David Schwab Sales guy gaves me estimates 2 weeks later I called back to say I've choose Lowey Sevices for the project. We then schedule the date for October 23 to 24. I was amazed of start to finish removing old Oil Boiler,water tank heater and two 275 oil tanks in only 2 days and Installing a New high efficiency Gas Boiler and Hot waterSystem WOW very professional workmanship. There was a little issue little Oil spill in basement area while removing the tanks and guys needing to walk through Tenant apt dirty the carpet. The next day Lowery services send a crew back to clean the Basement area and told me to hired a carpet cleaner for the Tenant carpet Lowey Sevices will take the Bill/Refund me for the Carpet sevices. Carpet Cleaner was sch for Oct 29 but had to resch due to Hurricane Sandyl for this Sat Nov 3rd. Overall very very pleased with Lowey Sevices. I most definitey will recommend to Family, Friends and you all who are looking for Excellent Service.

Technician showed up on time, and quickly diagnosed the problem with my front exterior light not working due to a short circuit caused by improper underground wiring having been used in the original installation years ago. The problem was fixed by disconnecting the faulty wiring, thus isolating the circuit and preventing the short. After this was done, the new timers I had purchased through Amazon were installed for both the front and back exterior security lights. Another driveway security light fixture was replaced with a motion sensor fixture that I had purchased at Lowes.

After purchasing the special priced coupon from Angie's List for electricial services online, the phone rang to schedule the appointment. The appointment was made for me the next morning. The electrician, Mike, was prompt, looked to see what was involved and gave us a quote. He was very knowledgeable and completed the job quickly and to our satisfaction during that same visit. The outlet works great and we no longer need extension cords going from our garage outlet to the patio and deck area. Thank you!!

Service person was on time and very professional. Services were fairly expensive, but I suppose plumbing work is usually expensive. I might not be remembering 100% of the work done. He did fix a running toilet for free because it was just due to a plastic piece that had gotten into the flushing mechanism and only had to be removed.

The guy came through, showed us our plumbing, pointed out that we have a sump pump, & tested our water. It went really well! He was professional & on time.

I got an expensive quote for work I wanted to have done and decided not to go with them. And I wasn't happy that the guy stuck Lowry stickers on everything in my basement like my electrical box and hot water heater.

I called to schedule an appointment for an electrician to come out. The young woman who answered the phone was very friendly and professional. I was able to get an appointment in the same week. The gentleman arrived on time. I was running late from an appointment but, my son was home. I talked to the service man on the phone, prior to actually arriving home. I really liked the fact that he gave me an estimate before he started doing any work. I had a pole lantern in the back of my home that wasn't working and no one could figure out why. He was able to troubleshoot the problem and resolve the situation quickly. I went for 5 years without being able to use this pole lantern. I wish I called them sooner. I would definitely call this company for service again and I would specifically request Mike. He was friendly, courteous, professional and most of all knowledgeable. Thanks to him we can use that pole lantern again. Every time we turn it on, we will think of him. I would highly recommend the company and him to anyone.

The young man fixed it the first day and then it began to leak again, so we had to call him back. He did a better job the second time.

I signed up for the $49.00 heater tuneup. I could not be happier. The company was prompt on followup. The technician was right on time. I would use Lowry again.

My husband just finished meeting with an electrician from Lowry and for starters felt the electrician was not very knowledgeable, particularly about LED lighting which we stated we were interested in getting a quote for when the appointment was made. He in fact asked what my husband knew about it since he was not familiar with LED. So I ask, how can one price a job when they are unfamiliar with the product that needs to be purchased for the job??? Secondly but more shocking was the other simpler job that got turned into a complex project. We were requesting to have two ceiling light fixtures removed and to have two new ones put in their place. You can imagine how floored we both are that this company wantting to charge us almost 10 times what we were previously quoted. An excuse for the job being so costly was a high ceiling - well that's what ladders and the previous company was aware of that also when then quoted us $75 for what they said would just be an hour of labor. This company amazing just quoted us $700 to do this job which we already had a quote for $75!!! Shame on us for thinking we could actually save a couple of dollars by using the Angie Coupon we purchased for $49 (worth $249 of electrical service). NOW we know why a company can afford to make such an offer. $49 for $249 worth of service and then they will charge you $700 to exchange out 2 ceiling fixtures. And yes, this company was well aware that we would be using the Angie Coupon (makes one wonder how that affected prices). We intend to request that Angie's List refund us for the cost of this Angie Coupon since it is obviously useless to us since we would never use a company that is out to rape the public. Side Note: My husband is 74 years old and I feel that maybe this was a case of 'Scam a Senior Citizen' - cause I still can't believe that anyone would try to charge $700 to remove and replace 2 light fixtures!

He came out and found that the problem I thought I had was not actually a problem. The technician that came was very nice.

Great experience. The electrician told me when he'd arrive, then called me that morning to say he was on his way. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and did the job quickly and neatly. He even gave me some advice on work that I was doing myself.

The serviceman arrived on time on a Saturday, was very professional and proceeded to prepare a work estimate before commencing work. The Lowry estimate was $1,000 less $200 for the coupon, net $800. The estimate read for 4 hours of work. I asked that he reconsider his estimate which he then brought down to $800 less $200 = $600. It was my opinion that the estimate was still much too high and I did not engage his service. I called Angie's list and requested a refund on my coupon purchase since I do not intend to engage Lowry Services Electric Plumbing Heating & Cooling for any future work.

Everything about the transaction went well. The plumber was careful of our old house, explained what he planned to do and was meticulous in his work with the old plumbing.

It went well. All the workers smoked but always outside. There was two small boxings around the return filters they refuse to do and it did complicate my life. I would have like to install a system that allows to close and open each duct that was user-friendly. They did not and when I discovered it, it was too late. I will call the salesman (who is extremely competent and on the ball, by the way) to request someone to come and install that user-friendly damper. I have no idea what they will say. That said, I would still use that company.

It was a bait and switch. They came in to look at the heater. He told me that is was in really bad condition. At first I was very grateful for this information. But found out it was basically a scare tactic because another plumber came in and informed me that my heater is old but it great working condition. So I am changing my review now that I this new information.

They came out for my mother first and their estimate was over twice what I ended up paying to another contractor. I still had a coupon to use, so I also had them come out to my house. They come out to fix one problem, but then explain multiple other problems that need to taken care of as well, at a very high price. They also use a binder to give you all of the pricing. I explained to him that I would not have them take care of any additional work, he agreed to do the work but told me to not expect any guarantee on the job he was doing.

I did pay an additional $88 for their work. I did inform them about the deal and I felt like I gave them the option of what I wanted to have done. I would have preferred him to say, "for $249 I could do one or the other." I felt like he should have been more upfront because I was trying to work within the amount given.
