After interviewing several paving companies and getting the run-around and no-show from the contractor we decided on, we had to start our search again. We are very happy to have chosen Pennsy in our round 2. Zack the owner came to look at the site within 1 hour of my calling and gave us a written estimate detailing how and what would be done. The work was quickly scheduled when my neighbor and I approved the proposal. On the day of construction, Zack and his crew showed up on time and started the work right away. After a new foundation, a binder layer and a wear layer, the driveway came out looking absolutely beautiful! We highly recommend Pennsy for their knowledge, experience, honesty, courtesy and promptness. It's worth noting that the final clean-up was also very detailed, no debris or loose material was left at the job site or in the street! I have been through several driveway re-paving projects for my properties and Pennsy was by far the best one that I have ever hired.

I had both owners working on my patio project and they definitely lacked attention to detail. It was disappointing that I had to point out several chipped pavers in my "new" patio along with a few lousy cuts. Damage to yard not properly addressed. One of the owners (Jarren) promised he would call the next day with a date he would be back to make the corrections. That promise was made in Sept 2017 and I never heard back from Jarren or Zach. Many voicemails and texts have been simply ignored. In the end, feels like I dealt with gypsies. Be careful who you do business with!

I couldn't be more satisified with the turnout of my recently resurfaced asphalt driveway. Zack and Jarren, of Pennsy Paving & Concrete, were the first to get back to me shortly after submitting quote requests on Home Advisor. Other companies wanted me to do all the leg work for them, meanwhile Zack called and offered to stop by my house to see what needed to be done. He promptly emailed me a fair quote and they soon gained another happy customer. They're a punctual, clean, professional and respectful team. I'm a brutal OCD perfectionist so trust me when I tell you their work is solid and symmetrical.

Hired to redo curb and top coat driveway. Priced reasonably. I used to do new home construction and for someone to impress me it takes a lot. Penny's impressed me. They showed up with the proper equipment and crew to do the job. What amazed me was the prep work that people don't see. Some companies cut this to save money. Pennsy did not. They went as far as putting grass seed where the lawn was disturbed.

ZH replaced 100 ft. of sidewalk, a driveway apron and a 20 ft. section of curb. I had researched the going rate in my area before using Home Advisor, so I knew the approximate cost ahead of time. ZH quoted me a little less than I had calculated, so I gave them the job. The quality and appearance of the finished work are first class. I would highly recommend them.

Make sure the paving doesn't leave puddles.

Zack of ZH Paving did a great paving job with a difficult job site. He had some good ideas on how to handle some unique site related problems to produce a fine finished product. His communication was very good. He was there when he said he would be there. He was finished when he said he would be finished.

Very easy to work with.

Zack and his team were a pleasure to work with. We had an unusual request and tight time frame. ZH Paving handled it and made our customer happy!

Zach called immediately after I posted the job on advisor. Although I told him that upper Dublin Township had requested that a concrete block be replaced, he neglected to contact upper Dublin Township about their requirements in doing the work. When I asked him to repeat the work to comply with Township requirements he said it was too much trouble and to just pay him for the work he had already done.
