"English Lane is fantastic. No-nonsense... gets done what they say they will, on time, at or under the price they quote, and the results are beautiful. I'm willing to pay for that. I had another contractor quote half, charge me in the end double (and what EL had quoted originally), and get it done months later then they claimed. The other contractor also had that they would replace trees that died within one year of planting in the contract, and then later told me "they'd rather not" and I had to chase after them for months. I switched to English Lane thereafter for maintenance and updates, and then did our backyard with English Lane. English Lane replaces trees that look like they won't make it without even asking, and made a set of flowers free that came later than expected. I can't express enough the awful experience with the other contractor, and how much I appreciated and became willing to pay for "no b*******" and "telling it as it is." Not only will I never go back to that other contractor, I will only going forward use English Lane."

"Absolutely TREEmendous company! We had two huge pines in front of our house, one was dead and the other was half dead. Both were located in between power lines, our house and our neighbors house. Every storm I prayed that they didn’t fall on our house, on the power lines, or on one of our neighbor’s houses. And we had 3 big pines in between our pool and our neighbor’s shed. All seemed like difficult removals. In one day, while my husband and I were at work, they removed all 5 trees. I was amazed. The next day they came back and ground all the stumps. I could believe how industrious and fast this husband and wife team were! They were very nice, friendly people, who were professional and really seemed to enjoy their work. They were actually the third tree service we called and seemed very grateful for the work. The first company we called said they would give us an estimate and never came, after numerous phone calls. The second service came, but never got back to us with an estimate, again we called numerous times and all they would tell us is how busy they were. Woodchucker’s came when they said they were going to, gave us a fast and very reasonable estimate (much lower than my husband and I thought it would be) and showed up to do the work faster than I expected. It is great to do business with a company that actually makes you say “WOW!” I don’t find that happens often anymore. I highly recommend them! I will try to add photos of before and after so that you can see the incredible job they did!"
