The end result was sensational. Their work transformed our home. And the quality of the end result was amazing. We had them back just once, and that was to tighten the kitchen faucet. Amazing craftsmanship. Stan and his team were wonderful. Every day they cleaned up whatever was required, and their attitude was top-notch. Communication with Stan was great. He got a sense of who we were and what we liked, and would present to us limited design options that were always within our taste/aesthetic. Of particular note, they were so **** nice to our dog. We were concerned about them feeling like Buddy was in the way, but they showed him so much affection. Really nice guys.

The owner of Custom Home Mechanics was very good. He communicated in a timely manner, displayed good craftsmanship and good remodeling ideas. While there was an issue with some of the electric work, it was later corrected

Stan was extremely professional, always makes himself available to bounce ideas off of, definitely a perfectionist, and takes pride in his work. We were very impressed with his attention to detail. We were also impressed how after every day of work his team cleaned up the project site before they left for the day. They always made sure it was a safe environment in case our 5yo or dog happened to walk in during the evening when they weren't there. He always stays in communication throughout the project and wants to make sure you are pleased. We couldn't be happier with our new kitchen! Stan is someone you can trust. I would recommend Stan and his team for any home project. In fact, we are already in discussion for another project in our house after our great experience.

Custom Home Mechanics did a fantastic job on our bathroom remodel. Stan was very helpful in planning the project, walking us through the process and quantifying supplies we would need. He had some great ideas and provided feedback as we shopped. The team did beautiful work, and they were very friendly and respectful. I was completely comfortable having them in my house while I was there or away. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely work with them again.

Stan was great. We first met late in the summer to discuss our desires for renovating our two full bathrooms. He came out to our house and we discussed ideas, providing a formal quote a few days later. Once we decided to move forward with Stan, he added us to his schedule, with work commencing in early November. We did the bathrooms sequentially so that we would not be without a bathroom. The first one finished right before Thanksgiving, and the second one ran most of December. Both bathrooms required complete wall demolition (they were the old 1980's tile halfway up the wall) and removal of all fixtures (except for the bathtub, which we kept). Stan's guys were incredibly courteous, friendly, and professional. My kids loved having them around and they were very engaging of the kids. They kept the house as clean as is reasonable for such a major renovation. Stan worked with us to keep the price within our budget but also identify high quality materials and fixtures to make sure the bathrooms had a modern, high-end feel, while simultaneously maximizing the relatively small spaces they take up. For example, during the demo, they found about a foot of unused dead space in the wall, enabling us to go from having a 39" shower to a 48" shower. He worked with the quirks of the house to make sure everything is built well and solidly (rebuilding a floor that was unsupported and framing a medicine cabinet that didn't fit fully in the wall, for example). Stan attended to every detail and concern that we raised to make sure we were completely satisfied with how the bathrooms turned out, and that's exactly what we are: completely satisfied. We would highly recommend Custom Home Mechanics!

Before the project began I was in communication with Stan about details. He always responded within the same day or by the next day. When the work began Stan and crew were timely and professional. Stan truly wants the customer to love the end result. While installing my new plumbing he added shut off valves where they were missing, no additional charge. Stan worked with me and did not nickel and dime me. I will use them for future projects.

He did not follow up with his promise to deliver drawings within the week (3 weeks and 3 calls later) I was not impressed with the drawings (just plain CAD/CAM drawing). 3D just meant drawn from a perspective - only paper drawings. The design did not offer much more than my own imagination provides

Stan and his team were fantastic from the start. Him and his team were extremely nice, punctual, and always very clean. They had the bathroom completely gutted in a less than a day and then had specialists coming in and out throughout the next 10 or so days until the everything was finished. They even built and stained a custom cabinet that is covering a very ugly oil burner that is sitting in the bathroom. Overall, I am very pleased with Custom Home Mechanics, their work, and their professionalism. I can't wait to use them on future projects.

They did a good job. There was no additional cost. They did a decent job but there was one issue. It should be for 3 hours. The gentleman who did the work wasn't the one I spoke to on the phone. The gentleman who came in to do the work after about an hour to an hour and a half, he was ready to pack up and leave. When I inspected his work, I found some areas that seemed incomplete. He was nice but he acted as if he thought I was going to finish it because he left me with the grout. He said I can keep it in case I need to do any touch-ups.

Employee went to wrong address, 45 minutes away, so was late to appointment. Job was done all in one visit, which was nice. Old grout was so poorly and widely applied that it was hard to remove it all. I think they did the best they could. Shower insert looks much, much better.

The provider arrived promptly. I explained what needed to be done and they went right to work. They were very gracious and accomplished everything that I requested. I was extremely pleased with the results of their work, especially the replacement of a missing tile on my bathroom floor and the cleanliness of the hall bathroom shower. The bathrooms looked brand new after they finished. I highly recommend this provider.

After having to follow up on my own several times through email and phone calls to even get a response, the provider did not make me feel as if the job was a priority. Even though I purchased a deal to provide repair services, I was told that he does not have guys that come out to specifically provide those services. His gave the impression that because it is such a busy time for him and contractors in general, a smaller job like mine was not worth it right now. To be fair he offered to put me on the calendar in three weeks time and if it didn't take a week and a half to get a response I would have considered it! Maybe for bigger paying jobs he is more responsive!

Stan was great. Punctual and professional. He took care to use caulk that went well with our counter/tile coloring and made sure everything looked great.

Stan kept great communiation with us and arrived on time. We have a rescue dog, Shane, who is skittish around men. Stan was awesome with him which took the stress off of us so that we didn't have to keep Shane outside barking the whole time.

I purchased the $99 Big Deal for 3 hours of kitchen or bathroom caulking and grout restoration. Stan K, the owner of Custom Home Mechanics, contacted me directly and scheduled the work at my convenience. He was punctual, courteous, and very professional. Originally I thought Stan would need to regrout our master bath shower, but he assured me he could repair the damage using sanded caulk. He then proceeded to a local home repair chain store and purchased the necessary materials. Upon his return from the store, Stan went right to work. He was quick and proficient and I was blown away by the results. The master bath shower looks like new again. He also caulked all around the master bath where the walls meet the tiled floor as well as around the counter tops in our kitchen. Stan did a masterful job and I would highly recommend his company for any bath or kitchen project, large or small. I did reimburse Stan for the caulk he purchased in addition to the original $99. I was so pleased I also tipped him. You can't go wrong by hiring Custom Home Mechanics.

I purchased a three hour "deal" with Custom Home Mechanics. Stan arrived about fifteen minutes past our appointment time, which was not a problem. He was friendly and professional. He worked quickly, and completed the projects that I originally had in mind, and did a few others. He cleaned up his work area. He completed his work well within the three hour allocated time. The finished product looks much better than the splitting grout and the old and disintegrating caulk that caused me to have it repaired. I would call him again for caulking/grouting.
