Description of Work: Project involved a small-space but was not a little a little job. |Custom Home Mechanics did an excellent job replacing old linoleum stair treads and risers with new wooden ones, staining stairs to match retro paneling, installing and staining wooden railings and painting other walls in stairwell. They also replaced old linoleum landings with new linoleum. |I did not know this provider before. I could not have been more satisfied with the quality of the work and people and their professionalism.

Description of Work: They put in a new bathroom, which included a tub to ceiling surround of tile around the shower and tile half way up the rest of the bathroom. The workers were on time and pleasant to work with. When something wasn't done by a jr. worker that was not up to snuff, it was quickly fixed by the more experienced of the group, with many apologies from the owner and crew. They worked quickly everyday since I only have one bathroom. We were very impressed with the work, and are now enjoying our new bathroom. Thanks Stan and crew....with special thanks to Scott and Shawn for making a stressful situation much more pleasant, and for doing a great job.

Description of Work: Demolished and hauled away entire old bathroom. Replaced tub, toilet and sink, walls, ceiling, floors, installed new tiles on walls and floor, new fixtures, paint, grouted, caulked and sealed tiles in tub and floor. Installed electrical light in ceiling and moved outlet.

Description of Work: Stan and I had spoken on the phone to schedule an estimate for some work on a house we had just purchased, but not yet closed. We are out of town and can only gain access to the house through careful coordination with the seller's agent. After Stan was 20 minutes late, I called to see where he was. He was on his way to another job. He had forgotten our appointment. While he apologized, he wasted hours of my time since I now have to coordinate with another contractor for another day and take another day off work.

After meeting with them, and seeing the quality of work they were doing and how respectful they were to my home, I felt very comfortable leaving them to work their magic while I went to work. They made the process painless, which was a surprise since I have had more than my fair share of bad contractors. They accommodated all of my requests and addressed all of my concerns. They worked with me to figure out the best uses of space and came up with incredible options in materials and colors. I hired them in 2013 to do my sons bathroom (I chose to start small to gauge trust). I was so impressed, I had them come back to remodel my kitchen and master bath. They are not even finished and I am in awe of their craftsmanship already. They are competitive in price but their work far surpasses any contractor I have ever hired. I have had a vision of my "perfect" kitchen for years now and finally my dreams are coming true.
