Full info / discloser concerning additional charges by service provider should be standard procedure. Work performed was instllation of a new kitchen faucet at my home.

Description of Work: The money we spent was for replacement outdoor faucet. We knew the job would be more extensive than the simple replacement. We were shocked however at the final cost for this project. It was much much higher than we would have predicted and we did not proceed. We would have liked it if he gave us some other options. But perhaps there were no other options. It was the quoted way or nothing. On the other hand the representative was prompt and very professional. It came down to price. Essentially we paid $75 for an estimate.

Description of Work: Their services were used for a big deal for $249 worth of plumbing or electrical work for $49. I used the plumbing services.

Description of Work: they came out to perform a heater tuneup for $49.00 and while here they foung my return ducting was disconnected so since they were here had them repair it, cost $118.00, very happy with the service and if they had not found the problem would have cost a lot of money over the winter for a overworked heater wasting gas trying to keep up the temps. very pleased with their work and their employee would use them again.

Description of Work: They offered $49 for one but the second HVAC evaluation would have cost $95. I had a new system. Basically, nothing was performed. He looked at everything said all looked good (in about 10 minutes) then started to try to sell me products and services, which I declined. I felt like I totally overpaid as nothing was done. Anything I asked him about he said, oh, that will cost.... This was a total waste of $49 and my time at home when I could have been at work...not a good Angie's List promo in my eyes

Description of Work: Evaluation a few of my electrical outlets and light fixtures. The technician fixed every thing they could and gave a good recommendation on one of the problems he was not able to fix at the time of the visit. I will definitely consider using them again. Did I mention the technician had the best handwriting I have seen in years!!!!!

Description of Work: This company and particularly the service person was wonderful. It was my first experience actually using Angie's list so it made a great impression. The service person took care not to track anything into my house which was greatly appreciated since my carpet was brand new. It gave me a good feeling to know my heat pump is in good condition since winter will be here soon.

Description of Work: I asked for a furnace clean & check. The tech found high levels of Carbon Monoxide coming from the furnace at the unit & on the first flr too. I asked him to shut down the system because I needed to contact my home warranty co. The tech was very professional and wrote up what he found and offered to have a salesman call for an appt to give me a quote for a new system should my warranty company allow them to do the job. I was contacted for an appt. but I was required to use who the warranty co.chose.

Description of Work: I had an extra outlet installed in my basement. I thought they were just coming out for an estimate, but they performed the work on the same day. Great service, great technician that came out. Was in an out quick and cleaned up after himself. He even offered to spackle the patchwork for me.

Description of Work: Took advanage of Angie's furnace checkup offer and am glad I did. Seems there was a faulty key component and without it working, the furnace would not function. I can just envision trying to "fire it up" on the first cold night just around the corner and have nothing happen. So I surely made the right decision in taking 'Agnie's' List up on their discounted inspection offering. I must further add to my comments above that this was my first dealing with this company but was immediately impressed when the technician, upon entering our house /home, stopped to put 'booties' on over his shoes to prevent tracking in any dirt, whatever. Very professional. That put my mind at ease right away. I am now getting a quote for electrical work from them. Thumbs up!

Description of Work: Bobby K was very knowledgeable and, after reviewing my problem made a couple recommendations regarding replacing other sections of piping that were suspect. He added a new shutoff lever as well as a new draining spigot to solve my outside faucet pipe of freezing and cracking in the winter. It took additional work such as cutting a hole in our kitchen wall to get at the outside piping because of its location in the wall. All of the work performed was professionally done including the cleaning up of the hole in the wall. Job well done!!!
