I have an inexpensive wooden fence that had fallen down and parts that were never put up, but had the materials to do so. I needed someone to come in and finish the installation and make any repairs to the existing fence. I used a coupon from Angie's List for The Fence Experts. Two young men came out and had the entire fence back up well within the two hours I had paid for, and then did other minor repairs to the gates, when asked if they could do anything else. They hauled away broken pieces and old concrete and cleaned up all of the spots where they had to dig new holes. I was so impressed with the speed and completeness of the job these two men did! I could not have been more pleased with my experience. All of the arrangements were made conveniently over the internet including the estimate based on photos that I emailed to them. The work was completed when promised and the quaility of the work is outstanding. What I appreciated most is that they took the time to reinforce and reuse what I already had rather than simply replace the components that were age stressed. I will absolutely use this company again.

Fence experts had the best quote out of the 4 we got for fencing, they also had very good reviews here which is what sold us on them. The showed up on time and did a great job with the installation despite some areas being difficult to work on. They then later followed up with us on the quality of the work and then later came out to fix the gate which had become uneven due to hurricane Sandy and the latch was not lining up with the gate. The fixed it up with no charge. Overall a great experience and I would definitely use them again

Overall the work was good. I think the new gate could have been built sturdier and the gate closure fixture at the back door was reinforced by a stick from a tree in the yard.

It went very well. They were delayed starting a bit due to heavy rain. The crew worked almost non-stop. The finished fence is great. I would definately use them again. Everything was done in a very professional manner. They really are fence experts.

They were very easy to work with and did a good job. They were quick. They let me know when they were coming. There were a couple changes we made, and they were very cordial about it. There were no problems.

The Fence Experts (TFE) came out to see the property and our fencing needs. We received quotes for 2 different types of fencing and decided on the post and rail with 2x4" black wire and 3 gates, including a 10' gate for equipment access. TFE gave us a work date but they were able to perform the work earlier than expected - which was great. The quality of the materials is excellent as was the quality of the work itself. The workers were polite and efficient. We also asked them to replace some corner fencing in our front yard (no wire) and they were able to complete that the same day. Once the fence was installed, which was needed to allow our new puppy to have freedom, we realized that she was able to possibly escape by going on the deck and jumping over the sides (something that we didn't realize when we made our initial fencing request). We called Jason and asked if they could install a gate and fencing to the deck so she would only have access when we were out with her. He gave us a price and scheduled the work very quickly. Again, it was done well. The above amount spent includes the initial quote for the fenced in yard, additional gate and fencing, and replacement fencing in the front. We used the Angie's List coupon offered by TFE which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely use TFE again.

We had a bit of a problem getting together due to how busy they were. They came and gave me a very reasonable estimate. Due to monetary constraints it took a couple of weeks before we were ready for them to begin. Weather caused a few delays but the crew was very efficient once they began. They even cleared the brush around the fence that I could not due to my disability. When they did they found more damage and needed to replace more of the fence than they originally thought. They let me know how much more it would be and finished the job after I gave them the go ahead. The finished fence looks beautiful, even better than the original ! We will definetely be using them again to replace our aging original wood fencing around the rest of the back yard. A very nice group of people to work with.

We recently bought a house in Lancaster that did not have a fence, and we have 3 dogs. Installing the fence ourselves was out of the question due to busy schedules, so we got quotes from several contractors and the Fence Experts was more reasonably priced than the competition. It did take a while from the date we initially signed the contract to get on their schedule, which is was understandable due to the late season push we were up against. We got a call about a week ahead of time to set a date, then the morning of the team showed up and walked the area with me to make sure we were on the same page as far as location of the fence and gates. They finished 90% of the install, and the only reason they didn't finish in a day was because they hit rock on the side we wanted a gate and had to return the following Monday with the jackhammer to finish the job. We went with 4 ft split rail covered in a coated wire mesh to keep the dogs in. The fence looks great, my husband and I are thrilled with the job and quality of the construction. My husband is a big DIYer and is super picky, so for him to say the gates and fence look great, they really do. Thanks Fence Experts!

Mark the sales rep was very nice and professional. He answered all of our questions. The installers that came out to our house were friendly and professional as well and cared about doing the job right. Overall, it was a good experience.

Other than confusion on the precise location of the fence (confusion of understanding township regulations and lack of communication) and not having the materials (mesh wire fence) to complete the job the first time, the crew was dependable, quick and clean. We are very pleased with our new fence, especially our three dogs.

We had about 500 linear feet of privacy fence and split rail fence installed. Jason, Abram and Ryan did an excellent job of tying the two types of fence together ensuring that the entire fence would keep our small dog enclosed within the yard. They even tied the the fence in with a couple of very large trees, requiring skilled custom work. we made a couple of changes at the last minute and they were able to adapt very easily. I would use them again and recommend them to my friends and family. Great Team to work with.

For the 2nd time, we have a great experience with them. One of our dogs is big and tends to jump on our vinyl fence, eventually damaging a few spots. A made the call to them and I think rep Mark came to do an assessment the next day. We had an estimate from them a day later. When I called to make 50% deposit and schedule the repair appointment I was told it would probably be 2-3 weeks before they could do it. As expected, they arrived two weeks later. I haven't even seen the results yet but my husband said it looks awesome and said "they hire well!" so it must have been a good experience with the guy doing the work

We had a great experience with The Fence Experts. It took us over a year to fence our yard because our initial estimates from other companies were so high. I finally came across The Fence Experts on Angie's List, and I was extremely happy with them from our initial contact until the job was completed. Scheduling our consultation was a breeze (no games of phone tag), and the day of, Mark showed up promptly and was great about listening to all of our ideas and offering his expertise. We were concerned with the amount of bushes, ivy and old fencing we had on one side of our yard, as another company we contacted told us we would have to figure out how to remove it ourselves before the fence went in, because it wasn't the type of work their company did. Mark assured us that clearing the debris would be no problem. He was quick to provide an estimate, which came in much lower than any other company we had dealt with. I had a few questions and changes to the original plans between the time of approving their proposal and when they actually came out to do the work, and every one of my questions was dealt with promptly and patiently. Both Mark and John were friendly and responsive on the office end during the entire process and Jason and the crew were fantastic. They gave me an estimated start date a few weeks before the work started and stuck to it - the only delay we had during the project was an unexpected problem they had at another site on a Friday, leading them to not get back to finish my fence until the following Monday. While the work was being done, they took extra care to make sure the fence was dog-proof for my two pups - and they cleared the debris I was concerned about with no problem. Again, I had questions about some tedious details and they were patient and accommodating in making sure I was satisfied. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional, hard-working fence company and wouldn't think twice about contacting them again if I had any other fence needs.

Jason was awesome from my first email. To preface, I asked four companies from my area for quotes and told all I preferred email correspondence since I work in the city AND don't have a private office. Sent diagrams of yard to all and gave all permission to visit the property without us home. One company never showed and one apologized--our property was too small. Jason responded prompty with a timeframe for his estimator to come out and look at the property and then promptly sent me a quote. The final company was prompt but called on the phone and tried to sell me up. Jason answered my millions of questions and provided alternative pricing for 2-rail vs. 3-rail fencing, with and without the wire mesh on 4/14. We accepted the quote and negotiated the start-date. The schedule from The Fence Experts gave me their time estimates for the fence before we paid our deposit and I appreciated the honesty. We weren't in a hurry, so this worked great for us. Yesterday, my husband stayed home for the installation and the guys were prompt. They answered a last minute question for us (we thought we might have a snag) and started the job. This fence was such a better quality fence then either of us expected. Posts were cemented in, they braved some wild blackberry bushes, and installed it beautifully. The gate was a work of art--at least in my opinion. Well made and strong posts and high quality wire and split rails. We love it enough that I took pictures to show others. Our dog, Max, an 85 lb. golden retriever, loves his new freedom. So do we! I highly recommend Jason and his crew. Feel free to contact me if you want to see this fence in person.

There were some problems, but they were very responsive in fixing them. The end product was very nice.

I compared them with other companies. I liked this company because, they came out, took measurements, gave me an estimate, and were very straight forward with me. I felt most comfortable with their service, so I decided to use them. They thoroughly explained everything with me, and I was very pleased with how everything turned out. They did an excellent job on the fence. I had to make some minor changes, and they were very accommodating.

It went well ...John kept in contact with me by email or phone, if i had questions....very professional and very polite group of guys all around.....I would def. recommend them to others and use again if needed....nice to see group of people that are polite and care about customers property and can answer your questions if need be....They knew what they were doing and didnt stop til it was done...Hard workers for sure.....

I got 5 estimates and these folks came in the lowest. They also gave references and pictures of their work without being asked. The overall experience was fabulous. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

From start to finish they did a perfect job.

They were great! This was the first contractor that we had out to the house that wasn't a complete disappointment. The crew was very friendly and understanding of my concerns regarding containing my 2 dogs. My small dog is very persistent and if he found any deviation int he fence line he would be gone. They took the time to show me the fence line and even perform an additional request from me that I made on day 2 of the project. They did minimal trimming of the trees to keep our privacy. The fence looks great and the gate hardware is so nice to operate. I would have them back if we needed additional fence work in the future

It went awesome, they did a great job. They were on time and on budget. They were very personable. They took pride in their work and did a very nice job. I have a lot of trees in my yard and they were sensitive to try and save the trees. They were creative with having the installment done. Everything was good.

Overall, I give this company a solid B-Minus. The pricing offered was competitive and it didn't take long to receive my estimate. The estimate was the lowest received, far lower than Main Street Fencing (the other company who quoted for our job). Once we agreed, the start date was a bit convoluted; we were told we would be contacted within three weeks, but we ended up having to email them to check on it. It was several days later when we finally heard when we could expect our installation. This was also delayed due to bad weather, but this was obviously not the company's fault. Workers arrived around 10 AM and they were very friendly. We had someone in our yard a few days beforehand to mark off utility lines and such. Within two hours of their start time, however, I discovered my internet (and thus my phone) was no longer working. Apparently, the workers had inadvertently cut the line to Comcast. The workers were very nice about the whole thing - they claimed Comcast didn't mark it and Comcast later said they DID mark it. Who knows; I am stuck in the middle. Unfortunately we went without service from Comcast for five days. I wanted to wait to send them their final payment until I was sure that Comcast was not going to charge me for repairing the outside line, but they are pretty firm on their payment terms - one half up front and then the balance within 10 days of job completion. In fact, I received several preliminary "final" invoices before the job was done. The job ended up taking three days (not full days). The first day was the longest. The second day was a partial day and the workers came to our home and stated that they had not brought the proper materials to finish our job and that they would return on Monday. On Monday, the job was finished and it looked very nice. They communicated with us when we were deciding how to install our larger gate, including which way we wanted it to swing (in or out). There were a couple of hiccups here and there but it wasn't a terrible experience. We'd probably use them again...only this time, make sure Comcast has marked those lines carefully so there is no outage of service!

Jason, Mark, and the crew did a really wonderful job on our red cedar fence. We picked a 1 1/2 inch shadow box fence (around 270' of fencing) along with three gates, and all posts were capped with pyramid style cap. They answered all my questions back and forth until we got the estimate and invoice with all the information right (the kind of locks, the position of the locks, etc.). They were patient with my questions. The Fence Experts had the best price of the estimates we collected, and they were able to come out within a reasonable time frame of only 3 weeks from the initial call (i.e. in 2011 instead of us having to wait until 2012 for the job). The whole job from tearing down the old fence and putting up the new fence took them only an astonishing two days, back to back (another fencing company we used many years ago was not so great--they put up poles for the chain link fence and then didn't put up the actual fence for 2 weeks!!). Needless to say based on previous experience I was so thrilled to see this whole job done in two days without a hitch. They never called me with any problems or issues and did not try to tack on more money to the job by claiming there was this or that problem. This was a really hard job because there were bushes all over the place as well as gravel pushed up against the old fence. They also ran into a problem with shale, and I thought the job would extend into a third day. I was so excited when I came home and found out they were able to finish it at the end of day 2. I cannot believe how well the new fence came out. It has improved the look of our property 200%, and we will definitely call The Fence Experts again for any fencing needs we have.

A tree fell on top of my fence. I had several estimates. The Fence Experts were very reasonably priced so I was not only able to replace the damaged fence but I was also able to fence the front porch. They did a beautiful job. I am just so pleased with the results. The communication and entire staff are so professional.
