I did not know anything about fencing and had no friend recommendations of contractors, so I joined Angie's List for this purpose. I had a few contractors from Angie's List come out for estimates -- all were very professional and responsive -- and Fence Experts had the best price and high reviews on Angie's List, so we hired them. Throughout the process, the estimator/sales person was very responsive, answering MANY questions patiently along the way and sending multiple estimates to address various details, changes, options, etc. When I was getting estimates, their initial fence length measurement was different from other contractors, so when I contacted them to ask about if there was an error, they came right back out to remeasure and corrected the estimate -- with apologies and assurance that it was simply an error. Given the good service we received through the process, I do not doubt this. Since the fence was so that we could adopt a dog, getting the dog was on hold until we could have installation, which increased the "urgency" for our family. I was very pleased that: 1) they came out when scheduled (well, it rained ridiculously h****** the morning they were actually scheduled, so they said they would come out the next morning, which was reasonable, and they did), 2) that they returned the next day promptly to finish the job, 3) the installers were very detail oriented, asking many questions to make sure they did what we wanted, 4) the fence looks great. I was a bit concerned, given some of my past experience with different contractors, that I was hiring someone basically unknown to me (except for Angie's List), but I am very pleased with their service, quality, and product.

It went fine I got what was expected. They came out 2 weeks later with a 1 week delay on my part. I paid $110 online and he balance was $145.

The people we originally hired to build the fence did not do a great job and over the past couple of years parts of our fence sagging. I purchased the coupon from Angie's List and called them to see about repair work. A rep came out quickly and I showed him what I needed done. He gave me a rough estimate of what they could do and said it could be done within a week or two because of how busy they were at the time. Imagine my surprise when a couple of workers rolled up in a day or two to do the job. They had to take out one of the gate posts and put in a new one plus shore up sections near the gate. The crew went right to work. I was amazed how much they were able to accomplish in a short time. They also had to replace the gate hardware. I was satisfied with what they did in the one hour of the coupon.

This was one of Angie's LIst Big Deals and they did a very nice and efficient job. The gates work perfectly now, and there were no nails found anywhere on the ground (which concerns me as I have animals in the yards). The communication about the work was handled well via email and phone. The only negative is I came home at noon, expecting them to arrive at 1pm. When I got home, the work had already been completed and they were gone.

We got a black aluminum fence installed with the fence experts last year. The installation was great and we have been enjoying the fence since. Recently, however, something must have settled and the latch didn't line up so we could secure our gate. I contacted them and within a week it was fixed. I don't even know when - they just came and did it. It is great to have a company stand behind their work.

It went very well. Arrived on time and completed work in a timely manner. I am completely satisfied.

The Fence Experts were courteous and clear in their communications and in explaining their services. They replaced a gate, but the gate did not clear the fencing, and this had to be subsequently fixed. The fix was promptly done, but it should have either been done correctly initially or not been left for the customer to discover that it had not been done correctly.

FIRST DAY They came the day that was set for the installation on time . Three persons to do the job . The first day they removed the existing fence , for that they came with a large open truck and another machinery to perform the digging of the holes for the posts . I came back in the afternoon , they had coolers on my outdoor patio table and remove it when they saw me. I asked to one of them if they had lunch on my table ( it was dirty) and they said YES! . I had to point it out that they have to find a different place for lunch beside my table. When they left and moved the trucks out of my drive way , most of it was with oil stains . I called immediately to the company and the owner told me that he is sorry about it ( never happened before )and don't worry that they will take care of that bringing the next day a power pressure . Checking my property , they left cement bags on the grass ( after three days that grass area got ruined ) . Most of the lawn where the small truck got in and out RUINED . SECOND DAY Before they begin the job I asked the "worker in charge" about the stains . He said he noticed the truck was leaking the oil but didn't stop the work. He said they brought the pressure machine and they will repair the damage. END OF THE DAY Finally they finished and left the oil stains like the first day. Also left the irrigation system without working ( dug in some of the pipes) and the Invisible Fence as well ( They were aware about it ) Nobody called me to see what can be done to resolve the problem. Three days after I received an email with an invoice with the balance of the job ( I paid half in front) to be submitted immediately. I called the company talked again with the owner and told him how he has the nerve to send an invoice when he didn't even call me knowing that I still had my drive way with the oil stains . He apologized for everything and took care of the bill of the seal coating of the drive way (was the only solution ) It was $ 642.00 . Also Invisible Fence $ 137.00 . Didn't recognize the irrigation system $ 182.00. Also sent by mail a $ 50.00 gift card. The product it is what I paid for, but the treatment they did to my property shows the inexperience workers that came to do the job .

From start to finish we found our experience with the Fence Experts to be seamless and exceptional. We contacted three other fencing companies for quotes and hands down the Fence Experts were the most competetive in their pricing AND response time. John, Mark and Abe and his crew were professional from start to finish. Would highly recommend The Fence Experts!

Excellent service from estimate through final install, prompt, friendly and clean.

They were very professional and even came out a second time after the property was surveyed to measure again. When the pool contractors ran behind schedule they came out and put up a partial fence and came back once the job was completed to finish the fence. I would highly recommend Josh and his crew! Great service, very professional and very affordable.

Cheap, cheap, cheap and poor workmanship. They put new hardware on old rotting wood. I asked to be there when their guys came to do the work but they didn't honor my request - now I know why! However, I must take responsibility for not getting them back to fix things, which they offered to do, and will update this review after it's done.

went well. they did an excellent job. my only complaint was that someone forgot to load gates on truck and had to block gate openings with wire to prevent my dog from escaping out of the yard. this made it difficult to get in and out of yard from other than in the house. it was 5 days until they came back with gates - (there was a weekend in there) but it was an inconvenience especially since we had pouring rain and the pond maintenance man had to climb over fence and in the rain wasn't able to see that the wire could be unhooked.

Fence experts came out in early June and performed a free quote for us. They were the best price and we like the interaction so we went with them. They were 5-6 weeks out for the installation and, when it came time, they kept us up to date the week before as we prepared for the install date. Storms showed up the day of install but the day before and morning of Fence Experts were calling to provide us updates on their expectations to perform the work. Ended up raining too heavy so we had to push to Friday. They showed up right on time and got to work immediately. We needed some brush cut back to fit the fence line and they performed the work without a problem. I talked through the install with the foreman first thing and kept in touch as the day went on but they were a self-sufficient team. By the end of the day, they had the fence installed and we and our dog have been loving it since.

Definitely soooooo impressed with The Fence Experts. The whole transaction from start to finish was professional and courteous, such a relief....I had gotten 4 estimates prior to calling The Fence Experts. Sales Rep John Esh came out to give measure and give us an estimate to enclose our backyard w/fencing. We were looking for pricing and not sure if we were going to go w/wood fencing or vinyl. John was so nice and so patient. He gave us several estimates, so that we could get what we wanted for what we could afford. Again, John was sooooo patient! I kept changing styles until finally, I was happy with what we planned on getting! We set up the install date and Alvin and Brandon arrived on the date which is today! Super nice, courteous guys. They walked the property w/us and answered any questions we had and got right to work. I just want to say, it was hot and they worked hard and did a great job. Most importantly, they were just so easygoing and approachable, just really NICE guys which is a big deal to me. After getting the 5 estimates The Fence Experts' estimate was reasonable and affordable. I already had a neighbor call to ask their name and number. I will definitely be recommending them to everyone and will be getting a quote for my mother's property in the Fall. I appreciate them making this experience painless!

The service lievel in the office and on the job was highly professional, courteous and accomodating. Several of the dog ears on the fence were extremely rough so they sanded to meet our satisfaction. Would definitely recommend.

Great. The crew came out while snow was still on the ground. Leveled the fence posts and fixed the gate latches and handle. Worked quickly and was very pleased with the job.

We had some rain delays and when they came out they brought the wrong fence. It was quickly remedied. The day of the install the work went smoothly. They were very professional and neat.

Extremely courteous service both on the phone and on the ground. They sent nice guys who cared about what they did (this is a big plus these days!) They replaced 3 sections of fence and reattached another 5 or 6 that were loose. The only criticism I have is that the big deal is mis-advertised. It said $99 for 2 hours of fence work but it's really only 1 hour because they send 2 guys. This should be made clearer in the ad. Once you get 2 guys for $99 for 1 hour it's not such a big deal.

Someone came out to give me an estimate but never bothered to actually send me the estimate. I had to call their office twice in order to have the estimate emailed. I was told they had written down the wrong email address. I had given my email address to two different people on two different occasions and they should have received a bounce back by using the wrong email address. They also had a phone number to contact me. The office didn't really care and projects a very laid back attitude. They're not concerned at all about booking the job. So, I'm using someone else.

The Fence Expert team did a great job. They were courteous and professional and did the work actually in less time than they originally forecast. They also replaced a deck rail for me which was additional to the original work requested and did a super job with that as well. Extremely pleased with the work they have done.

They were able to come out and fix the posts in a timely cost effective fashion.

Obtained this service through a special offer from Angies List. The company asked that I send them via email photos of where fence repairs were needed. This possibly saved an extra trip for them and money for me. Plus they would have the right parts and materials when they got here. The company service crew of two men arrived on time and made the repairs in one hour (two man-hours total). This was not a complicated repair, but I am very satisfied with the work done.

I was contacted shortly after purchasing an Angie's list big deal, but was not ready for the fence repair yet. When the weather broke, I sent an email with what I needed repaired and was sent response quickly along with a price list of options I requested. I called to make an appointment and they were accommodating to my work schedule. They showed as agreed and replaced my post quickly. When complete, I asked them to check the rest of my fence for issues and found 5 more damaged posts which I had not noticed. I have recently received an estimate for replacing these extra posts and will be scheduling soon.

Overall a good experience, with two minor complaints. Scheduling of the actual installation was delayed twice, but once started it was completed in one day. Workmanship and professionalism were good. Much of the digging for the posts was difficult due to large rocks and stones in the ground... this digging was done primarily with a powerful skid-steer post hole auger which worked well. However, this machine did do a fair amount of damage to the lawn and one tree which I am still repairing. The finished fence is well-made, looks good and all gates operate smoothly and easily. I would recommend this company to family and friends.
