the contractor came out on time, however, he wanted to charge me over $ 1000 to install a ceiling fan, and eventually dropped it to $300.00 Was not happy about this

The technician was very professional and friendly, his work was good. However, the prices of this company are ridiculous, comes out to nearly $300 an hour. I don't know how anyone can afford them, next time I will use a local electrician, it would have been much, much cheaper for me to pay by the hour and I was unprepared to have to add to what I had already paid thru Angie's list for less than 45 minutes of work. Angie's List coupon was for $249 plus I had to pay an additional $86. The only reason I give a C overall is because of the price.

It went fine. It was a simple procedure.

They came out to my home and did an inspection of the entire home and were reluctant to perform the work that I wanted to be done. A little pushy on getting a complete electrical of my home. They performed the work intended and said they can't guarantee the work.

When the plumber arrived and let me know that I could not use the $55 deal for the type of bib I needed, I was annoyed. He did look at the existing bib and was able to put in a temporary solution, without charging me, which made me feel a lot better about the visit. I then asked him about a slow drain in the master bathroom, so he quoted that job and applied the $55 to it. He did a great job cleaning out a stopped drain and sold me a product to help keep the drains clean on my own. All combined, I spent about $300 on the Big Deal and additional services. It seemed a bit expensive, given the amount of time it took, but it was a huge relief to have the drain working properly. The cleaning is now effortless, so I am really appreciative of the plumber's recommendations. I would use Lowry again, but would definitely still get a competitive bid to see if I can get the same quality at a lower price.

I purchased this deal along with a plumbing deal from Lowry, so the scheduler told me that they would arrive together. It did not matter to me, but that was the commitment. The plumber arrived, completed his work and left well before the electrician arrived. I did not get a very good response from the customer service team about what was happening with the electrician, they were vague and kept promising he was on his way. However, the plumber happened to know that the original electrician called out sick, so I was getting a different electrician. This was fine and acceptable to me, but the customer service team never explained this to me. I am rating the customer service team as a "D" with my rating on the punctuality, since they did not communicate properly. The electrician did everything he could since the other guy was sick. When the electrician finally arrived, he communicated what the $249 deal would cover, and I could only get 2 of the 4 remotes installed for that deal, I would need to pay another $250 to get the other 2 installed. I was annoyed at the pricing, so chose not to have all 4 installed and only had 2 installed. Even after my annoyance with the price, the electrician was very positive and handled the job efficiently and quickly. He even alerted me that my lights were not working on one of the fans because of a problem within the Canopy. He gave me instructions on what to do to get them repaired / replaced, and I was very satisfied with everything he did. I would use Lowry again, given the quality of the work, even though the pricing is a bit high for what I would like to pay.

This drain required the plumber to go up on the roof and open the air vent. I told the office that roof climbing would be required because I had had another plumber repair this same blocked drain several years before. In fact, I canceled one appointment because it was raining. The plumber arrived early. Had I been able to accommodate him at that time he would have been able to avoid going up on a wet roof. However it started to sprinkle while he was on the roof. I felt that Lowry's office should have coordinated the job with the weather and should have informed the plumber that he would probably have to go up on the roof. That is my only complaint because the drain was cleaned and the underlying problem with the pipes was discussed. I know how to handle this particular drain. I did appreciate the manner in which the work was done and would hire Lowry's again.

It went very well. The serviceman arrived on time and quickly removed the old faucet and installed the new one.

Minimum service provided. In previous years this service included cleaning the burners, but this provider said this would be an extra charge.

They did a great job at a great price. The person who preformed the work was professional, and did the work quickly.

I asked the repair man to replace an outdoor faucet and he disagreed with what my husband and I wanted to do. His assessment would entail thousands of dollars of work and all I wanted was to be able to attach my hose to the pipe. It was clear I was going to get nowhere with him, so I thanked him for showing up and told him I would not need his services. He left. They did not call me back and I did not pursue it any further. I did not realize I could get a refund and then saw something on your website and sent a note. This happened at least 4 or 5 months ago. Thanks.

We've had no problem since they replaced the faucet so it turned out wonderfully. He was able to get it out without having to cut a hole in the wall. So it was good. Before he started he voiced his concerns about whether or not he could get the old one off because if he couldn't get it off it would involve cutting holes in the wall to get it out because it was an old home. But he got it out and replaced with no problem.

The prices are reasonable. They came out very promptly. They are courteous and professional. They are also very nice and gets everything clean.

I purchased a $49 Angie's List Big Deal for this service and they were good; I liked them. They know what they are doing, but they are expensive. They are like any of those larger companies, too expensive. I am better off to go to a smaller, two-person company. However, with this company if something is wrong there is somebody to go complain to. I would use them again.

The provider was on time and very friendly. He was thorough and cleaned up after himself. His work was great, and the pricing was fair. We got connected with them because of an Angie's List Big Deal, but we will definitely be looking at using them again for any future needs we have.

My husband and I liked the service provided by Lowry's, so we hired them to instal extra outlets we needed and some outdoor work as well. We will definitely hire them again if we need anything else done.

Unfortunately I was unable to use the Big Deal because the work I needed to have done was going to be too expensive.

They showed up promptly, on time and did a thorough cleaning and inspection of my cooling system. I even asked them to check something else out related to temperature regulation and they did that as well with no extra charges.

I purchased this Big Deal for my son. The Lowry representative was professional and courteous. He performed the tune up on a gas-fired hot water baseboard heating system, and demonstrated key maintenance measures that my son could take to keep his system in order. While his system is quite old, there was no hard sell on a new system. He was very satisfied with the service.

I have used this Company on 2 previous contracts and had joined their "plumbing and heating memberships" for the discount. I called the office to have a plumbing valve replaced that was leaking. The plumber came to my house and said that the work would take two hous and the written quote was $1017.00. I refused to have him do the work due to the obvious rediculous overcharge. The next day I had the work done by another Company. It took the plumber 35 minutes to complete the job and the cost was $175.00. I have used Angies List many times and this is the only time I was not satisfied.

Everything went great.. From appt time to time of service. The plumber even went the extra mile and stepped out to pick up a "better" faucet for our needs at no extra cost. Would use them again without hesitation.
