We have been using them to maintain our AC for a couple of years, and they are always extremely professional, thorough, and honest. We started having major problems with our unit last summer, and they determined that we needed a major repair to our outdoor AC unit. We were dreading the potential cost, but they were able to do the job, and do it extremely well, for much less than we anticipated. I would highly recommend their services!

They came out and fixed where it was stopped up and I have not had any problems since. He was very nice and cleaned up after he was done. He put on shoe covers and was very professional. I would definitely use them again.

Plumber arrived within the specified time period set by the company. He was a professional with 17 years experience and was quite knowledgeable. He installed the toilet that I provided in an efficient manner, tested for leaks and cleaned up the area. Carried the old toilet to the curb. He also put a new handle that I provided on the shower valve that stopped the leak, thus avoiding a further cost to us!

I would use them as they came in an emergency and they came right away. They are responsive come right away and their charges wont be over what they could be.

Serviced the system and replaced the fan motor. Done well and reasonably priced.

The repairs went very well. I was not present while the work was completed as I work outside the U.S. However, my tenants had nothing but praise for the professionalism of the technician. I particularly like that the technicians provide detailed description of the work completed on the bill, so I know exactly what was done and have it for the home's records.

Bill was very prompt and quickly determined the problem. Unfortunately it wasn't a prompt fix. He had to return to the office to pick up needed parts. Even with that the bill was very fair. We noticed that there was still a very small leak the next day. I called again and they sent Bill back out. After following the pipes higher up he found a very small leak that was fixed. Since then we have had no other issues. They didn't charge us anything for the second visit.

Good, the guy analyzed the situation, figured we had to snake the drain a bit deeper/farther than I had on my own (w/ my 25 ft generic 'snake') He brought in the 'big gun' and got it cleared. Took just under an hour. I'd recommend them.

Drain was unclogged within 5 minutes. The technician arrived the same day I contacted HL Bowman, so that was a pleasant surprise. He was professional and got right to work when he arrived. I'm very pleased overall with the work performed.

I began experiencing a backup in my basement from my sewer on New Years Eve. I thought nothing of it, I thought that it was just my washer causing the backup since I washing several loads of clothes. However, the smell was horrible and then there was the disgusting stuff on the floor. I called my home warranty company who came out to clear the line. The guy told me that I had tree roots blocking the line, the warranty company doesn't cover removing them, and he doesn't do it either. I called several places here on Angie's list and H.L. Bowman was the only company to respond, They were even going to come out on the same day, but to my fault, I missed them. I promptly called back and they were gracious enough to schedule an early morning appointment the next day. Jeff came out and he was wonderful. Wonderful isn't even enough to describe his professionalism, his knowledge of the problem. He went over everything thoroughly. He asked specific questions that I was able to answer. After approximately 2 hours of working, he removed the roots, cleaned the line, and suggested how to keep them at bay. The cost of the service was even 1/3 of the cost that I had paid a previous company to clean my line a few years ago. If you want an honest company, that is professional, and very reasonable. H.L. Bowman is the company for you. I will definitely be using them again and recommending them to my friends and family. I pray God continues to Bless this company and its employees.

I told them we had no hot water - they sent someone the following morning. The heater is at least 30 years old - my concern was being told the unit was too old to be repaired or the parts were no longer available. The technician diagnosed the problem as minor. A small inexpensive part was replaced and the heater is working great again. Their service was quick, professional, reasonably priced. I appreciate their honesty in doing just the repair that was necessary and no more! I will use them again and spread the word as well.

The only thing I didn't like, they didn't clean up really afterwards. There was still like dust on the window sills from where the guy was drilling. I didn't realize until after he left. Just stuff in my yard that wasn't really...for that type of service. It cost me $7000. It wasn't just a minor service so I expected a little bit more. I had spoken to one of the technicians before he left and I was supposed to be given a receipt like right away. I had to end up calling like two weeks later for my receipt. Like calling and saying, 'Hey you guys did the service, you charged me the day you left and you never sent me a receipt'. So that was a real pain in my but because I took time out of my day. Interactions were very good. The work turned out good except for the mess that they left. They should clean up and ask potential customers anything. They were kind of in a rush because the project kind of lasted longer than I guess they expected. The technician I was speaking to said that they only sent him out. This is like a two men job. They could have provided more people. They had a lot of pressure on this one guy so I kind of felt a little bad for him. When he left, there were two other new technicians that were here to try and hurry up and finish the job. I guess nobody cared about cleaning up and stuff like that. I had to myself rinse off the windowsills. This was a rental unit that I own. So this is more time out especially when you've finished cleaning something up. I had to do it again. This is a brand new widow that I had installed. This wasn't like an old window sill and dust going on...no, this is brand new. I had to spent $4000 on new windows for a rental unit. So you know just little stuff like that. Price is pretty good compared to what I wanted. I give it a B for the price. It could have been lower. I think the work was well done. Responsiveness I probably would give a D because I had to call in and this wasn't the first time that I had dealt with them. They did another repair for me down in the cellar and I didn't get my receipt as well. They have a problem with responsiveness and just sending out receipts when stuff is done. They had pretty good professionalism. I would consider them.

The man that use to come every time apparently left them and so I was disappointed because this man was not responsive and he charge more. He showed up on time.

He's always been great. I haven't had a lot of problems, he fixed everything so that I don't have a lot problems. Well there price of it, the price to me I actually said to him it was for fixture on the sink and I said if what you do by gold plated units or what, it's a ridiculous price, so definitely the price.
