Had received email offer from Angie's List for $49.00 Heater Tune-up and Inspection. Had just purchased coupon. (Price of coupon is included in amount spent above.) When heater went on the morning we obtained service, carbon monoxide alarm went off. Called number on coupon which was Lowry's Services. Company not located near us and didn't think they would come because of distance. They had a technician at house in a little over an hour. Quick inspection of gas heater indicated no problem but chimney inspection showed entire chimney clogged and liner split. Technician gave us quote. Told us to call for other quotes and would come back if we wished to hire them. We did not think quote was out of line and were concerned about our health, so we hired him on the spot. Have no regrets. He had to return to shop for more supplies and to pick up a helper. Was back within two hours. Spent the rest of the day removing old chimney liner and replacing. New liner has lifetime guarantee which will transfer to new owner if we sell house. Cleaned and serviced the heater as well to honor the coupon. Very, very nice man (Chuck.) Cleaned up all work areas beautifully. Wore booties over shoes (had to access part of old liner from attic.) We had been experiencing heavy moisture and condensation in house. All of these problems were related to the clogged chimney. Not a drop of moisture since they were here. Feel the CO Detector and the fast, efficient service of Lowrey's saved our lives and extensive damage to our home.

I called and asked the company to fix one of our kitchen lights. He diagnosed it as a heat sensor problem and promptly fixed it with something he had in the truck. I wasn't charged for the work since my AL covered it. We are old customers and the company has never let us down.

WOW! Purchased an Angie's List special service for outdoor hose bib replacement. Lowry called me within 1/2 hour of purchase to schedule an appointment! I didn't have to call them, that is amazing customer service! They could have had a plummer come out the next day - which didn't work for me, so the appointment was made for my convenience, less than a week from my initial purchase. I was called the morning of the service to let me know the plumber. Mike Decicco, was on his way - he was on time, friendly, and considerate to put on booties for my floors, without me asking! We had a slight leak at the outside shut off valve, which was fixed, and Mike explained how it is easily fixed, and how I should tighten it if it happens again. He also replaced the outside bib to a normal bib, from the makeshift bib the previous owners had on. Mike explained everything he did, was super friendly, and VERY helpful!!! We will definitely use Lowry again for other work we need done around the house, and will specifically ask for Mike Decicco both him, and the company were really a pleasure to do business with!!

The only positive I can say about the company is they did promptly respond to my inquiry about the additional cost but then again they thought they had a fish on the line.

My faucet was leaking. I bought the deal for a $49.00 faucet replacement. When they came out they gave me an estimate for $764.00. Then they said if I wanted to, they could take off $100.00 for it. The gentleman was very respectful and professional. He was doing what he had to do but the price was totally out of my ballpark. I decided to get a refund on the deal.

Went well, overall. Courteous workman, punctual. Scheduling was more restrictive than what was in the original advertisement and there was some resistance to accommodating my schedule initially (honoring what was in the advertisement), but they eventually conceded.

Lowry and the men who came to our home did a fabulous job for us in all areas that were needed. They came when they said they would and worked ALL DAY and into the evening. The company even supplied us with multiple space heaters to alleviate a lot of the cold during those few days. Then they arrived to finalize the jpb shortly thereafter. The salesman was just great...(Dave Schwab) .no pressure and so professional! Nothing was left regarding questions and when DID come up with another question, it was answered in a comprehensive manner. We will NEVER look for another company to do the type of work that Lowry does. The ULTIMATE professionals...that's how we feel about them and the services they provided - especially when they were loaded with work because of the severely cold weather that weekend. I purchased a Angies list deal for Lowrys. I paid 49.00 for replacement of an outdoor faucet. A representatve from Lowrys promptly called me to schedule the appointment. I scheduled for Wedesday between 12 and 4pm. She said the tech would call me 15 minutes in advance to let me know he's on his way. I waited around all afternoon and finally at 10 minutes till 4pm a man from Lowrys called to tell me his tech was tied up and wouldn't be able to perform the service today, But "would I be around tomorrow"?????? Really??? Because I want to do this again......NO Thanks. I requested a refund. It's really a shame that this company thinks it's okay not to keep their commitments. The gentleman who called me actually seemed surprised that I was annoyed. Sometimes a "deal" is not really a deal.

It was the first time I had used them. I wanted them to open up the stack and main drain to assess a problem I was having with water draining. Bobby K was the one that came to do the work. He said if he opened up the stack or main drain it would be thousands of dollars more and that they would have to tear up my lawn to get to the drain pipe. I ended up having another company do the work I wanted for a lot cheaper than what they quoted and they didn't have to dig up my lawn at all.

The installer was prompt, careful, helpful, and clean. We were satisfied with the service in all regards.

I ended up only having a tripped GFCI outlet. My circuit breaker was fine and my air compressor "blew" then I thought I had an electrical problem...anyway, Jesus came and was very friendly and informative. He didn't make me feel like an idiot and explained what had happened despite the fact that I knew what a GFCI outlet was and did. After the pressing the button on the outlet in the garage (which fixed everything), he did some things for me that I couldn't do myself. He put in 3 light bulbs in the garage which has about a 12 foot ceiling. In addition to the work I needed performed, Jesus did an "Electrical Safety Inspection" which took some time but will come in handy when I go to sell my home in the coming months. The experience was an easy and comfortable one. Jesus was very kind, respectful and helpful, all of which made the Lowry visit an excellent one. Thanks! I will not hesitate to refer and to call again when necessary.

The service person, Mike, deserves an award for first-rate professionalism. He arrived on time, examined the problem, diagnosed it, sent for a part, came back and installed it. He explained everything carefully so that it was clear to me what was happening and what was needed to solve the problem. There was no problem honoring the Angie's coupon which helped considerably with the much larger bill for service.

The work was done quickly and correctly with no surprises or extras.

Everything went great from start to finish. Very pleased.

Visited d/t prepaid Angie's list deal purchased by myself. Inspected and cleaned central air system and replaced a worn part.

Went very well. Our options were explained clearly. The crew showed up on time. The replacement took only 5 hours.The crew was very courteous. My wife felt safe while the crew worked in the house.

I wanted the outlet placed in an unusual way (higher up the wall). The service man was willing to work with me, despite the fact that my request was odd.

A few minutes after I ordered the coupon on Angie's List, I received a phone call to set up an appointment. The technician arrived on time and completed a thorough inspection. He told me the AC unit was in great shape and did not need any additional maintenance. I was very pleased with his honesty.
