I had some electrical problems, including a circuit short. The technician came out and gave me an estimate for finding the short and said he could take $249 off of the estimate. He did do some minor work while he here. He couldn't give me an estimate for how long it would take to find the short. I wasn't thrilled. I would have preferred for him to have done $249 worth oflabor and get done what he could have on finding the short.

He was friendly and punctual. The estimate for the bathroom work was MORE THAN TWICE THE COST of the other three similarly priced estimates. The faucet broke over the cold 2013-2014 winter, and the warranty was only for a year.

They did what they said they were going to do. We did not have any issues with them and scheduling was good. There was one electrician here doing the work.

I didn't actually use the company they just gave me an estimate.

Tried to fix my doorbell unsuccessfully as they could not find the part.

provider was very nice. It was pouring but he did not care. He did an excellent job and I am very happy with the installation.

Our experience was so bad we let the coupon expire. We called for an estimate to install a ceiling light and fan in a bedroom. WITH the coupon, the estimate balance was over $1,000. I don't know if they were used gold plated wiring or what but this was absurd. We received three more estimates to make sure we weren't crazy and the next highest was $350. The range was $125 to $350 (without any discounts). I don't know if the estimator didn't want the job or we were too far out of the way...or they just have a minimum fee....but for a small project, stay away. As it turned out, we had a full 1st floor remodel and lots of lighting added to a new kitchen. And even with a $250 credit, we just ate the money we spent on the coupon. I can't imagine what it would have cost us for the rest of the work.

I ended up not using them because somebody else could do it more easily. However, their customer service was very good.

Lowry Services were excellent. My contact name was Steve. It was done completely and they were very professional, very helpful and answered all my questions. They answered promptly, there was no dallying about or anything. They are expensive. I really didn't do a comparison, I had used another plumbing company last year and I was very, very dissatisfied with their customer service. I tried Lowry and I really didn't do some comparison shopping.

They were fine and came when they were supposed to. However, they were obviously trying to upsell me on a new heater.

Despite frigid temperatures, work and service was excellent.

Prices very high. More than double other quotes. The service man was suppose to be here between 8:00am- 8:30am but did not arrive until 9:30am. The roads were snowy so I understand him being late but he could have called. He did not even mention being late when he arrived. Except for that he was professional.

I had an emergency situation that needed to be addressed. Lowry was able to respond quickly. Technician has a price book for services. You have to "join" to be a member to get discount. Work was performed as it was an emergency otherwise I would not have had them do the repair for almost 2000 dollars.

Service provided well. I purchased what I thought was a certificate to replace a ceiling fan. I was told the certificate was only to come out and diagnose problem then extra fee was charged. Work was done beautifully. The other deals I have bought have been the price of the service.

I was completely satisfied with the technician that came. His work was good. The only minor glitch was a late arrival, but this was completely understandable because of widespread weather-related traffic issues. The technician called while he was underway, and the small delay was not a problem. I had purchased an Angie's List coupon for the work. I understood that this entitled me to a certain amount of service at a discounted price. The technician looked at the work and wrote up an invoice, taking a deduction based on the special coupon. The remaining balance was much high than expected. The coupon cost $50, and the work cost an additional $180, all of which was labor, since I supplied all parts. My total cost for one easy fixture installation was therefore $230. This supposedly had a $200 discount built in. Therefore the normal price would have been about $430! That is exorbitant! The actual work took maybe slightly more than an hour, and there was also a whole-house review that I did not need or request, but which potentially had some value. I expected that the light fixture would have been installed and then I could have had a broken dimmer switch replaced on the same coupon. No, that would have been an additional $70 for labor only, I was told (I had already purchased the dimmer). I opted not to have that done - I can do that simple repair myself, or pay a handyman $40 or less to do it. This company charges "full retail" prices, and that's not competitive or affordable for a homeowner.

Scheduling was prompt. I had them come in to give me an estimate for doing some electrical work. Their pricing were a bit high so I did not move forward with the service.

They were good. They were courteous, nice, and reasonable.

This was an Angie's List "deal". Lowrys gave services according to the terms of the deal; the technician was polite, courteous, and efficient, and left no mess to clean up. He completed the work in a very reasonable time. I was very happy with the service and since it was a deal, the price was very reasonable. I would use Lowry's again.

Ended up paying double after they arrived because they insisted that a whole house plumbing inspection was a necessary part of the package. I would not use them again and I dropped my Angie's membership because of the ruse. That's not the kind of help I expected from Angie's List.

It was fine. The man was really nice and helpful. He did what he came to do and did it in a timely fashion. They got the job done in a couple of hours. They scheduling was perfect. The technician was helpful with other questions.
