We needed to replace our 11 year-old heat pump/AC unit and called for an estimate. That was just before Memorial Day weekend (2019) and within about a week and a half a five-man crew had installed our new system. We also had additional electric outlets installed in our basement. All the guys were very nice and knowledgeable. Very professional. We could not be happier with our choice of contractor. The thing we really liked about them is they listened to us and did exactly what they said they would do.

Called on a Tuesday he set up an appointment for the next morning was here and repaired gas hot water heater in a very short time and was very reasonable in the price.

I posted on Home Adviser about my water heater on Sunday, and got an immediate response! They came over on MEMORIAL DAY to assess the issue, discovered I needed a NEW water heater. They came on Tuesday morning with it, removed the old one, installed the new one, in short order, took the old one with them when they left. The men were courteous and knowledgeable in their work. I think it was less than 2 hours and we were back in business with hot water! Can't say enough about their quick service and timely arrival on such short notice and even on a holiday. Scott Sheaffer is going to be my "go to" guy for things I need done within his realm. Highlly recommended! True professionals!!

They showed up promptly as scheduled and completed replacement of water heater in less than an hour. They cleaned up everything. Even wound up hose I had connected to drain heater. Would definitely use them again for any plumbing work. Cost was less than other quotes I had.

Outstanding job replacing fuel oil boiler. There was a faulty part from the manufacturer and Scott had his crew there asap and stayed till he was sure the problem was fixed.

My hot water heater stopped working. The problem ended up being a leak underneath the mobile home. I had a different company come in to give an estimate. The other company, who I will not even bother revealing the name of, gave an estimate that was almost $2000 to replace pipes that they could see, or $8736 to repipe my place. I really just wanted the leak fixed. I called Sheaffer's Mechanical afterwards. They came out very quickly. They were very nice guys who clearly knew what they were doing. They fixed the leak very quickly for $125. Do yourself a favor and contact these guys for any plumbing needs. They are awesome! They also do heating and air conditioning.

He watched out for me by trying to keep the costs down. He did a great job and was prompt.

When heat pump was installed the second emergency heating element was not wired. During the winter we realized something was not right and they fixed it. Requested a receipt several times and never received one. Was promised free two time a year preventive maintenance for 5 years. They were supposed to be here two weeks ago, canceled due to an emergency furnace installation, and will not answer my texts as to when they will get here.

scheaffer's mechanical arrived on two hours notice to replace my leaking water heater and did an excellent job and were professional and courtious. I could not believe how fast their response time was. I also hired them to clean and maintain my furnace. AWESOME EXPERINCE.

Scott was able to get me scheduled quickly. His price was very reasonable, and his crew was skilled and friendly. They drained and removed the old tank (which they hauled away), and promptly installed the new tank. I will definitely be calling them again for future projects. Highly recommend!

All companies that provide a service to homeowners could learn a lot from Sheaffers Mechanical about customer satisfaction. When you call they answer the phone, not a machine. They explain repair option in clear understandable terms. No hard sell, they don't try to sell you things you don't need. They are upfront about the cost. No hidden charges or added fees. They arrive when they say they will and do the work in the time they say. They leave the work area clean. I will use them for all future HVAC needs. I agree with the other five star reviews they received. Scott and his crew are knowledgeable, hard working and honest. I'm glad I called them.

This is a top notch company. Excellent communication with Scott Sheaffer, kept me up to date on progress on my purchase of a new central air system, delivered on time, brought the whole crew to handle this big project. Knowledgeable in all aspects, the supposed 2+ hour job finished in just over 1 hour, system up and running . Well satisfied with the work they did, the cleanup afterwards. A good, quality product and service at a very reasonable price. Very amicable to work with while we were deciding what system would work best for us, rather than "pushing" a particular brand. That impressed me!! All around, a great deal, a wonderful job done, and I'm more than satisfied. I will call them again for all of my home repair needs. This is one honest man to deal with. And that, to me, means a lot!
