UGI Heating Cooling & Plumbing

I AM LIVID WITH THEIR SERVICE. My husband and I have been living in our home 4 years without a single issue with our cooling system. We had UGI come out to "service" our system and said everything looked great....2 months later something with our compressor blew...that was $400. Then this morning, less than 30 days later, we apparently needed a brand new thermostat.....another $400 and guess what? MY HOUSE IS STILL NOT COOLING DOWN. So I called and said how it is absolutely ridiculous that there is still an issue especially after charging us to "fix" the thermostat. I am obviously frustrated. I work from home, its hot and I am pregnant with 4 pets in my home that are distressed from the rising heat and their customer service agent has the audacity to be BEYOND RUDE and tell me "to have a better day" as if it was MY FAULT...ok. It is very odd that ever since they came to "service" our central air system they've had to come back THREE TIMES and the system STILL NOT WORK. BEWARE!

The installers did a good job, no complaints. The salesperson refused to give us any paperwork or digital information on a warranty. I needed that warranty in case we look to sell the house. Shameful!

They were responsive to my questions and to minor issues that I had. They addressed my concerns right away and stand behind their work. I was very pleased with the service.

First, the price quoted on the phone to us the day before service was not the price we had to pay after the water heater was installed. It was $200. MORE. Then, 2 days after installation, we noticed water on the basement floor around the base of the heater. We called, someone came out the next day and said the new piping was incorrectly installed. He fixed it (hopefully). This expensive water heater also makes a louder, rattling noise when it is heating up water, compared to our older model, the same brand, Bradford White. We can only hope this water heater lasts.

It went well. He was on time and got the job done well first time. I can't remember the price and my bill is in my house away from me, so I can't look at it. I was relieved the price was less than I expected though.

All went well. Scheduling service was handled politely and professionally. Service offered me a better deal than I found on website. Service man was very professional and polite. He always called me approximately 20 minutes from the time he planned to arrive. Service man always arrived withing the time frame promised.

Everything went well. I was pleased with the results.

The heat pump they put in was a manufactured it went out within 2 yrs. I have a service contract with them. I will use them again since they have changed manufacturer.

I pay $35 a month. I think their pricing is reasonable. I have never had an issue with them. I have never had to pay any exorbitant repair costs. So I have been very pleased with them. They are very good at getting somebody out there for me. They always work around my schedule. For me they are a long standing local company and I have never had an issue with them, I have worked with them a long time and I have never had a problem with them.

I have a service contract with UGI. I am very pleased with their work. I have been using them for a long time, it is about 20 years.

The lady answering the phone was both polite, professional and personable. She took my information, put me on hold and came back on to say they only serviced homes in my area with a service contract. I'm 19 road miles from their office, so that left me wondering if they service anyone not under contract. The Angie's List entry should reflect their "contract only" service policy, or the radius they are willing to travel without you having to sign a long-term contract. To her credit, she did ask me three very basic troubleshooting questions ( what kind of system? thermostat calling for heat?, did you check the breaker?) so she showed genuine concern. I'd work with her again, but not at the cost of an annual contract.

Th few times I've called them they've always come promptly and they've done an amazing job.

The price was good I like it and they're very reliable. It was excellent they were a little bit extra by doing some stuff that they didn't really have to do. They advised me with some things that I needed you know they were able to help me with that. SO they went the extra mile for me and everything was clean when they were done so I didn't have a problem.

The service was free, because I have a service contract. I would approve of using them. Workers were professional.

They service is very comprehensive. We have all service calls and annual maintenance included in our contract.

We've been long standing customers with them for 23 years. We also have an annual maintenance contract with them.

I had a problem with the thermostat and they send someone out, he gave me hard time about it and I had a mechanic come in and change the thermostat. They come out the guys know what they are doing and they were very polite and take care of the work that has to be done.

They're alright. I didn't like the repair person. I don't think she did what she said she would do.

We've used UGI for 15 years. We call them when we need them. They're responsiveness is excellent.

They're great. They're very punctual, they do a good job and clean up if there is any dirt or anything.

It went very well. The work was done with great professionalism. The technicians covered the carpet leading up to the attic where the furnace was. They took their time removing the old furnace and installing the new one in our very hot attic. We received a new pad for the air conditioning unit. We also received a new programable thermostat. The new system works great.

I am very happy with them. UGI provided a quote and it was really high. They never actually gave me the quote because I wasn't able to schedule in coming over.

Well first I wanted the boiler moved to the other room closer to the outside wall . That didn't happen because they didn't want to run a few more feet of piping. So since that now I got Gas line running a cross my basement ceiling and exhaust pipe running about half way a crossed the room were it exits my house. Instead of it going right out the wall were I asked them to place my boiler...

They were excellent. We did have a back-up in the cellar that flooded out too. They came out after the place went through remediation. They were very courteous and helpful. They were efficient too, since everything is still working great.

There was discussion with my wife and the employees and they talked about the state of the art heating pump, which my wife asked them questions about. They said the heat pump was outstanding, so we had them install that for us instead. We used it last winter and we were satisfied. It was also big cost saving for us since we are no longer used oil. They have also come out to do repairs for us as well if we need it.They were responsive to our questions too and they were respectful and did not out to hide anything. They were outstanding is all of their service and sales.
