Description of Work: General heating system tuneup, plus replacing the filter. The technician was helpful in showing me how to adjust the heat and AC return flow and discussing ways to get more cool air into my loft/attic office.

Description of Work: Serviceman arrived at appointed scheduled time. Cleaned furnace. Suggested new system in near future; mentioned that perhaps a thermostat replacement might be considered. Was quick and made departure. Have not as yet accessed the furnace this season. Thank you.

Description of Work: ARS gave me the lowest quote of five companies I contacted in September to replace my 40 year old boiler and they did so quickly and well. So far, everything seems to be working well. My only complaint was that a new thermostat was included in the quote but not installed until I contacted ARS later to question that. After a few days and a couple e'mails, this was resolved and I believe it was more a result of a paperwork error than any attempt to cut corners. Otherwise everyone showed up when he said he would and performed the work in a friendly, courteous and professional manor.

Description of Work: They installed my air conditioning unis about 25 years ago and I have been using them since on a maintenance contract basis. I therefore see them twice annually for cleaning of furnace and maintenance of my air conditioning unit and duct work. I have been consistently pleased with their performance even though I've been told I can have work done more reasonably by other companies.

Description of Work: Summer A/C checkup. At the time they did the checkup, my blower motor was not working and they got it to work. However, it died again within a day. They were good enough to try, though. I've used ARS for years to maintain my furnace and air conditioning.
