Superbly! I was concerned about watter leakage since the section of pipe to be replaced was above bookshelves, but the plumber was extremely careful and drained the system well. He explained as he went along and was methodical and careful. The last time we needed plumbing we remembered Bowman from angies list, but didn't go back on-line. We called the other Bowman (GF Bowman) in Harrisburg PA and it was a botched job from start to finish and required two visits since they broke a part. I won't make the same mistake again. HL=good; GF=Bad

The techs were knowledgeable and were able to clearly communicate what was happening and how to resolve the problem. Ultimately, we had to replace our system. Estimate were given quickly and were most reasonable. Scheduled installation ran into a few glitches that were not obvious at the start of the job. Installers worked hard and were knowledgeable not only about their product but also about how to overcome obstacles. The several areas where Work was done were left neat and clean. I would heartily recommend HL Bowman and use them again if needed.

Jared showed up on time and went right to work. Installing the back up water powered sump pump and new sump pump seemed quite involved to me, but Jared said it would be no problem to do it. I am completely satisfied with their service, and responsiveness. H. L. Bowman is now the only plumber I will use for all of my plumbing needs.

H.L. Bowman showed up on-time and completed the work to spec and at budget. Bowman has been my go-to HVAC company for years and I've never had anything but stellar service from them.

The appointment was made within 2 days of contacting them. The technician (Brian) was punctual for a 7:30 am appointment. Once there, Brian did a fantastic job of communicating the services that he was performing and kept me very informed about the status of the AC system. He found some issues that had been previously overlooked by former HVAC technicians and provided me with a very detailed understanding of what the outlook for my unit should be in the future. I noticed an immediate improvement in the cooling of the house as well as the air quality. I can't thank this company and this technician enough for being so professional in the way they conduct their business. I would recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC service.

Great! I called yesterday, and they said they would work me into the schedule today and would call me before coming. H.L. Bowman called today and said the plumber would be here in 20 minutes, and he was. He did a great job and installed the toilet in less than an hour, cleaned up and took our old toilet, the box and all packing materials from the new toilet along with him. He also installed a new designer arm on the toilet instead of the one that came on it. He was very nice and professional. Would definitely use him again.

I just purchased my first home. As with any home, there are always issues that crop up. After we had our washer and drier installed, we noticed that there was a backfill/flooding issue whenever a toilet, shower, or sink was used. I called H L Bowman after searching Angie's List for services in the area. The soonest a tech could come out would be next day (Wednesday, of this writing). I received a call the next day advising that a technician was on their way. Jeff arrived at my door and was absolutely professional, courteous and tireless in identifying the problem, and making sure it was resolved properly. As it turned out, during the reconstruction of this house, a kick cap from the installation of a toilet, fell down the sewer line and caused a blockage. Jeff used pretty much every tool in his truck to resolve and fix the blockage. Absolutely job well done. Aside from some remaining standing water from my shoddy attempts at repair at 2 in the morning, we have no NEW water - and every faucet, spigot and piece of plumbing works flawlessly. Absolutely will recommend, and continue to use their services in the future.

We called at 10 pm shortly after discovering the issue. Bowman called around 7 in the morning and had someone here at home at 11:00. They worked diligently worked to cleanup and replace the pump with a more powerful model. Very professional. Would highly recommend.

They arrived on time and were able to fix all issues efficiently (within an hour), even when they didn’t recognize the original piece in the toilet. They looked it up & called a supervisor to check they would do it correctly, then they replaced the piece.

They are always very responsive and pleasant when I call.

Jeff had them cleared quickly. He doesn’t waste time. I do object to a ‘travel charge’ of $40.

It went well, my only complaint is that when I called to get an explanation of the pricing, no one called me back. They required that the bill be paid before I could see the receipt. I had the impression that heir attitude is “take it or leave it”. Maybe they are in the position to take such a stance but $2200is a lot to spend without the courtesy of an explanation.

I was disappointed that they didn't put a heat trap in. He was kind of like oh you don't need that. He didn't put the heat trap in where they put the extra bend in the pipe to keep the heat in. He also talked me out of putting in an better energy efficient ones. You know kind of like the old school Oh it's not worth paying extra money for. But I don't like that they didn't put the heat trap in. It works right. They were able to service me in a short time. I would shop around more but I would probably use them again.

John is the technician who came for the service. He came on time and very quickly located the leaking spot and fixed it efficiently. He said he treats every job as the problem in his own home. I completely agree.

I’m sure someone else would have done it cheaper the next day for a better price, but they came out within an hour and fixed it. They came immediately.

So far so good. They will return to finish the trim when we are ready.

Bill was my service team member, he was genuinely the nicest and most professional person I have ever worked with. Professional, attention to detail and eagerness to complete the job as quickly as possible. From diagnosis to completion he was superior. When the time comes for planning additional plumbing needs there is no one else I am calling but his company. Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous. These guys did an excellent job in locating the clog. They were very courteous and cleaned everything up.

The service person was very friendly, informative, helpful, and honest. I appreciated this very much, and I would use them again when the need arises.
