MSI went far and beyond to meet my expectations. They thoroughly checked every part of my new house and even went beyond to make sure I was making a good purchase on my new property. They were on time, professional and spent adequate time to make sure I understood the whole process. I'm currently involved in another building that I purchased and I will be contacting MSI again for service

My condo suffered major water damaged and after notifying my building manager and insurance company, I was advised to get a water mitigation company to the condo ASAP. Its late in the evening and after leaving messaging and speaking with some "questionable" companies, I get a return call from Joe, the owner of MSI. MSI was the first company I had called based on excellent reviews on several sites. Joe took the time to answer my questions, explain the process to me and was able to schedule an appointment immediately. Joe and his team showed up on time, were extremely profession, and took time and proper measures to cover and protect my furniture. The job turned out to be much.. much more involved than simply removing wet and damaged drywall and carpeting because large amounts of mold and rot were discovered behind several of my walls. Joe and his team spend 6+ hours at my condo. For the amount of time and work his team did, I was expecting a bill at least double what he actually charged! The charges were extremely reasonable, the service was very detailed and they did a very thorough job cleaning up. After the job was completed, Joe again took the time to explain everything in detail and gave some great advise. Fast forward 2 few weeks after service is complete and bill was paid... While dealing with my insurance company, I had a question and reached out to Joe. He got back to me within an hour and again he was extremely helpful. Finding customer service like this, is a rare these days! Having been a homeowner for over 15 years in Pittsburgh, DC and Philly, I have hired many contractors for various jobs, working with Joe and his team was by far the best experience I have had.

MSI came to our house and used the latest equipment to test the air quality inside and directly outside of out house. Within a few days, we had a comprehensive report of levels of many types of mold. Luckily, we did not have a problem. MSI explained what they were doing and also walked us through the report when it was finished. They are very reasonable and helpful, and willing to answer followup questions. I would use them again if I ever think I have another problem.

We had a great experience with MSI. They are very responsive and arrive right on time. They use state of the art equipment and provided us with expert knowledge and guidance.They are very thorough. Joe inspected the room and found no evidence of damage. He walked me through the process and explained why he was confident in his assessment. I would use MSI again for any water or mold related issues.

Tested a new home I recently purchased. I used Joe from Mold Solutions and Inspections before, so when I bought a new home I called him again to check the house. It turned out there was mold in the basement because of an old leak. The test results and Joes's report helped us get money off the house for the repairs. I would recommend MSI to anyone and everyone that needs this type of service.

Joe and his team at MSI cleaned up a moldy mess in my new home prior to us moving in. The home had several leaks and one of concern was from a back up in the sewer line. They went around my schedule to get it done before we moved in and I couldn't be happier and more appreciative of their work.

While we were out of town a water leak started in our upstairs bathroom. When it was discovered by our cleaning lady there was an inch of water in the lower level bedrooms. Having read reviews for MSI and Joe on Angie's list I was comfortable dealing with him from a distance. Once I spoke to him on the phone I was even more reassured that I could safely let these people into my home when I was not there. Joe was very knowledgeable and helpful. He had me get a plumber in to locate the source of the leak first before they started the clean up. He called my insurance company (repeatedly) and started work after they gave the go-ahead, which was late in the afternoon, and he and his men continued to work into the night. The ceiling, floor and all four walls of one room had to be removed, along with all the contents; the floor and half of the walls of a second room, and portions of walls of adjoining rooms. They also treated for mold. The drying process took three days. Joe kept me apprised of what they were doing and how extensive the damage was. His estimate for the cost of his work, and also for the repair, was right on. I was very happy with how everything was handled and I would definitely recommend this company!

All people encountered within the company were knowledgeable, communicative and courteous. I am so glad I decided to hire MSI to do this job and would highly recommend them to everyone else.

Joe was on time, personable yet professional. He told us we had no obvious mold. He felt the fact we had the kitty litter boxes in the basement may have contributed to the problem and made some suggestions. He also gave us a few options to try before spending money on testing. He also told us that the price to repair the walls may not be worth the high cost as the repair of the wall would eventually crumble again. We felt he was very honest, not out to scam us. He did not charge for the evaluation which took about a half hour.

Joe and his guys were a pleasure to work with. He was quick to respond, honest, and they did a great job. Drywall cuts were clean, encapsulation was done completely, and everything was cleaned. All measures were taken to keep the air quality clean while the work was done.

I feel like Joe is part of my family at this point! We have had so much water damage in our home and once again he was there promptly to help. His team removed the walls and ceiling for my first two floors due to hidden water damage that destroyed the sheathing. They encapsulated the area and helped us figure out the source is the water. Joe is honest and trust worthy. I felt like I was talking to my friend. He gave me advice and referred me to other people as needed throughout the process. While I hope I never have anymore water damage, I'd be happy to work with him again. I can't recommend him highly enough.

During his inspection he found a damaged area in another area that ended up being filled with mold. He was so great to work with and earned my trust immediately. Very knowledgable and thorough.

We contacted Joe after a major leak in our master bathroom and major water intrusion in our basement during the last storm. Joe promptly called me back and scheduled a visit to complete a whole house mold inspection and testing (both air and swab samples). He arrived on the day of the scheduled visit right on time. He took the time to really let us know what testing was necessary and to explain everything. When the tests came back positive, he promptly scheduled a time to complete the remediation. All remediation was done in a timely manner and his crew was pleasant and efficient. He went above and beyond to make our home mold free which was critical, as we all have mold allergies and my son has asthma. He even completed additional spots that were found in the basement free of charge since they were already there doing the work. Joe checked in with me several times during the two days the remediation took place. He also followed up to make sure we were satisfied and didn't have any further questions. I recommend Joe and his team 100% and would call him again for any further needs.

As soon as we discovered the 2"x3" patch of mold on the ceiling of the basement, we immediately called Joe Fiorillo of Mold Solutions and Inspections. We had used Mold Solutions before to inspect some possible mold after a slow leak under a fireplace and were so pleased with Joe's company's prompt response, efficient and thorough work, fair pricing and professionalism that it was a no-brainer to call him again for this situation. When I phoned him late in the afternoon on September 30, he had a worker show up at my house first thing the next morning and then he showed up himself personally to check on the progress of the project. Before beginning any work, Joe's employee put up sheets of plastic to contain the area and keep the mold from contaminating anything. He then carefully removed the affected drywall and a sufficient amount of surrounding drywall to ensure that he got all possible mold spores and then cleaned up the entire area with a very powerful anti-microbial solution. He was also able to confirm our suspicions that the moisture causing the mold originated from a very slow drip coming from the toilet in the powder room directly above where the basement ceiling mold was discovered. Before Joe's worker left, he cleaned up the area better than he found it. Fans and a dehumidifier were left in place for three days to make sure that the entire area was as dry as possible. Joe then called to find out when it would be convenient for him to stop by to pick up his equipment and the job was finished. We are hoping that we will not have any more mold issues, but if we do, it is great to know that all we have to do is call Joe and he will take care of the problem for us!

We recently purchased an older home that was found to have mold in the basement and a large crawlspace area. Based on positive Angie's List reviews, I called MSI for an estimate. Joe was honest and told me upfront that it was a big a job in a tough environment. The price seemed fair, considering the amount of work required (5-6 days). The job was well done and areas where mold was once visible are now clean.

Our experience was great -- both the inspection and the work itself. When Joe gave us the results of our mold test, he walked us through the options and helped us to make the right decision. He was knowledgeable and honest. On the day of the mold removal, he arrived right on time and made us feel totally at ease with the process. He clearly takes pride in his work, coming back to the house when the cleaning was done to inspect everything and walk us through the steps we should take to avoid future problems.

Joe charged exactly what he quoted, and immediately provided test results upon request when they became available. Joe offered any additional follow-up conversations to help us understand the report. Joe crew did a great job and the cost for the additional work was very fair. MSI could have charged me anything since the amount of the additional work was unknown but they were extremely fair and reasonable with the final bill. I would recommend them for their honesty, cleanliness professionalism and great work.

Joe and his staff completed a full service mold removal and remediation of my basement. He was extremely professional, clean, courteous and thorough during the entire process. Joe called everyday to check on progress and made sure that my wife you has fibromyalgia was okay. Joe dropped off extra Hepa fans and dehumidifiers to help with any odors from the mold and the cleaning solutions. Joe even check back with us a week later to see how everything was going. Joe also agreed to come back to the house after I have a leak in my front door repaired to make sure there was no additional mold removal needed. I would recommend MSI to anyone with mold. He exceeded my expectation in a very stress situation.

Overall, a great experience. I was contacted very shortly after making an inquiry and the work was completed that very same week. Staff was efficient and professional - they came on time and answered all of my questions. The work was completed neatly and there was not any residual mess to clean up.

Joe worked under a goo bit of pressure. An employee of my tenant recorded his work on her cell phone. Joe remained pleasant and professional during his half hour in the house. I trust Joe and his work ethic completely. Working with him has been a pleasure.

The tenant was very nervous about the mold and visited the basement frequently during Joe's work. He remained polite at ll times, although honest with her. When he finished the job, the mold was gone. The tenant wasn't convinced, so Joe returned after 2 weeks to test the air conditioner for mold to assure her. There's a reason this company is #1, and that reason is Joe! I greatly appreciate his honesty, integrity, and excellent work.

I called MSI after hours, 9:15 at night to be exact, and spoke to a live person who put me in contact with Joe. An air condition unit in the apartment above leaked and caused water damage on the ceiling, walls and carpet. Joe came out to my home promptly, and his team arrived shortly after. They took out all the water, cleaned all of the mold and set up several pieces of equipment to dry out the unit. They finished the work quickly, and because it was 2 in the morning, they did so very quietly and didn't disturb any of the neighbors. I called 3 other companies who claim to have 24 hr. emergency service and not a single one called back until the next day. I can not express my gratitude to him and his team for coming out and getting my home back to being livable. They truly honor their claim of being an emergency service company, and although I hope this never happens again, I know who to call.

I had Joe from MSI test my unit after a leak because of the extensive mold. The unit must have been slowly leaking for quite some time until the condensate line just broke completely. I was concerned about mold and was completely delighted to learn that the mold in my apartment, which was cleaned by MSI, was completely gone.
