each aspect of the job in detail. We chose G&V in the end because they seemed to listen to what we wanted first, then they came up with ideas about how best to do it. They agreed with us in doing the project the best way rather than the fastest/easiest way. Some of the other contractors we interviewed were more likely to simply tell us how they would do it and not be flexible with what we wanted. After deciding on G&V, it took only a month or so before they were ready to begin the project. We had a few changes to the project in the meantime and the estimate changed as a result. Tom was always quick to respond to our concerns and discuss proposed changes and what they would cost. We went through several edits of the work plan with Tom prior to beginning the job but everything still started on schedule. During the project Tom & his team started each morning promptly and did not miss a day until the job was completed. They worked full days, answered our questions, and cleaned up the house each night. The project was completely finished in three weeks. We made a few changes during the project which resulted in a final price higher than the estimate. It took a while to make final decisions on paint colors but in the end Tom put samples on the wall and we chose what we wanted. Overall we were pleased with the work. The carpentry work on the walls and trim were neatly done and the floor work was tremendous. G&V hired good subcontractors: the work was done as requested and the electrical sub was responsive afterwards when we had questions. We have already recommended Brian and Tom to our friends who are starting remodeling projects. G&V did the project efficiently, professionally, and followed our wishes.

This was a true learning experience for me but could not of asked for a a better company to work with. I interviewed 4 other companies prior to lucking out and having G & V recommended to me. The overall process is overwhelming but they guided me through and included me in each step of the way over the length of the project. Bryan and Tom were creative and resourceful and maintained open communication with me. They recommended items and products while always giving me options. They were also very responsive to my questions and phone calls in a timely manner. I never feared that they would not get back to me as soon as they could. I would recommend G & V without any hesitation. They are professional and knowledgeable. The work crews were polite,respectful, friendly and on time each day. Even my neighbors have commented on have nice they were. Trust me when I tell you this is a top notch company and worth your time to talk with them.

I was very pleased with G&V - Tom Falcone was very professional in giving us an estimate and explaining the work to be done. Unlike other contractors that came, I was confident after the estimate that they knew where the water was entering the house and how to properly repair it. The estimate was very fair compared to other estimates and took into consideration both our budget and how we would use the outdoor space in the future. It took me a while to finally call Tom to move forward with the project but once I did, they were at our house 2 days later to complete the project. The work was completed quickly and professionally and Tom explained to us what work was being done through every step of the project. The finished result looks 100x better than before we started and most importantly, we no longer have water leaking into our house. When Tom came to give us an estimate on repairing our balcony, we also had him give us an estimate for a kitchen remodel. In the end, we decided to not have the work completed at all. G&V's estimate was better than other companies and seemed the most thorough. Tom had great ideas about how to remodel the kitchen and was very cognizant about our effort to expand the space while trying to keep costs down and minimize waste - before sending the estimate, he even went to Lowes to try to find cabinets to match what is currently in our kitchen. Overall, I'm very happy with the work completed by G&V. We'll definitely call them first for future projects.

Brian was superb from estimate to finishing. He did what he said he would do when he said he would do it. He gets extra credit for putting up with my wife's anxieties (working on her house equals surgery on her baby in terms of self-induced stress) and for being exceptionally accomodating to her issues. The workmanship is excellent and the whole crew was very courteous and professional. They also had to work around and through a Verizon crew which decided to rewire the street on the same day. They handled it. The only step short of perfection was that they moved a bunch of stuff in the garage to make room for their roller and did not move anything back after they finished. The "B" for responsiveness isn't exactly about responsiveness (Brian responded promptly to emails), but about communication. I felt it necessary to ask about the job schedule. I would have liked a more proactive approach to communicating the schedule. I would have given an A-minus or a B-plus if it had been possible to do so. I got realistic estimates from two contractors. The other wanted almost the same money for what amounted to patching and retopping the existing pavement. Brian's idea of a good job was a complete do-over for about 5% more money than the patch guy. When buying anything, I am diligent about getting value for the money. G&V came through nicely.

I totally trusted their work. I have no doubt they would have done a fabulous job. Everything about them was an A. We just felt their price was too expensive for what we were prepared to spend.

The guys did a great job on our old and outdated kitchen. They turned our closet of a kitchen into a mansion. The guys were always on time and did a very thourough job. Tom worked with us to keep the project within the means of our budget. There are always snags along the way in any project and these guys did a great job of taking care of everything. They made sure the snags didn't turn into a big deal. They are very good at making sure the project is done right the first time and will do whatever it takes to make sure that happens. I will be calling them again for any type of work around my house. I can trust them to get it done right. You should to.

After sending them an email with all my contacting information and the explanantion of the work that I need, they send me back an email asking me to call them to schedual an appotment for free estimate, so I called and left a message. Finally I received a call back to let me know that the job is so small for them to do.

Called Brian at G&V to get a quote on the above work to be done. He showed up on time to look over the job and was very professional and courteous explaining what needed to be done and what he would like to do. He also recommended that I have an engineer look at the wall to verify that what he needed to do would not be a problem. The engineer came out and looked over the job and gave his approval that it should not be an issue since it is a support wall. I gave Brian the go ahead to do the job. A date was set and he and his men showed up first thing in the morning as promised. I was introduced to the two employees who would be working on the job and we all went over what was going to be done again to make sure that we all agreed on the job. The guys got started and worked throughout the day to tear out the old plaster wall (bottom portion only) so that they could see what the damage was and repair it. By the end of the day, the old support beams had been removed and a new one put in its place. The next morning the guys showed up again on time and used the day to complete the rest of the wall by pushing it back in place (almost an inch and a half) and then put additional support wood under the wall to make sure it was structurally sound. New wallboard was put in place of the removed plaster area and then everything was sealed up and smoothed out. They were able to save the original wooden stoop that separated the two rooms. The guys did an excellent job on the interior portion of the house making sure that all was correct and satisafactory to my liking. They were very professional, courteous and neat when they did their work making sure not to make a mess of the other rooms with dust and debris. It was a quite extensive repair and Brian and his crew did a wonderful job. I would certainly recommend them to others and will definitely use their services again. Great company. At the same time this was all going on they were preparing the outside concrete work to be done as well. The driveway was dug out and prepped as well as the area in the back yard. They poured the concrete the next day and did a great job with that as well. Cleaned up everything when they were done and it looks great. A solid A+.

G&V was very professional and did an excellent job. The estimator was on time, to the minute and thorough. Brian from G&V answered my questions about the estimate promptly and completely, and came back to take another look at the job site when more work was added to the job; he was great at follow-up. They started work on the scheduled day, arriving promptly, and did a professional job. The workers were courteous, explaining what was going to be done, and left the site clean and neat. Work quality was excellent, as was the level of professionalism and follow-through. The price was very competitive with one other bid. I would definitely use them again.

It went very well. They did very good work and redid their estimates as I made design decisions.

We were extremely pleased with the professionalism of this company. We called them and within two days they were out to discuss what we needed done. Within a week after we got the appraisal the work is complete. They arrived first thing in the morning and the job was done by end of day. We found Tom amd his company on Angie's List.

It went very well. Brian (owner) kept me in the loop the entire process. He did what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it. He was available to answer questions, and he did so patiently and providing clear answers I could understand. He corrected a problem that was created by the original contractor and did the work correctly. He and his crew did a good job of cleaning up during the work (taking away all the sidewalk debris) after they were done (they left it pretty much as they found it). The final product looked great. In fact, my neighbor asked me for his contact info.

I did not choose this company; however they came on time and promptly and returned phone calls.

I knew it was going to look good, but the final results were more than I expected. I really appreciated the skill/workmanship G&V Construction Serv. put into this project. Brian and his employees were always timely and pleasant. They made sure the work area was cleaned-up at the end of each day. Brian, thanks for your patience in answering all my questions with a thorough explanation. You made my first experience dealing with a contractor a good one. I look forward to working with you and your company in the future to complete my next home improvement project(s).

In the end, we chose another contractor who was closer to our home and came in a little cheaper than G&V.

I don't remember being unhappy with them.

Brian and team were great. They were ontime for the estimate, ontime for the start, on-schedule for the work and on-buget for the bill. Brian is a communacative owner and kept me in the loop the entire time. The project turned out to be a bit more complicated than expected, but they came up with a creative solution which looks great and kept to the original budget. As expected the lawn took some damage, but they reseeded and thatched, and it looks great now. If all contractors were as squred away as G&V, would wouldn't need Angie's List.

The overall service from the initial estimate to the final finished product was excellent. The owner, Brian, came out to do the estimate on a Saturday morning and answered all my questions. He clearly knows this business, and offered excellent suggestions about what patio layout style and paver stone colors would look good. And in the end, we could not be happier with how nice the patio looks. During the work, whenever I had a concern or new question about something, he was very responsive by email or phone to address my concerns and answer questions. Customer service is definitely a high priority for G&V, and their workmanship is excellent. And his crew's cleanup was fantastic. They re-seeded the ground that they had to dig up and the new grass is already back in. The backyard where the patio is looks amazing. There was a minor mishap with my driveway, but Brian resolved that situation. I would highly recommend G&V and will be contacting them in the future for my next house project.

They were great and on time. They showed up when they said they would and were flexible with our time. It was a good experience.

We engaged G&V to convert half of our two car garage to a mudroom. From the outset, Tom Falcone, the project manager, was a pleasure to work with. Always punctual, responsive and helpful in explaining every aspect of the project. When an issue arose, Tom was quick to bring it to our attention and provide a potential solution to the issue. Ever attentive to detail, Tom ensured that all aspects of the job were carried out with precision and professionalism. The project was finished on schedule as promised. Even after the project was completed, Tom checked in to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction. We love our new mudroom and we would highly recommend Tom Falcone and his team of dedicated workers to perform any remodeling project. We look forward to calling upon G & V in the future to remodel our basement.

They provided me with a quote but it was higher than what I had expected. They were polite and professional. I decided not to use them just because of the pricing.

Brian the owner was great and responsive to work with and very responsive. The measurements and the asphalt work were spot on. My only reservation was the asphalt seemed to need a sealcoat on top, as it would chip a bit from tire wear (though we kept vehicles off an entire week). The custom drain work was a tough task, and it ended up clipping my cable and porch light line (they did call PA-1, but the cable company (Comcast) mismarked and had the cable run under (!?!) the driveway (aside: G&V called Comcast, and Comcast came out within 24hrs to reconnect and later properly buried the line) - the other line was installed by previous homeowner, and I didn't know where it was - G&V fixed it themselves and all is good). The drain works great, and while the asphalt grading doesn't send 100% of the water flow to the drain, its 90%.

They were very nice. They were very knowledgeable, very nice and I was very impressed. I am considering about using them.
