Description of Work: Still waiting for second bid, its been one week and no response since they were informed I ordered my cabinets ,countertop and tile floor.

Description of Work: Very Professional ! Came out and measured and e mailed me a timely estimate. I had 2 previous companies walk off the measurements instead of actually using a tool. G@V Cost did a excellent job and arrived promptly in the am to do the job. I will use them again in the near future!......Dig out driveway and curb cut out....asphalt...looks great!

Description of Work: We had a broken down shed on a broken down concrete slab. We ordered a new shed from a company upstate which they build according to your specs. We then had to deal with the broken concrete - so once again we called Brian Goetz and his crew. (G&V Construction) They ripped out the horrible broken slab and installed a beautiful and perfect 10x20 ft concrete floor for our new shed. Following this job, we had our old driveway chopped up and a new under base (?) of stones applied as well as a great looking blacktop over it, We also had a few broken 80 year old stones replaced with perfect results. We were completely satisfied as we were several times before. We will continue to call these young men for any problems we may have with this old house in the future. They have made it possible for us to feel confident about the condition of a house we love.

Description of Work: It was a pleasure working with Brian. He is punctual, professional and reliable. In order to sell our home, according to township Use and Occupancy Inspector, we needed to replace 4 sidewalk concrete slabs, including obtaining a permit. Like most consumers, we don't hire just anyone, we research and look for the most reliable contractor who is honest and talented. Upon recommendations from Angiest List and a friend, I hired him and was very satisfied.

Description of Work: Once again, we contracted with G&V Construction to have the exterior of our house painted. They concluded our interior remodeling (kitchen reno/new bathroom/tile, etc last fall with amazing results). Our single stucco home is 82 years old. We have lived here 39 years and the outside of the house had gone from bad to worse. We called our house the "public eyesore." The G&V crew went to work with their incredible skills and two weeks later they had transformed the eyesore to a house we are now proud of. And, believe it or not, there was not one speck of paint on the concrete, the roofing or a leaf of any bush. People now stop to admire it. Anyone in this area, let G&V help you out. You won't regret it. They're the best.

Description of Work: I submitted a report on this company earlier this year after they installed a new bathroom for us. They have now finished a kitchen and laundry room remodel on our 81 year old house. Coping with crooked floors, ancient wiring, homemade plumbing, insulation made from old newspapers and a multitude of other problems in this house which was built by its original owner did not deter them. Everything was brought up to date (and up to code) without complaint despite the expected problems. We now have a kitchen and laundry room with all the modern amenities yet the character of this old house remains They will soon be returning to work on our hideous outdoor cement problems. They will paint the exterior of our house in the Spring. I marvel at their abilities and would recommend them to anyone who needs a professional and superior company.

Description of Work: Early this year, we decided we needed to add a bathroom to the first floor of our house. We began calling local contractors and was dismayed to find that, after calling at least 8 or 9, only one had the courtesy to return our calls. He came over and said he could do the job and would come back with an estimate. Three months went by. I called him back several times with no response. By the time he got back to us, we had hired G&V Construction here in Havertown, PA. This was the best thing we could have done. Brian Goetz is an honest, knowledgable amd courteous young man. His crew is outstanding. I cannot say enough about their skills as well as their work ethic and honesty. I was comfortable in leaving them at work in my home and never had a moment of concern about it. They never let me down. Our project involved knocking down outside walls, rebuilding, adding new roofing, windows, stucco and cement work and much much more. Our home is 80 years old and that presented some obstacles that they handled beyond anything I could have expected. We now have a brand new full bathroom which is stunning and beautifully tiled. They helped us make decisions about styles and colors and you name it. We are not through yet. We are now having a kitchen remodel and will move on to cement work outside our home as well as the exterior of the house being painted. I would recommend these young men to anyone. Even the electrical and plumbing inspectors said what a pleasure it was to see work of this quality. I'm trying to find a way to adopt them. Angie, thank you.
