not a lengthy story.....just not overly satisfied....the experience was not enough to encourage me to seek future "deals".

My first appointment was cancelled by the company after I waited for 3 hours. I recheduled and this time the plummer was prompt and professional. However, I decided not to use the services because the quote was extremely high. And they offered a standard price and a Lowry membership price. But that membership only covered plum9ming only. I had to purchase another membership to get a discount on any electrical work. I later discovered their price was three times higher than local plummers with equal creditials. And the part could have been replaced free of charge through the company that made that product. The product had a lifetime warranty. Over $900 (before Angie's Big Deal and Lowry's membership) to change a kitchen sink is too expensive.

Overall, very professional and trustworthy. Quickly assessed the issue and while i confessed to no electrical knowledge, instead of taking advantage, simply educated me to the situation and simple solution. Within 20 minutes he had solved the problem as not a wiring issue, but a faulty lantern. Even gave me affordable suggestions where to o or replacement lanterns.

Our overall experience with LOWRY SERVICE was great and we would recommend this company to anyone. The company took the call and did the work needed all on the same day.

They were super-fast. They came out the night that we called them and had the stuff in the next day. Their pricing was comparable; we had another quote. It was the same price, but he couldn’t do the work in another two weeks. I would tell others that they are good to call in an emergency when they need someone quickly.

I had purchased a BIG DEAL through Angie's list some months ago for Lowry Plumbing. I recently got my water bill and it was 3 times as much as usual. I called the water company, and they said leaking toilets were the worst offenders for high bills. Sure enough I found that the water was leaking into the bowl from the tank. I normally would have tried to replace the flapper myself, but I recently broke my elbow so I decided to use the BIG DEAL to get it done. I figured I might as well have the rubber water hoses to the washing machine replaced at the same time with better metal mesh ones as I had been told that the rubber ones often rupture when they get older. I called on Friday and a pleasant woman scheduled the visit for the following Monday in a window between 10 and 2, and said someone would call 30 minutes or so before they came. Someone named Dante called as promised and showed up in the earlier part of the window. Dante was very pleasant and willing to answer questions. He looked at the job and gave me an a price to do both jobs. He deducted the equivalent amount of the BIG DEAL ($250) so I would be paying $50 plus the original $49 BIG DEAL. He said the BIG DEAL also included a Lowry Plumbing membership for a year which entitled us to discounts off the standard prices of any future jobs and priority scheduling. Dante was very quick and efficient at completing both jobs. I have not had a lot of plumbing work done so I don't know what realistic prices are. It would have been $88 to replace the flapper and $212 to replace the washing machine hoses if I had not had the BIG DEAL. I guess since I normally can replace a flapper myself (this one looked harder than usual because there were some pieces that looked like they could break off) $88 seemed a little high since I was having other work done. If the flapper was the only work being done, I would expect that since there are costs involved in just a service call, but I really don't know. All in all it was a very good experience. I couldn't have asked for faster service for a non emergency and the jobs were completed quickly and professionally.

Great experience overall. I had purchased a BIG DEAL through Angie's List many months ago. I called on friday to ask about replacing the broken fluorescent fixture, anda pleasant woman scheduled it for the following Monday with a service window between 10am and 2p.m. On Monday morning I got a call around 8am that they could have someone named Mike E. here at around 9:30am if that was ok. Mike called a little later and said he would not arrive until 9:40, and he showed up when promised. Mike E. was terrific. He was personable, used shoe covers, and cleaned up after he was finished. He was willing to answer questions and said he didn't mind if I watched what he was doing. Because I had never purchased a BIG DEAL before, I wondered if Lowry would increase the price of the job so that there really would be no savings. I was REALLY pleasantly surprised that Mike totalled up the normal price of the work to be done and then deducted the equivalent price of the BIG DEAL ($250) which left me owing $0 for the visit. Mike also said that a 1-yr membership was included with the BIG DEAL (which I didn't know) which entitled us to discounted prices for any future work during the year and a safety inspection. He did the safety inspection and tightened screws in the electrical box and found a GFI plug that wasn't working. He also looked at some other potential projects we might want done and gave me a general ideal of the costs involved. He even plugged in a new telephone for me because I couldn't reach the outlet under a buffet. I gave an "A" for price, but I really don't know what normal prices are for electrical work. I liked that they were willing to quote a price up front and you could choose to have the job done or not. I especially appreciated the integrity of the BIG DEAL pricing and was suprised to have the safety inspection included.

I asked for them to call me in advance and they did. They owner called and stated that a Tom would be over within 45 min and he was. He also asked me what he would need to do during this visit which allowed him to have everything together so he wouldn't have to make multiple trips. He came in a very cleaned well marked truck and a clean uniform with a name badge so there was no question that this was who would be doing the service. He asked me what needed to be done and what kind of set up I would like. He was very polite as well. He did everything that I requested him to do. He is also very knowledgeable and cleaned up any mess made. I also asked him to give me a quote on a future project and he gave me a price range. This was the best experience I have ever had with an electrician. I will use this provider again.

The electrician arrived on time, introduced himself and put on protective shoe covers. I had purchased a coupon from Angie's List for the electrical work to be done. He showed me the company's price list so I would understand the pricing, and I got an overhead light and an outlet replaced. He was professional and polite, finished the job quickly and cleaned up. I was very pleased with the entire experience.

First and foremost, the electrician, Mike E. was very punctual (even a couple of minutes early) which immediately sends out a good impression of the the company and the technician. Our experience did not start out in a very positive manner due to some misunderstandings of what the coupon covered. After a bit of discussion we were able to get going. From that point on everything was exceptional. Mike was not only professional in his knowledge and actions, he was also a very pleasant person which enhanced the experience and the relationship between us. He was always willing to explain what he was doing, or had done as well as efficient in his work. He also demonstrated pride in his workmanship and was an excellent representative of his company. It is due to this man that I will always choose Lowry for my electrical work and ask for Mike E. by name as my electrician. One last note: Lowry does plumbing and I will schedule a time for them to come out and give my house a complete home plumbing inspection as we get closer to putting our home on the market.

This was a "Big Deal" coupon. They called me as soon as they received notice that I had purchased it. I told them I wasn't quite ready to use it. I called when I was ready and the appointment was scheduled for the following week. Ron called the night before to confirm the time and arrived right on time. He was efficient, thorough and had my faulty faucet replaced in a very reasonable amount of time. I am very pleased with the service.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal special for this service. I have no complaints; they did an excellent job. They were very prompt and were here when they said they would be; they did the work very well and I am happy.

I wanted to use this deal to have a bathrom exhaust fan replaced. The tech that came out wa no time and very polite. When he looked at the job, he informed me that it cost an additional $410 to do the work in addition to the coupon.He tried to call his office to get the price lowered but to no avail. I did not have the work done and reached out to Angie's List for help. Nowhere in the deal does it say there would be extra costs since the work I wanted done was specifically listed in the deal itself.

Very well. After a call at around 8:30 from Lowry that a technician could be at my home by 9:30, the technician showed up by 9:30 (when I had previously been given a 10am - 1pm window). He was done by 10:45. I was happy for the early arrival and service. He also gave me a couple estimates of things I may have done.

It went smoothly. Keith replaced the seven outlets in about an hour. He worked efficiently but did not rush. He was friendly and professional. He was fine with me providing the receptacles (I wanted to use the tamper resistant ones, since I have a two year old).

The technician came in, viewed the site, ask some questions about placement and then gave me a quote. The quote was $723.50 (in addition to the $249 in services I paid $50 for as a deal on Angie's List). I said that was too high and they took off $250 bringing my price down to $473.50 plus the $50 I already paid. Very high, but I did it. The technician was very good and cleaned up after himself, was courteous and checked out my electric in the entire house.

Overall, I feel like a short easy deal turned out to be rather complicated and it took too much energy.

The faucet that was already there was damaged. Brian was very punctual and he explained the options. He was able to repair the faucet and install a new handle which was what I really wanted. He also performed a house plumbing inspection at no additional cost. I was very happy with the result.

This company pulled the bait and switch act when they arrived. The technician was very nice and friendly, but once we spoke about the coupon I purchased he said the services on the coupon were not correct even though I showed it to him in black and white, and I even pulled the coupon up on my phone. He called his manager, and then the owner who both denied the services on the coupon was what they were offering. The owner was very rude and upset that I would not agree to what he was saying the coupon meant. He told me that the coupon was wrong and that I had to take it up with Angie's List. I would not allow the technician to perform any work and I told him that I would never recommend his company. He called me a one percenter (1%er) and said he did not care what type of review I wrote about his company. I am a real estate professional and a retired U.S. Marine and I believe highly in ethics!!! After my conversation and experience with the owner of this company I am highly disappointed I purchased this coupon. This was truly a bait and switch con, and I will never recommend this company for any services. Furthermore there is a very good reason this company has a "B" rating on Angie's List. Very Unhappy Customer.

Great. The technician (Mike) arrived a few minutes early. We discussed the job and he then replaced the old faucet, which involved more effort and a different faucet than usual due to the original configuration at our house. He was out within about an hour. His work was thorough and he took the time to explain it clearly before he started, and summarized it when done. The inside area where he accessed the isolation valve was left as he found it (clean and celing tile in place).

Lowry Services Electric Plumbing Heating & Cooling was excellent. We thought it was a good price. They got here when they said they'll get here. The guy was very professional and cared a lot to truck mud into the house. He did an excellent job with the heater and he took the old one for us without any charge. They showed me how to use it. They did what they said they will do.

He was fine. They were pretty easy to work with, they schedule things pretty quickly and followed up at the right time,so things went pretty smoothly with them.

They arrived on time, knew there stuff, not outside contractors. Answered all of our questions and consulted us regarding any changes made from original contract. Not sure what else to say as I am not to framilair in the process of this. They offered a great transferable warranty and we also got a nice rebate.

Nick was right on time and was very professional. Installation went smoothly. Will definitely use them again.

I have a finished basement and wanted the piece of mind of not having to worry about flooding every time a storm hits. I called on a Friday night and Brian was on time at my home the next day (Saturday after a snow storm). Brian was very professional from start to finish, even wore boot covers the entire time. All top of the line products were used (Zoeller M53 1/3hp primary sumppump & Liberty water powered sump jet for back up). Also included reconfiguring drain line (PVC piping and fittings used) and tying into water supply line (Pex piping with shark bite fittings used). Brian also used various check valves and shut off valves to ensure the integrity of the system. Brian was at my home for approx 4-6 hours (wasn't keeping track. lol) and at the completion he even ran both pumps for me to ensure proper operation. Later that night I noticed (2) of the shark bite fittings on the water supply weeping out very small amounts of water. I called back that Sunday morning to explain the leaks and Brian was back at my home within 1-2 hours of me calling. Brian was a straight up guy from start to finish.
