We have been customers of ARS for over 35 years. They have proven over and over again to have competent employees, their charges are reasonable, and their entire organization is friendly and welcoming.

Guys who installed were great. very knowledgeable and friendly.

Fast, professional, and reliable. Came early on scheduled day, and gave detailed explanations for any questions I had.

I called to get an appointment and received the first appointment the following morning, 6/7/2022. I was told that the troubleshooting fee would be $109 and that parts & labor would cost extra. The technician arrived promptly and was most courteous. I have used this company in the past, and received good service at a fair price. The technician was most knowledgeable and determined, in about 5 minutes, that the problem was a failed capacitor. He said that the cost of the capacitor was $401 and, if I wanted air conditioning today, it would cost me a total of $510 including the troubleshooting fee. I said that the last time I had a capacitor replaced, I thought it was $35 for the part. He explained to me that due to issues getting parts that are manufactured in China, the price was now $401 and some service companies were gouging people and charging them labor as well. He had the part on his truck. I provided my credit card and the technician told me that he was able to discount something or other and that my final total was $477. I finger-signed his work order on his tablet computer, but received no paperwork. I thought I might get an email receipt, since I gave them my email address, but nothing came. My credit card does have a $477 charge pending. After he left, I checked online and websites were stating that as of February 2022, the price for that exact part replacement would range from $90 to $250. I checked another parts website, that I have used before, and their price for the OEM Carrier capacitor was $35 with free shipping. The technician told me that some websites were advertising capacitors for around $100. Now I admittedly am NOT an HVAC expert and I may have been treated fairly, but I have extreme doubts. I like to rely on trustworthy, expert, providers and pay them a reasonable fee to cover their costs and a make fair profit. After this incident, I will no longer be using this company. I no longer trust them. There is a possibility that I wasn't gouged, but, considering the sequence of events, I think it is likely that I was. The technician was done and gone in less than an hour, without coming inside the house, changing out a simple part that he carries on his truck. and I paid $477.

Steve was my technician and he arrived within the window of time given. He was very friendly and respectful. He didn’t mind me hanging around to see what he was doing and ask questions. He told me my furnace was old but was still working appropriately. He suggested I get it inspected yearly which I do. This was my second inspection because another company tried to use scare tactics by saying my co2 levels were really high and it was producing to much heat. He tried to sell me a new furnace. I saw how the other service man put his equipment in places that were wrong to get his readings so I got a second opinion from ARS. If you want a company that is honest and tells you the truth about your furnace call this company.@

Another family member had ARS for tune up and repair, so I thought I would give them a try for a "tune up" special. Aaron came within the time period expected. Cleaned and inspected the furnace, replaced the filter, and checked for carbon monoxide issues. None found. Aaron was courteous and didn't find any issues. Thank you!

I highly recommend ARS, particularly Aaron M. Aaron was very knowledgable and polite. He made it a pleasant experience.

Serviceman gave the furnace a fairly thorough check up trying to diagnose my problem. He couldn't pin point the problem (an intermittent banging noise), but it wasn't for a lack of trying. Answered all my questions quite well and put my mind at ease concerning the safety of the furnace. His speculation on the problem turned out to be correct - it was something in the ductwork. Would definitely call again.

Needed to replace our 22 year old equipment. Replaced with Carrier equipment. Contacted 4 companies and ARS was the best price and could fit us quickly for the install. Mike the salesman was very helpful in helping us purchase the correct equipment for our house. Eric and his assistant arrived in the morning and by 4pm we had the old equipment removed and new equipment installed. Eric instructed us on the new thermostat and stayed until we didn't have any questions. Supervisor arrived to review the work and answer any questions that we might have. Eric was very knowledgeable about his work. Both Eric and his assistant were courteous and informative. Very happy with our purchase. ARS did all the paperwork for the warranty and sent us the document for our records. BTW the equipment is running perfect and much quieter than our old Bryant.

We went to home Depot for their deal of 2 years interest free financing, and they sent out and ARS sales guy. Very professional sales man and talked to us about what we wanted and why we wanted to get AC. He told us the things we could do besides updating our furnace and gave us new home owner advise on how to make the furnace and AC more efficient. He talked my husband and I through the different options of efficacy that they had for both heating and cooling. He explained that all the installers have to go through training and have to be professional at the job as well as off the job in the community, which really shows us that they care about the potential customers and the good name of ARS. When the sales man was adding everything up and quoted us, he said that he forgot that the chimney would have to be drilled and sealed for the other gasses to leave the furnace, and since the quote was already up that would have to be free. We were in no rush, and three weeks later we had two guys take and haul away the old (it was from 1981) furnace and install the new one, as well as our new AC. The house was updated with a Nest thermos. We did have to vacuum after they left, but for the quality of professionalism and knowing that they will come out to service it if anything fails, a bit of clean up was not an issue.

Purchased HSP ( Home Service Program) to cover both heating and cooling units. Agreement covers portions of parts/labor. Fortunately nothing needed replaced.

Exceptionally well. It was a bit pricy, in the sense that it was approx. $90 for them to just come out, but the technician, (James, I believe) was able to diagnose it right away, he then spent time educating me about various furnace issues, and wasn't pushy. very nice, knowledgable, and professional.

The $175 was for a spring and fall check up. They did what they needed to do and we were very happy with them.

I have an annual maintenance contract with them. The work they did for me was timely and professional. I've used them for years, since we've been here, so they're my go to people. I don't shop around, so they're good people.

They are very honest. I trust their opinion if theirs something wrong. I trust them to do work when they've found the problem. They call to remind me to do my cleaning and checking.

extremely well. They installed, cleaned up, hauled away the debris all in one day. The system is working fine.

So its been an A. They were wonderful they came out gave a good quote. They came out and did a great job. They explained everything before they were going to do before they did it. They did a great job. I would use them again.

Their technician was prompt, professional and very thorough in his inspection of our a/c unit. During his inspection, he discovered a mouse had chewed through some wire and made a nest inside the unit. He explained the issue to me, cleaned out the nest and replaced the damaged part with one he had on his truck. We were very pleased with the service provided by the technician.

We've used them for 18 years and they've been fine. They come out twice a year. We have a annual maintenance plan with them. The only thing I don't like about them is they try to sell you something every time they come. We don't pay anything, we just pay like an annual $100, so there isn't a metric to compare it to.

The guy was very pleasant, competent, arrived early, and left the place clean.

World's worst. I really, they tried to trick me. My heating system, the old one, wasn't old then. The guy came in and said, it was cracked and leaking gas. Wanted me to buy a system them. I told him I don't use it much, and don't know why it was like that. I told him I was going to have someone else come in and check it. He then shut my whole system down. I ended up calling someone in, the guy said no crack, and reading from the gas said zero. They came, and you know what. After he shut it down, on a Friday. He was suppose to come back on an Monday, to look at the system again. I was calling him to turn it back on. They didn't come on that Monday. They never come, and never took my call. I guess he was mad that I was going to call someone else for a second opinion. I took notes and all, and might have the records. I would certainly let you see that. It was that one person. He seemed nice. That was before I knew the other stuff about him. About forty five minutes.

I think their pricing was competitive.

We didn't get them through Angie's List, they used to be General Heating and that is who we bought the equipment from. We have been generally pleased with them. We have a contract with them. they come out and they do the service twice a year. The cost is like $260 and they come out twice a year. They are good about putting stuff on their shoes when they come in. They don't try to push too much on you like you want this extended contract. Last time he was here, he thinks that we are going to need a new heating system because some of the noises and stuff but he doesn't recommend getting it until it completely blows as opposed to someone trying to force a new thing on you.

They were willing to listen to my questions. They were able to describe what they were doing. They were very prompt and did a good cleanup job.
