Awesome! Fast and courteous service. I love the fixed price model.

It didn't go well. They were outrageously expensive. They wanted about $700 for the job, which was ridiculous. I asked them to call in to their office to check about the price. The said it was indeed $700, but offered to take $25 off for me. Not recommended. I eventually got a competitor to do it for $79 in about 15 minutes.

It went very well. They came out and checked all of the electrical stuff including the electrical box and outside lines. It was a good deal.

Our bedroom outlets were not working. I called Lowry and they came out the same day. They found a broken outlet and some issues in our fuse box. Very nice guys.

Excellent quality time and service

I am usually able to repair most things myself, but had an electrical problem that I couldn't figure out. A room of outlets and switches were inoperative. Before I had Angie's List, I did an old school search for electricians and came across Lowry. In their ads and literature they say they are "voted best 15 years in a row!" Cool, I decided to give them a try. If I would have had Angie's List I would have found out ahead of time what I learned the hard way. The bad reviews about this company are in line with what I experienced. The electrician was a good enough guy, as far as personality. He pulled out the company binder and gave me a super high quote for the troubleshooting. Then he told me they would bring the price down if it turned out to be less work. Also they charge you for the estimate, but if you get the work done, they "deduct" it from the final price. Haha. Good one. I think the original quote was $586 which was ridiculous, but I trusted that he was a decent guy and would give me a fair price when it was done. After all he spent a lot of time talking about personal things too. He may have spent 1.5 hours looking at several outlets and switches, and I think he found one of the pigtails at an outlet worked after he tightened it. During the job he blew out one of my dimmer switches and did not replace it. When he did the final price, he reluctantly lowered the total to $445, which included a $50 deduction for the dimmer switch..and which I will have to replace myself. I felt completely ripped off and told him that. He said, "I have to go by what's in the binder, and I lowered it a lot for you." He left me with a slick folder that contained the receipt, refridgerator magnet, and lots of literature about referring them to others. How ironic I thought. They also provided a feedback card that I sent back and told them I would never recommend them to anyone and their price was ridiculous for what was done. I never heard anything from them to inquire about my dissatisfaction. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

I called Lowry Services based on a recommendation from a friend. An electrician came out the next day (if I remember correctly). He wrote out a quote for the work listed above, plus several other electrical services I will need in the future. The quoted prices were obtained from a book. Since there were no complications to the work, he was finished in less than 2 hours. I think it is unlikely that the parts cost more than $100. I will not do business again with a company which uses this method for computing the charge. Supposedly the $514 was after deducting a senior discount.

The electrician arrived on time and proceeded to evaluate the need, quoted price and performed work in a professional manner. The fan was "going" with bearing noise every time it kicked on and was a concern. Electrician pulled the old and put in new in approximately and hour to an hour and a half, showed the result to me and that was it. I give the electrician A's in all categories - EXCEPT pricing. He was working from what appeared to be a company provided schedule of prices and they were on the very high end of the pricing distribution reported for the Lehigh Valley. I provided him with a printout of a web report showing that his price was approximately 2 times mean price reported and on the far tail of total prices. That is my only complaint and frankly, if I were to repeat the task, I would not hire them based in the pricing alone nor will I hire again due to pricing. The pricing issue aside, they are excellent on the job.

Work done properly. Timing good. Only problem- the cost was excessive.my fault. I didn't price check anyone else before starting.

Installation of ceiling fan. We had already removed the prior fan and all of the wiring was in place. Also replacement of a light switch. Electrician was able to get to the house early. He was friendly and professional, went right to work. I was surprised by the price quote, as another family member used this company and their cost for ceiling fan installation was much lower. Yes we were pleased with the work, but felt it was very pricey.

They were punctual and very professional. They cleaned up well after completing the work. Everything was fine.

They provided a good service and were responsive. I had some issues that they could not solve. They couldn't restore light to my driveway I do not blame them though because I had just moved into my home and wasn't familiar with the electrical system and the previous owner didn’t leave proper information.

They contacted me after purchasing the Big Deal. They have been fine. I hope to use the Big Deal in the next month or two.

Not very well...failed inspection because they forgot to put conduit wiring from hot tub to main junction box...total ripoff..I would never use or recommend them again...

The A/C is working very well. We use the A/C hard and have had 2 other A/C in our 20 year old house. we have used other contractors before starting to use Lowry 4 years ago when the old company Air Experts went out of business. Lowry has been the best.We have used Lowry for electric needs for many years, even 20. We have 2 zone cooling; the problem has off course been the second floor. My husband wrote the review.

We purchased a deal from Angies list, we had an issue with a recessed light that kept going out so we though it was a wiring issue. The Lowry electrician showed up on time and looked at the light and made a bunch of adjustment and charged us more money than $250 deal was for and then left. The light went out again a week later. We called to follow up with Lowry but no one ever got back to us so we called another electrician. The issue was the bulb was simly the wrong wattage so we paid lowry $100 for nothing.

They were very prompt. They do a good job but they seemed to be pretty pricey compared to other companies.

When they were done they didn’t do a good job of grading. When I spoke with the office manager they said they were going to take responsibility for the matter. They, in early spring when I called them as I hadn’t heard from them, they had no records that they were going to take responsibility for the matter. The office manager had left. I learned later I could have had the work done for half the cost by a different provider.

A pipe burst in our basement which was the sewer exit line. I had them come out and he said our plumbing was so old there was nothing to tie into for a patch. One thing led to the next and lo and behold they were digging up our front yard. They provided a payment plan to us that I found out was a mistake, but that was the only way we could have the work. done. I should have read the fine print a little better - they do not put anything back in the yard after digging - we still have to re-landscape. They also removed a water softener and utility sink - we have to replace the water softener, but the sink was not that bad and they said it was too bad to re-attach. Sadly, I am finding out now that I am trying to put them back that I will need to hire them back to run lines to re-attach them. Since their company handles more than just plumbing they are hard salespeople for other things that they see that they "feel" are going wrong with the house - and guess what - there is someone at their company to do the work for us!

They gave an estimate for electrical outlet installation and the cost was outrageous so I did not end up using their service. The scheduling was good but the prices were out of line.

I have not used it yet, but they were professional when they called me after the purchase.

I purchased the AC Tune-Up special thru Angie's list. There was absolutely no tune up performed. This is just an AC inspection and an offer to sell a new AC system.

I wanted him to do some work on a shower that had been installed by another company, but I was disappointed to hear that they wouldn't do maintenance on another company's work. So basically I spent money for nothing.

It didn't turn out too good. Basically, their prices were very high. They were more expensive than other people that I'd had come out. We really didn't use the certificate. It was kind of disappointing. After switching over the light switch, he said that's all he could do for me. I wanted him to do more work. They were very quick to respond when I called, which was good. They were able to get someone out quite quickly.
