They were prompt, efficient, and explained what they did quite well.

Everything was good. There were no problems and they were in and out. They have always come right away when we called them.

Very good. They removed the old one and installed a new one in about 5 hours. Cleaned up everything and no damage to doors.

We went to the home show in February to look at the different options for ductless systems. After some research we decided to go with Mitsubishi. At the home show I got a list of the DIAMOND level partner that could offer 7 year warranty versus the normal 5. It took 2 weeks to schedule and complete 3 estimates. ARS Pittsburgh was the 2nd company we looked at and the one we chose to do the work. After we decided to move forward Chris Miller who did the original quote sent a second person to take a look at things. He had 2 great ideas about equipment placement that I had not considered. The work took about 6 hours to complete. 2 guys showed up on-time and completed at about 2 PM. They cleaned up all the mess and gave us some operation training. ARS turned out to be the cheapest of the 3 on exactly the same system. One bid was $600 more and the other was $900 more. Price made the decision easy, but the installation was painless.

I have used ARS for years because of my home warranty company. We recently discontinued the warranty because the yearly payment exceeded the repairs done. We paid for a routine cleaning in Oct which seems to be on par price wise with other places. However when my furnace stopped working I called them for a diagnosis and they wanted to charge $95 just to look at it. When I called a competitor they charged considerably less for the diagnosis and they would count that towards any repairs that needed to be done. When I called ARS back and asked if they would match this and apply the $95 towards the cost of repairs they said no and without even trying to keep my business cancelled my appointment to have the furnace looked at. THE NEXT DAY RON SMITH CALLED ME HIMSELF TO APOLOGIZE. THANK YOU MR. SMITH that call was enough for me. I've asked them for an estimate on a new furnace. A LITTLE CUSTOMER SERVICE GOES A LONG WAY. I do want to point out that the techs were good and they always fit us in. They always ran late but were professional and clean.

The installers Greg & Tim were very proffesional and polite. They did a great job installing the furnace. However by Friday after fixing the duct work Wenesday we had to have someone out at 10pm because there was no air coming out of half of the duct work in the house. Cris fixed the problem and so far(SUnday) it is working fine. The other complaint I had was all salesman, sales manager, and the installers were late by at least a hour or more. Not vey puntual.

ARS came in through our home warranty program to investigate some noises in our furnace and uneven heating. The technician who came was very helpful and was able to diagnose the problems. Unfortunately, the return vents needed to improve the even heating is not covered under the home warranty. The technician gave me some information on what would need to be done and how long it would take. Overall, he was very helpful.

Everything went well. They're reliable and knowledgeable, and I would highly recommend them.

Gas furnace had malfunctioned - large gas detonation occuring each time furnace would ignite. Detonation could be felt through the floors of the house and flames could be seen through the furnace grating at ignition. Smart valve would open to allow gas into furnace, signal would be sent to ignitor, but since ignition was delayed, once lit, the furnace contained a larger volume of gas than necessary resulting in quite a boom. Technician from ARS was timely, polite and willing to explain everything. **Price was listed as N/A because ARS was chosen for me by my home warranty provider.

We live in a 3-story townhouse with a difficult-to-access rooftop, on which the AC sits. At the beginning of the season, the AC broke and I called this company and explained to them that they need long extension ladders and need to setup the ladder on the deck behind the unit. Getting to the deck requires going around the unit and climbing down a small hill. I admit it is difficult but other service men were and are able to do it. These technicians did not want to do it and they just advised me to get a hold of the neighbor who has an accessible rooftop, from which one can go over to ours. I do not know any of the neighbors and it is almost ridiculous to ask such a thing, considering how difficult it is to fit everyone's schedule, etc. In any case, they charged $100 for a service fee, which, I guess, includes driving down here and dispensing useless advice.

The two man crew arrived on time and installed the system the same day in a very professional and neat manner. I was very pleased with the job.

They do fabulous work and I am very pleased with them.

It has turned out very well; we are very pleased. They are very courteous and if we have a problem they will come right out.

It turned out very well. I shopped around and got about 6 estimates and they were the most competitive. They also provided a 10 year warranty which provided me with a sense of security for the next 10 years, which most companies did not offer. They did the job well and they were professional.

Our overall experience is good and we will use them again in the future.

They even took a camera and showed me all of the problems. They showed me what was wrong and they came in here and went to work. The guys were great. They were on time and did what they said they were going to do. I recommend them to anyone because they are very trustworthy. I have no complaints.

I had some people that were meticulous homeowners who used them. That's what caused me to change.

ARS servicemen are neat, professional and efficient. They are also both courteous and timely.

Service performed as usual ... but someone from their corporate office keeps calling us and wanting to schedule service again ??? why ... I have told them at least three times that it has already been completed. Do they not speak with each other? Why are they harassing their long term customers with multiple needless phone calls? And calls not only for service but for wanting to do insulation inspection .. again multiple calls ... they do not seem to want to take no for an answer. We have been using these folks for 30 years but if they do not knock off the phone calls .. this may be the last year we do.

I have an annual maintenance agreement with them.

I received excellent service. When I called them, they sent someone out that same day or the next day and let me know what type of heating system I would need. Within two to three days heating system would be installed. They came right on time and the installation went perfectly.

All of my contacts with all of their personnel were pleasant and professional. The work was done promptly and cleanly and has been performing just fine.

They had to come 3 or 4 times before they got the problem solved. While Bob,the service technician, was in my house he used his cell phone to take pictures of the inside of my house that had nothing to do with my furnace they were fixing. I live in the center of an organized crime area, and I feel like he could be sending these pictures to people so my house can be robbed. I called the office and talked to Sue, the receptionist, and expressed my concerns about this issue. The receptionist then got angry and hung up on me. The first time they came out I gave Bob a check, when they came out the second time they advised me they had lost the check so I had to stop payment on the previous check and write them a new one.
