The experience was fine. They called and showed up on time. They cleaned up quickly. They were fine.

One of my tenants had been having problems with her gas furnace on and off for a year. We had several contractors look at it, who all did the same thing (jiggle the ignition wiring to start) and pronounce it fixed. Finally, I found the coupon here on Angie's list for 50% off of the service fee so I decided to give the experts a try. They came out right away, made an evening appointment for her and ended up replacing the ignition part altogether (they had one in the truck!) right then and there. She's been warm ever since and I will definitely call them again if I have any other issues. I gave them a B for price because they are not the cheapest rates I've ever seen, but they are within range and competitive (in my opinion).

Their service is good. It is a pretty standard operation. I pay one price a year which covers my heater and air conditioner. They will service it whenever needed.

They were pretty flexible and came when we needed them. They did a pretty good job. The only time I wasn’t happy was when they came to change the pipe during the flood of 2011. They had to leave in the middle of doing the work and then didn’t come back for many months. There was a reason because of the problems that swamped them during the flood.

Their service is good. They do quality work.

Everything with the quote process was very good. They quoted about $9000. Everything was fine but I haven’t hired them yet.

Gary came to our house to give us an estimate for replacing our oil steam furnace with a gas furnace and changing the steam radiators to base board hot water heaters. He said the job was so complicated that he needed the service manager to come out so he could prepare an estimate. That was four months ago. He never called or came back. We found another HVAC company to do the job.

I was working at the time, so I wasn’t home when it was done, but my husband didn’t have any complaints. They were in and out pretty quickly considering they were putting in a whole new furnace. The whole thing didn’t take them more than a day. They did a leave a little bit of a mess in the basement; they didn’t really clean up after themselves too well. We didn’t really compare their prices. We didn’t have to wait too long for them.

When my furnace stopped working on a Saturday afternoon, I called UGI to come out and take a look at it. Their service tech was there within a few hours and diagnosed the problem. Unfortunately, he did not have the part necessary to complete the repair and there was some question about the possibility of a carbon monoxide leak. Since the unit was already 18 years old, I decided to replace it rather than proceed with the repair. At that time the Central PA area was still recovering from unprecidented heavy rains that caused a lot of localized flooding. UGI was overwhelmed with work on furnaces that had been flooded in customers' basements. They still managed to fit me into their schedule and had the heat back on within a few days. The two workmen that did the actual replacement, were terrific. They started my job at 4pm, knowing that they were going to be their for hours and they were. Despite that, they were very pleasant and had a terrific attitude. They completed the job and cleaned up the area when they were finished. Overall I was very happy with their prompt service.The other two service centers that I had contacted had told me it would be at least a week before they could come to just look at my furnace. Kudos to UGI for getting my furnace up and running so quickly!

The work was done as scheduled, for the cost quoted, and they did a good job cleaning up after the work. We were very pleased with work.

I called UGI at 8AM, and they said they would dispatch someone in the morning. By 11AM someone had called saying they were on their way. In less than 30 minutes the service technician had found and replaced the capacitor which was no longer functional. Overall I was very pleased with the service they provided. When I called they gave me their rates up front (although they didn't mention that there is a fuel surcharge they charge as well which is why I gave them a "B" rating, I don't know if this is standard or not for HVAC repair companies), they showed up promptly and found and fixed the problem very quickly!

We belong to their service and so they come in and do the service. If we have any problems, we call them and they come in night or day. We like them. There are other companies who charge more for the same service.

I have a maintenance agreement with them for the heating, air conditioning and water heater. I use them because they were here when I bought the house. They have always been very good. They come out promptly and competently. I have always had a maintenance agreement with them. They do the billing and accounting well. They are really professional and helpful.

They are great. The service technicians, the whole staff is great. When we call them they are very quick to call back and show up as promptly. We even called them on Christmas Eve and they called back immediately and had the problem fixed fast. The service is efficient and professional. We signed a service contract and love the service.
