Description of Work: I did not end up using their services because it was determined they weren't needed. That being said, I thought I had an urgent infestation issue developing and they quickly responded, inspected immediately and made prudent recommendations to nip the issue right away. I was lucky, but also greatly appreciated their approach, which was not to force service, but rather genuinely offer an opinion and suggest follow up if, and ONLY IF, the problem persisted. Absolutely will use them again when needed.

Description of Work: I had a lot of small ants in the kitchen and outside the back door in the courtyard. |The day of the first visit the technician that services my neighborhood was unveil- |able and a substitute was sent which was only partially satisfactory. The regular technician had to return two more times to totally fix the problem but they were prompt and professional.

+ -1 moreI thought that I had termites, and they determined that I did not have them. They told me that I would be best served if they did not do any service. They advised me to buy Ortho Max and treat the problem myself. They were willing to spray it, but I could do it myself for a fraction of the cost. I was happy that they positively identified the insect and that it was nothing to be concerned about. The inspection was free. I liked that they were forthright and honest and advised me the easy and cheapest way to take care of it. They were out within 24 hours and were here right when they said they would be here. He explained things to me clearly, so I knew exactly what he was talking about. I would rate them highly and would use them again in the future if necessary.
Description of Work: I used Humphreys Pest Control to do an inspection for termites.

+ -1 moreThey come out once in every quarter and spray based on the season to prevent whatever bugs that might come out. Whenever they come out, I pay them for what they do. I have not compared their price with others but it seems reasonable for me. They are very professional. If I have a problem, they will come back. I have been happy with them.

+ -1 moreThe Humphreys exterminator arrived on time and proceeded to explain what he would be doing to remediate the problem of carpenter ants found during a home inspection. He was profession, friendly, and performed the work quickly and efficiently. His price was competitive with another service that was consulted. What I really liked most was that, when I first called the office to inquire about an estimate and schedule the work, they took my information and acted quickly to respond to my questions and book the service call. Many contractors and vendors take your call and then never get back to you. Humphreys was really on the ball, and the problem was solved within days. I really appreciated their responsiveness.
Description of Work: Humphreys performed remediation services to exterminate carpenter ants following a home inspection report.

+ -1 moreWe didn't end up needing to use Humphreys, but I would definitely use them in the future. Paul wasn't pushy or trying to get us to buy things, especially that we didn't need (like Terminix, for example). He went into detail about the job and followed up with me. It was great!
Description of Work: I was very impressed by Humphreys responsiveness. We found a little mud hut in a window sill, so I went online to research what it was and exterminators. I found Respond.com, submitted a request, and Humphreys was one of the companies that contacted me. It was on a Saturday, and one of their reps, I believe his name was Paul, called to discuss the job. He also mentioned that if we had treatment before, we might already be covered and not have to pay for new treatment (we moved in less than a year ago and the seller had to do a little treatment for termites).

+ -1 moreWe called first for squirrel issues and then mouse and ant problems. We have been dealing with them on a regular pest control program for at least 4 or 5 years.
Description of Work: Actually, Humphrey's has done a great deal of work for us. Quarterly pest inspections, rodent control, squirrels of all types in the attic and cleaning the attic after the squirrels (including flying squirrels) were gone. All the people we have dealt with are pleasant, professional, and helpful.

+ -1 moreI would surely use this company again. I do not like to mess around with mice. Any price he probably gave me I would have thought was good. If you see mouse droppings, its fair to say that you have either a mouse or a rat. He detected them very fast and got rid of them fast too. That was enough to make me happy.
Description of Work: I found mouse droppings in my three bedroom home. Pat from this company found the mice, trapped them and got rid of them.

+ -1 moreWhile they were courteous and generally on time, they weren't particularly effective. I called specifically for mouse control and told them that up front. They offer a monthly service for a year, but after a few months it was clear that the mouse problem didn't diminish and they don't come back except for the regularly scheduled time.
Description of Work: They provide a monthly service that includes a spray and a trap setting to control insects and mice.

+ -1 moreA MAN CAME OUT AND INTRODUCED HIMSELF AND SPRAYED THROUGHTOUT THE HOUSE. HE ALSO PLACED FOOD OUTSIDE THE HOUSE TO THE ANTS WOULD BRING THEM BACK TO THEIR HABITAT. THE WORK WAS GUARANTEED FOR 60 DAYS--WE SAW ANTS BEFORE THE 60 DAY GUARANTEE AND THEY HONORED THEIR GUARANTEE AND SPRAYED AGAIN. NO MORE ANTS.

+ -1 moreWE HAD CARPENTER ANTS AND THEY HAD TO COME OUT TWICE TO GET RID OF THEM. THIS COMPANY, NO MATTER WHAT TIME OF DAY, WOULD CALL AND SAY THEY WERE COMING OUT THE NEXT DAY OR SO. IF YOU MISSED A MONTH YOU WOULD GET A LETTER OR CALL FROM THE MAN COMING OUT THAT HE WOULD BE IN OUR AREA AND TO CALL HIM AT HOME TO BOOK AN APPOINTMENT. HE WAS PERSISTENT. HE KEPT CALLING AND TOLD US YOU SIGNED A CONTRACT, KINDA LIKE A PUNISHMENT FOR SKIPPING A MONTH NO MATTER WHAT OUR CIRCUMSTANCE MIGHT HAVE BEEN. AFTER THE CONTRACT RAN OUT WE DID NOT RENEW. PRICE FOR SERVICE WAS GOOD AND LOW.
