Enviroquest - Home Inspections and Radon Service

Fantastic!!

The company has very good service, but we finally decided to use another one.

The technician that came was prompt and courteous, it took 3 times to get my Radon down below legal level, but I don't know that was their fault. Anyway the job is done now. I would have preferred the exhaust pipe going up through the house, but that would have been a lot more work and money.

This home is a house built in the '50's Initial radon level was >10 pCi/l. Mitigation was required for house sale. Enviroquest worked with us to schedule the job as quickly as possible. Work was finished in less that one day.

Work was completed in 5 hours. Installation looks neat and professional, It appears to have resolved the radon problem, although I have not had a retest done yet,

What can I say... This company surprised me, yes their website looked professional, the reviews on this site were all good, but I wasn't expecting the kind of service I received. It was AMAZING. Ray was polite, professional, knowledgeable... I loved learning all sort of things, he had an answer for everything. He showed up on time, and after introduction, business card and the layout of the plan for the inspection, armed with all his tools inspected that house's every single inch. The final report was detailed, easy to read and understand. I will refer this company to all people that ask me. A ++++ Thank you Enviroquest and thank you Angie!!!

The owner performed the inspection and was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The inspection was thorough and there was plenty of time to ask questions. Would definitely recommend. I used a $15 coupon from Angie's list and had no problems with them honoring that.

Envoriquest returned my call for an estimate promptly and provided an estimate within 12 hours of obtaining details of my home and radon level. The technician, Jeremy, arrived promptly. He examined the basement area with me to determine the best placement of the system and gave me option for placement of the fan and exhaust pipe outside. The technician was very neat, polite, professional, and obviously knew what he was doing. He reviewed the system operation with me and answered all of my questions. He left a radon test kit and pointed out some things I might do during my basement remodel that should make the system perform more efficiently. It will be several weeks before I test the radon level but I am very happy with the service, price and professionalism of this company. They did provide a written guarantee that their system will reduce the radon level to 3.9 pCi/l or less for 10 years.

First I called Eviroquest to find out how to go about getting the radon in the home checked. The woman that I talked to was very helpful and kind. She said that I could either have a man come out to my home for a radon inspection, or I could get the home test from the internet and sent to me. I opted for the home test. I received the test about a week later. I followed the instructions and then sent it back in the prepaid envolope. When I got the results, I called Eviroquest to tell them the results. They explained that I deffiniately needed the work done in the basement to prevent the radon from coming into the home. Very good conversation and very helpful. They said that they would call back with the estimate for the work. They called back within a few days with the estimate which was $930, which was about how much I thought it would be. I will be calling them back after the first of the new year to make the appointment to have the work done. I was very happy with the people that I talked to and the estimate.

Everything went well. Inspector was early, prepared with all equipment needed, professional, polite, and conscientious of the time without rushing. We felt our home inspection was complete and thorough and prepared us for what we may need to address right away versus later down the road. Overall great experience.

We needed to have a Radon system & a UV water filtration system installed for settlement on our home. We called for a quote & were given one within hours. They immediately scheduled us for installation & promptly gave us all receipts and letters for settlement.

Set up tester and retreived the next day. Worked with realtor and seller to schedule.

They had come out a couple of years ago and when we had them out at this time they did the work at the same quote. They came out put it in, they were prompt and clean and when they left they gave me a test to test my radon levels so when I tested it and the radon level came back at the wrong levels they came back out and installed more lines at no extra charge. I did another test and this time it came back below what it needed to be. I would say the job that they did was neat, clean and prompt all the way thought. They really did a good job.

Fine. It was a peace-of-mind check after some water entry issues. John understood that right away, and as I said above went above and beyond the call to explore every angle he could think of.

I would give Enviroquest a "B" overall. I had them come out to my house for quote. I plan to use their service.

They installed everything and it looked good, but they sealed off the existing sump pump. But the sump seal wouldn't allow the sump to work - that part was poorly done but everything else was well done. When we got flooding in September, the sump wouldn't come on - I had to take off the seal to drain the 3 inches of water that we had in the basement. They had no experience with high water. Even after the water went down, the radon pump made a direction connection to the sump and was pulling air through water. I told them I thought they put the radon pump too close to the sump. They offered no fix of the system, which did pass the 2-day radon test in April after the system was installed. So technically, they did what they said they would do, but they wouldn't do one thing more. After the water went down, the system ran well for two weeks or so, but then it developed a direct suction with the basement sump. Their work with the sump was poor, They didn't do that specific part well. They offered no help to fix it - I'm left on my own to fix it. I'd rather they would have said upfront - we can't do anything with your water situation, which was high even back in March. This is the first water we'd had in years. It may get better in time, but for now we have turned the system off.

They did a very good job. They had a good customer service and they everything that was required.

He was terrific. The home inspection was very detailed and thorough. He gave us detailed information of the work that needed to be done.

My experience with Enviroquest has been exemplary. A superb job, clean, well placed and was not unsightly. The attachment of the motor was done in such a way to reduce vibration and excess noise. Afterward the workman explained how the system operated, how to determine if system failed and what to correct if there was a problem. We waited for 20 days before testing the effectiveness of the mitigation. The radon level was reduced significantly. We understand there may be structural blockage under the slab that may require an addition evacuation point. We are very pleased with the work and recommend this company for anyone considering radon mitigation and to anyone who wants a professional job and at the best price. An A+ company!

The men from Enviroquest arrived right on time and completed the job in about 4 hours. First class professional work. The entire installation is very neat and clean. The basement piping has virtually no impact on useable basement space. I would not hesitate to recommed them to anyone considering radon mitigation.
